forced into the hazards.

This my original rmt. i wanted to build a team with a strategy that is never seen. My goal is to set up stealth rock and spikes and then force them to switch with whirlwind dragon tail and roar. This team has had some decent success but still needs work. i am not sure whether to add toxic spikes because if i switch them around the poison cant build up. The biggest threats are espeon because he reflects entry hazards and reniculus because he takes nothing from entry hazards.

Deoxys-D @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Recover
- Psycho Boost
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
Role: this guy is my lead and a mixed wall. With the evs and nature he has over 400 special defence and over 450 defence. Leftovers is for recovery. Recover heals him by half way and increases his survivability. Psycho Boost is his very powerful STAB move. Stealth Rock is generally the first move i use because it is the most important. After that i use spikes and recover when nessesary until i have 3 layers. Once that happens i psycho boost to the max. He is good at his job but if there is anyone who can do it better please let me know. He usually sets up SR and 2-3 layers of spikes. His main issues are tyranitar who can 2 hit kill him and espeon who bounces back his hazards. Unfortunately psycho boost doesnt really hurt either of them so i am considering using focus blast over psycho boost so i can at least kill tyranitar. He is probably the most important member of my team because without hazards my whole team falls apart.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Roost
Role: Skarmory is a physical wall, back up hazards user and the first of my shufflers. He finishes up the job of setting up spikes if deoxys fails. With the evs and the nature he is a very good physical wall. Leftovers is for recovery. Spikes is for the rest of my team and it helps him out. Whirlwind is to shuffle them and force them to take entry hazard damage. Brave bird is his STAB. Roost is for healing. If a pokemon sets up a substitute and other set up moves he can always get rid of them because of his ability sturdy. He has two important immunities to ground and poison. He has the best physical wall on my team and possibly the best shuffler.

Gengar__Shadow_Ball_by_RapidPowerBlast.jpg

Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Role: This guy is very useful. His ghost typing makes him a spinblocker and an immunity to fighting and normal. he is also immune to ground and poison. With a choice scarf he can out speed many boosted sweepers and hit very hard. He kills 3 main threts to my team. Reniculus tyranitar and espeon. Trick is to cripple wallso that try to heal off hazard damage. The evs make him fast and deadly and with a timid nature he reaches extreme speeds. Shadow Ball is for STAB and it kills reniculus espeon and starmie. Starmie is a very common spinner and he needs his scarf to outspeed him. Focus Blast adds to his coverage allowing him to kill tyranitar. Hidden power ice is for dragons and genies. He can sweep nicely after all the hazard damage. This guy has so many uses to my team it is unbeleivable.

Pikachu_riding_the_Dragonite.jpg

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Dragon Tail
- Roar
- Extreme Speed
Role: Dragonite is another phaser like skarmory. He has massive mixd bulk with the evs nature and multiscale. Roost heals him up to full so he can keep using multiscale. Leftovers counters sandstorm and hail damage that would negate multiscale. Roost is for healing. Dragon tail is for overall phasing and it deals some nice damage. Roar is to force them to switch in case they set up a substitute. Extremespeed is because he has no speed evs so he can finish off weakened pokemon and even clean up after a sweep. He is also an overall wall that can take almost any hit once he is up to full and has the multiscale bonus. He is kind of my mixed wall.

milotic2_2.jpg

Milotic (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Recover
- Dragon Tail
- Ice Beam
- Scald
Role: Milotic is the last of my 3 phasers. He is specially defensive which gives me a physical mixed and special phaser. The evs just give him massive special bulk. This guy doesnt mind being paralyzed because it boosts his defense. Recover is to make him live longer. Leftovers is for added recovery. Dragon Tail is for more phasing to deal residual damage and deal extra damage. Ice beam is for dragons and flying pokemon. Scald is STAB that has a nice chance of burning. He can finish off weakened pokemon from all the hazards. His ability makes him a decent status absorber. He is also the only bulky water type on my whole team. I was considering a bulky gyrados with dragon tail over him so i would like some feedback on that.

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Role: The last pokemon of my team. He also is very important. Rapid spin gets rid of entry hazards that could ruin multicale and sturdy. With the evs and life orb he is a potent special attacker. Timid nature makes him able to out speed all the genies and other important threats. Natural Cure makes him another status absorber. Thunderbolt and Ice Beam provide great coverage against a huge variety of threats, Hidden power fire catches so many people of guard and kills scizors planning to use bug bite and ferrothorns using power whip. He can clean up after all the entry hazards and usually kill the rest of the team. He is a very valuable member of my team.

Conclusion: A lot of these sets may not be standard and if you think there is a better set you can reccomend it. Also if there are any other pokemon that could do a better job than any of these i would like to hear them. Dont be afraid to be harsh if it can help me. Here the export.
