Intro of my RMT
Hey guys, what's up?! This is my first rmt with this account, lost my old one due to losing my mail and password. It actually is my third rmt here on smogon. It is just a standard OU team nothing special, but I felt like making a new team. It worked awesome, I didn't test on Shoddy but 15 á 20 battles on serebii chat. I found some flaws and some strengths, it's pro's and his con's. But that's it for the intro, let's take a look at the team building proces!
Team building proces
A couple of days ago I took a peak at the shoddy server statistics... There I saw my second favorite poké on a 16th place of usage, and I wanted to start a new Dragonite hype! That's right my first pick is Dragonite the COOLEST dragon there is!
After I picked the moveset I knew what I needed next. A way to get rid of those pesky steel types! After considering a few options I had to chose between Magnezone and Heatran. I have been wanting to use a Magnezone for quite some time know, this looks like a great opportunity to do so!

A couple of days ago I took a peak at the shoddy server statistics... There I saw my second favorite poké on a 16th place of usage, and I wanted to start a new Dragonite hype! That's right my first pick is Dragonite the COOLEST dragon there is!

Next I wanted a spinner, since my main guy is weak to stealth rock I wanted a way to get rid of them. 3 poke's came to mind, Starmie, Tentacruel and Forretress. Forretress dropped out as quick as he came to mind for the simple reason that I didn't a second fire weakness so quick in the proces of building this team. Than came the choice between Starmie and Tentacruel, this was though I can tell you that. But eventually I went with Starmie, but with a slithely different set than the standard one, you'll see that later on.

Next I went and searched for a lead, this took me sooooo long, unbelievable... With the poke's I had and some things I had in mind Swampert would be a huge problem. So I went on and searched for leads that could deal with him, 3 came to mind. Heatran, Celebi and Azelf. Heatran dropped out first, that was because Celebi and Azelf have acces to u-turn and Heatran doesn't. And next I looked further than Swampert and Stealth Rocks. With the team/sets I had a suicide lead just doens't cut it, so did Celebi earn his spot!

After I placed Celebi in the team I noticed that I still lacked priority, and out of habit I put Scizor in, but that quickly changed since I would've a huge weakness against Scarftran or any Heatran for that matter... So I looked at good priority users in OU, I couldn't come up with anything.. At the end of the longest search I ever had Infernape made a way in this team, mainly to revenge kill. How he does that you'll read below.

Finally I wanted a little more bulk, and someone who could switch in on powerful u-turns and stuff. Went to serebii looked witch types had resistance to bug(I usually forget 2 XD). I came out with 2 types were I was interested in, fighting and gohst. But fighting doesn't have enough bulk. The bulkiest poke was Machamp, but he didn't have any form of recovery next to rest. So it was Dusknoir who fought himself a spot in the team.
This is how the team looks!

Now we have seen the team building proces I'll be guiding you people trough the team, how it works, who does what and how I win!
Quick small glance at the team:

The in-depth look in my team!

Celebi @ Occa Berry
Natural Cure
Modest
76 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
~ Stealth Rock
~ Leaf Storm
~ Earth Power
~ U-Turn
Natural Cure
Modest
76 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
~ Stealth Rock
~ Leaf Storm
~ Earth Power
~ U-Turn
Celebi the lead, awesome pokémon, awesome moves. This thing gets his rocks up almost every battle. While still being able to KO an annoying bulky water pokémon later in the game. It's a beast! With modest and 252 Sp Attack EV's it can KO a lot with leaf storm who don't resist it. But leaf storm is mainly there for those pesky water types and Hippowdon and Tyranitar leads. It is an OHKO on both. Than there is earth power, it is there to take down Metagross, Heatran, maybe Infernape, and Jirachi. Although the latter of the two almost always U-turn out, they can be taken down by earth power. U-turn is maybe the best move in the current metagame, not being hit by pursuit and getting the switch advantage. It can win you a game. As I lead I only use u-turn to switch out against Azelf because I get to bring him down to his sash and than revenge kill with Infernape. Celebi also comes in late in the game, if his occa berry is still intact he often comes in on Heatran to kill it with earth power. And kill off bulky water types with leaf storm.
Celebi against top 5 leads:

