Thanks for looking at my team. Please leave suggestions that will better my team.
Dragonite @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fly
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
I decided to start out with Dragonite because I wanted to build my team around him. I feel like this Pokemon is underrated because of its Multiscale ability which is super useful for setting up. This is my sweeper and Z user of the team and is able to be super effective in the late game after I use hazard setting.
Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 8 HP / 4 Def / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
This is my partner to Dragonite. Magnezone is able to check some of the Pokemon that Dragonite struggles with, such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and even Defensive M-Scizor. It is scarfed for speed control and is able to trap effectively. Magnezone is also an effective special attacker for my team.
Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Water Shuriken
- Spikes
Standard Ash-Greninja is used as an effective Special Attacker and is also good at setting hazards for Dragonite to sweep later. Most often, Dragonite needs hazards set up on the other side in able to sweep effectively, and Ash-gren is good at doing this with high speeds.
Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
Chansey is super useful in this team, because of my weakness to Tapu-Koko and other powerful special attackers. It is also effective in setting hazards and widdling down damage from the enemy team in order to set up for Dragonite.
Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Nature's Madness
- Moonblast
- Defog
Tapu Fini is my defogger and it is also used as a physical wall for my team. While I realize this isn't the most ideal physical wall, I chose Tapu Fini because of its Misty Surge which helps Dragonite from being statused and prevented from being able to sweep. Overall, I want to keep this mon and maybe have a better physical wall..
Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
Lastly, Mawile is used to clean up the enemy team, and it also the only Pokemon on my team that uses Knock Off. I find this very useful for opposing stall teams (Especially for Chansey). It is another way to get damage off for Dragonite.
Thanks for checking it out.
