So after taking a long break from Pokemon, I noticed a host of insane changes have taken place in the metagame in my absence. Garchomp uber. Latias OU. Suddenly Scizor and bullet punch rule the day, metagross is popular again. My god, this really is a trendy game... So desinging a new team was a challenge for me as I had to adapt to new threats while ignoring others i normally fretted over. So here goes, this team consists of a defense set that meshes quite well that I used before, and new offensive set to conpensate for todays metagme. Focuses on using entry hazards and a mix of defense and attack to win the day. Rate away fellow trainers.
AT A GLANCE:

Azelf@ Focus Sash
Naive
252 sp.atk/ 220 sp/ 36 atk
Flamethower
Thunderbolt
Explosion
Stealth Rock
My lead, uncommon today but still effective. Flamethower toasts metagross and brongzong, halfing their hp at the very least. I'm torn on life orb, as it often causes an o-ko an metagross (never on brongzong) which would cause azelf to "win" against metagross most the time. I choose focus sash because it allows Azelf to survive that one hit to set up or strike. After testing I learned with easy prediction I can smack Aero around even after a taunt, and If im lucky Fortress can remove the stealth rocks after azelf goes down, but Aero will go down with me.

Flamethower
Explosion
Earth Power
Dragon pulse
For scizor. <3 Also, great switch in for fortress (flash fire) and excellent revenge killer all around. I went with flamethower for accuracy (scizor dosen't need a fire blast, and missing sucks anyway; most of what needs fire dies with flamethower.) Resistant to all those popular priority moves (bullet punch extremespeed, ice shard) he can own lucario, infernape, admant heracross...ect.

Mamoswine @ Choice Band/ Life Orb
Adamant
252 ak/ 252 sp/ 4 def
Ice Shard
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Bite
The most uncertin choice on my team. Choosen for his ability to block electricity (my team is somewhat weak to this element) and take down dragons (esp those who got a DD) with Ice Shard. Bite would be for Cress (another poke my team fears) but there are other fillers moves that might be better. Having a priority move is a good idea these days, but he is vulnerable to many OU threats. If have any better pokemon to fill his shoes, tell me. I've never used one but they have always appealed to me.

DynamicPunch
Rest
Ice Punch
Rest
Sleep Talk
Standard Rest talker, although I'm considering a bulkier spread. DynamicPunch is psychological warefare at its best, and serves as a great phazing move. He can absorb sleep, but is sleep as prominent (gengar, breloom, ect) as it was back in the day? Rest and dynmaicpunch meshe well with toxi-stall, forces switches while stalling. Dynamicpunch rapes blissey and can get aromatherapy out of the way to prevent the other team from healing off toxic. Bulky but also dangerous, I like this set but it relies a little heavily on luvk.

Fortress @ lefties
Impish
252 hp/ 252 def/4 atk
Explosion
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Earthquake
Lay down those entry hazards, you dastardly bagworm tank thing! With his typing fortress can handle many physical threats well enough to switch in and lay down spikes, then get out of there. I know Toxi-stalling isn't as effective as it once was, but it's still potent and can destroy teams that are switch happy. And its not like I don't have pokemon that can handle steel. He also spins, keeping my sweepers safe from entry hazards themselves. This is a great utility pokemon and an important part of this teams synergy.

Vaporeon @ Lefties
188 hp/252 def/ 68 sp or sp. def
Bold
Protect
Wish
Surf
Hp Electric
Vaporeon is perhaps the best eeveelution (but i still love jolteon more).Protect and wish are great stalling tatics for toxic spikes, and she can pass wish too. She's a better alternative to other bulky waters because of this and her ability to shrug off graas knot, which destroys all those water fatties (no offense suicune). Hp electric destroys gayrados, but the threat of ice beam is enough to force switches in a bluff before they know I don't have the move. Also sponges special moves pretty well.
THE END. At this point I worry about Cress and Hera a lot, but everything else I'm pretty sure I have covered. Maybe a specsGar could cause trouble, as this team is a bit weak to special.