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
Blaze
Adamant
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~ U-turn
~ Close Combat
~ Hidden Power (Ice)
~ Overheat
Infernape the revenge killer, does his job good. Reliable revenge killer and can even sweep late game with close combat. But it doens't do that. It comes in of the u-turn from Celebi if I need to kill of a lead. And further it comes in when something is killed and I need to kill it of quickly. Moves pretty much speak for themselfs here. Not much more to say. You can argue about the nature but adamant cuts it for me.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
Timid
136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe
~ Rapid Spin
~ Recover
~ Psychic
~ Surf
Starmie the rapid spinner. This pokémon is key to this team. Dragonite can't come in to often on stealth rocks. And since that is my main guy I can't have stealth rocks laying around. Starmie does an awesome job at getting rid of them. You guys are probably wandering why I put psychic on Starmie in stead of thunderbolt.. Well this is that little twich to the set I talked about in the team building proces. Psychic is mainly why I chose Starmie over Tentacruel. My team had a problem dealing with fighting types. And Starmie solves this perfectly! The other day I let Starmie in on a ScarfCross, he went for a night slash... It didn't even do 3 quarters!! And it one shotted him with psychic. Starmie is key to this team! There is great synergy in the team. Psychic is also there to OHKO the annoying Gengar wich is definetly the biggest thread to this team. Surf is there for STAB an to do damage to the ScarfTar before it kills me with either pursuit or crunch. But when he pursuits I have a change of winning against it with the combination of surf and recover. This is definetly 1 of the key members of this team. And 1 of the 3 pokémon from the core!

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Magnet Pull
Timid
40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
~ Subsitute
~ Thunderbolt
~ Toxic
~ Magnet Rise
Magnezone the steeltrapper. This guy is most of the matches the MVP. Since almost every team carries a steel type or 2 he gets those kills. And now you are all like, toxic, wtf?! But it works! I read it in a old RMT a couple of weeks ago and I thought of it while deciding Magnezones fourth move. It breaks walls like Rotom-A and Swampert who I couldn't hurst otherwise. Maybe with HP(grass) but that would leave me vulnerable against other types of pokémon. So toxic hits them all and behind a sub a can stall them out a bit to, for a great example the battle I had yesterday. I had my Magnezone behind a sub after killing of a Jirachi. The guy brings in a Porygon2 with mirror coat. I was like TY GOD for toxic XD. I stalled him out with toxic till the range were I could kill him off with thunderbolt. Magnezone is here to get rid off the steel types who would stop Dragonite cold. And it's Dragonites job to kill the most of his team, but how odd it is this guy usually kills most of the opponents team. Even when he is dead he often gets a kill by using toxic earlier in the battle. This guy is the 2 piece of my core and maybe the biggest key in this team!

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Inner Focus
Careful
252 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Light Screen
~ Dragon Claw
~ Roost
Dragonite, the third piece of the core! This guy has a weird moveset, a weird EV spread, and you guys probably think it doesn't work! But the strange this is that is does work with the support of Magnezone and Starmie. Magnezone is there to get rid of the steel types that resist my dragon claw. And Starmie is there to get those annoying stealth rocks out of the way so that Dragonite can come in without taking any damage. Now I'll explain how the moveset works. Dragon Dance is quite obvious, it is there to raise my badly needed attack and speed I need for the sweep. Light screen is there to let me take ice beams as a champ and letting me set up against a wide variaty of special attacking pokémon. Roost let's me heal of any damage and let's me take ice type attacks even better if I'm faster. An ice beam of Vaporeon does a little under half with light screen up! (40-47%).

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure
Impish
28 Atk / 252 SpD / 228 Def
~ Will-o-Wisp
~ Shadow Sneak
~ Earthquake
~ Pain Split
Dusknoir, the mixed wall. This guy is here to take hits, and that's pretty much his purpose. Together with crippling the opponent physical pokémon who could hurt Dragonite. I'll explain my EV spread for you guys, I put all the EV's given to HP on smogon to special defense to take special hits better, and doing a heck of a lot more damage with pain split. Earthquake is there to kill of any Heatran trying to get a free flash fire boost. And shadow sneak is a must since my team lacks any form of priority. But it's powerful enough to take down a weakend pokémon. This guy is important, but it can be changed into something that does this job better. And not to forget, this is my guy who switches in on powerful u-turns and fighting type attacks.
NOTE: I can take rotom-A, but than you have to explain to me how to keep it in it's alternate form in a wifi battle!
A final glance at the team!

