Free Switch Team

Hey forum, this is my first post, i'm new to metagame but this is my team

Lead
Whimsicott-Anti-lead with transition into Subseeder

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster,
Nature: Calm,
EVs: 240 HP / 128 Def / 136 SpD / 4 Spe
- Taunt
- U-Turn
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
This guy is one of the gems of the new pokes coming in from BW, he is undoubtedly the best taunter around and has fairly decent speed as well which allows him to u-turn out to be used as a sub-seeder later (another things he's quite good at). In play testing he has worked extremely well and is only 1HKOd when i make a miscalculation.
Physical Attacker
Mamoswine @
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Adamant
EV: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

~ Earthquake
~ Ice Shard
~ Stone Edge
~ Superpower

This thing kills things, plain and simple. I opted for Superpower to give me a powerful Fighting type attack and iceshard can almost always 1HKO DD sweepers which is a weakness on my team, i originally had Breloom filling this spot but mamoswine has much more sweeping potential and gives me an easy switch in on electric attacks. This guy works especially well with Vaporeon as Mamo can absorb the electric attacks and Vap can absorb the water attacks.

Special Attacker

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Nature: Modest
Ability: Levitate
EV: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
-Charge Beam
-Fire Blast
-Draco Meteor
-Dark Pulse
This guy is awesome, i don't think i need to say any more. He can absorb ground attacks, force a switch and KO with Draco Meteor, or hit them with Charge Beam which negates some of the drawbacks of Draco with the SpA boost. It doesn't have the best staying power, but with Wish support this thing is Fearsome

Wish Support/Water Absorber

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EV: 248 HP/224 Def/ 36 SpD
-Surf
-Toxic
-Protect
-Wish

Vaporeon is probably one of my favorite pokemon, i've only had it 1HKOd once with a thunder and besides that when this thing switches it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It has some trouble with steel types but if i wish then switch to Hydra there is no problem. Again, just a generic vaporeon wish supporter.

Wall
Ferrothorn @Shed Shell
598.png

Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Iron Barbs
EV: HP 252/ 48 Def/ 208 SpD
-Spikes
-Leech seed
-Protect
-Power Whip
I hate this Pokemon to be honest, but it works so extremely well with Whimsicott, Whimsicott can drop a leech seeds, u-turn to Ferrothorn who can then stall and set up spikes and if it gets into any trouble with fire I can just switch to Chandelure. I opted for Power Whip over Gyro Ball because of Whimsicott not having a grass attack. I opted for Shed Shell over Leftovers because if i set up with whimsicott then u-turn in it basically negates the usefulness and shed shell prevents it from being trapped.

Choice Scarf Revenge Killer
609.png

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Nature:Timid
Ability: Flash Fire
EV: 4 Def/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
-Overheat
-Energy Ball
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power Fighting
This guy has worked extremely well, before i had Gengar and Espeon in this slot but this poke has done extremely well at not only sweeping but switching into a fire attack and almost always 1HKOing with a STAB Overheat with fire boost. I might switching hidden power fighting out as i have almost never used it successfully but for right now this is the set

I placed a focus on making successful switch ins with this team. Chandy has fire, fighting and normal, Mamo has electric, Hydra has ghost psychic and ground, Vaporeon has water, and Ferro has poison.

Overall This team has won most games, there has been a problem if scizor gets a swords dance and Chandy is KOd, he can easily sweep with bullet punch, besides that there hasn't been any real threats mainly thanks to Mamoswine's ice shard. One feature that has been a problem is the lack of status healing but it hasn't been too detrimental