Thread list
Defensive Threats:
Blissey – Go to Dusknoir since I don't want ape paralysed, if it has toxic I go to ape. With Dusknoir weare it down with EQ and wow. Ape = CC = Kill.
Bronzong – Infernape or Magnezone, it has no chance at all!
Celebi – Infernape, overheat or u-turn. Celebi can also take it on with a u-turn and than kill it off with the thing I switch in.
Cresselia – Could be a problem. But Magnezone can toxic it and weare it down with repeated thunderbolts.
Dusknoir- Can be dealt with by Celebi and Ape.
Forretress – INFERNAPE
Gliscor – Starmie can take it on with surf and Celebi can deal some major damage with leaf storm. But Starmie always comes out on top, as it can take u-turn pretty nice.
Hippowdon – Celebi has an OHKO with leaf storm, and Starmie can kill it by repeated surfs.
Jirachi – They usually aren't to defensive. But Infernape can take them down. As can Dusknoir with the combo of pain split earthquake.
Rotom-A – This thing is just a royal pain in the ass. I can stall him a but with Magnezone (toxic). And try to deal some damage to it with tbolt. If I can work around it I would rather have ape destroy it late game with overheat.
Skarmory – Starmie can come in, surf and spin away the spikes. Ape can also come in and overheat the crap out of it.
Snorlax – It is easily dealt with by Infernape, tough I really don't have a back-up plan... I'll deal with him as it goes. He isn't to common anyways.
Suicune – Magnezone can weare it down with repetitive thunderbolts. But I usually go straight to Celebi if he is still around and leaf storm!
Swampert – See Hippowdon.
Tyranitar – See Hippowdon.
Vaporeon – It can be a pain. But that's only when both Celebi and Magnezone are gone.. And that won't happen to fast. Even than Dragonite can set up on it and eventually kill it off with dragon claw.
Zapdos – Ape can solve this little problem with stone edge. But I rather go to Dragonite and set up on it if all of his steel types are taken care off, or are in kill range of dragon claw.
Offensive Threats:
Azelf – I’m going to assume it’s a lead and deal with it as I described in the summary of Celebi.
Breloom – PAIN!!!!! I hate this thing so unbelievably mutch! I have to sleep fodder something to bring in either Ape or Starmie who can both OHKO it.
Empoleon - I don't face them to much really.. But I think Dusknoir can take them on with not to much trouble. Or I have to hope that Ape can outspeed after a agility.
Gengar – This is probably the biggest thread to my team. I can revenge kill it with Starmie if it lacks scarf and Ape can revenge kill to.. If it is at a quarter health Dusknoir can shadow sneak. If all the steel types are gone Dragonite can just come in and set up, as long as he doesn't get a defense drop.
Gyarados – Dusknoir can come in and wow, Magnezone can come in if it lacks EQ, not much of a problem.
Heatran – I hope I can get it on a switch with Ape or Dusknoir. If it isn't scarfed it isn't much of a problem, other wise prediction will get me out of it.
Infernape – Argh sometimes it can be tricky, Starmie can usually come in safely, normally the plan to kill infernape is to come in on close combat with Dusknoir and finish with EQ.
/
Jolteon/Raikou – Both can be taken care of by Celebi, as it can take a hp(ice) unless they are specsed. But than it's easier to predict and take them down.
Latias – It's a bit of a problem.. But I can weare it down with u-turns from Ape, and Magnezone can deal with the specs variants. Altough prediction is better.
Lucario – Dusknoir!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can take crunches, and can either wow or earthquake.
Machamp – See Lucario (crunch=payback)
Magnezone – Celebi, since I try and keep him alive for a great deal of the battle since I need his leaf storm. But his EP can come in handy in this situation. Otherwise try and EQ it with dusknoir..
Mamoswine – Starmie can deal with it quite easily. Just hit it with 1 or 2 surfs and he is a gonner.
Metagross – Dusknoir can take it's hits pretty well and wow, or EQ it.
Salamence - I can usually predict my way around him, but he is a major thread to the team. Dusknoir can take his hits, but not for to long. Hopefully long enough to burn him.
Scizor – He is easily dealt with by Ape.
Starmie – Starmie can be revenge killed by Ape, and if it lacks ice beam Celebi can ruin it to, O and Magnezone checks him nice to.
Tyranitar – Starmie hit's it with surf. Die's unless he is pursuited(and locked into it) than I can beat him with the combo recover surf.
Weavile – APE
Zapdos – Ape can come in. But I hope by the time he comes in all of the opponent's steel types are gone and Dragonite can set-up on it with ease.
