:swsh/xurkitree::swsh/drampa:
k5alh8t7b7-1.png

Just your (slightly more) eccentric grandpa.
DNA Donors: Xurkitree / Drampa
Fusion Name: Dramtree
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 74 / 78 / 164 / 81 / 69 [BST: 526] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +10 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Beast Mode = (Beast Boost + Berserk)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail, Wild Charge
all Electric moves, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, etc.
Calm Mind, Substitute
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Xurkiampa boasts a high SpA, and has good STAB to go alongside it. However, it is slow for a wallbreaker and has low bulk, limiting its switch ins. It is also hit hard by Ground and Fairy-type attacks.

New sub time:

:swsh/latias::swsh/hattrem:
mqew3df0om-1.png

Hat Dragon
DNA Donors: Latias / Hattrem
Fusion Name: Lattrem
New Types:

Base Stats: 68 / 60 / 87 / 108 / 111 / 79 [BST: 513] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +10 Def / +10 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Witchcraft = (Levitate + Magic Bounce)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail
Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Psychic, Mystical Fire
Toxic, Thunder Wave, Wish, Healing Wish, Trick, Roost, Tailwind, Reflect, Light Screen
Intended Role: Utility / Special Wall
Role Justification: At first glance, Lattrem seems a bit below-par. However, it justifies its lower BST with insane utility moves, a good ability, and coverage to hit Masquerajah and Metagon.

:swsh/crawdaunt::swsh/haxorus:
88bwz7ytv6-1.png

A power-hungry crab.
DNA Donors: Crawdaunt / Haxorus
Fusion Name: Crawrorus
New Types:

Base Stats: 69 / 133 / 87 / 75 / 62 / 76 [BST: 502] (+0 HP / 0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Outside the Box = (Adaptability + Mold Breaker)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Knock Off, Dragon Claw, Outrage, Aqua Jet, Crabhammer, etc.
no viable moves
Swords Dance, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Sweeper / Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Crawrorus is a fearsome physical wallbreaker with its access to an Adaptability-boosted Knock Off that cripple 'mons reliant on their items such as Torranadus-Therian and Metagon. Alternatively, it can try to set up on passive Pokémon or predicted switches. However, it falls quite short of the essential 90 Speed and struggles to hit much with its secondary Dragon typing. It's also 4x weak to Fairy, so...good luck.

EDIT: No more Attack or Speed buffs for you! Also, RIP Dragon Dance setup sweeps :(

Ability: Outside the Box
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD

Fusion Name: Duradoom
New Types:

Base Stats: 72 / 92 / 82 / 125 / 65 / 110 [BST: 546] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +10 SpA / +0 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Fiery Metal = (Flash Fire + Heavy Metal)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Heavy Slam
Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse
Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Special Sweeper
Role Justification: Duradoom has decent Speed alongside a good Special Attack. Adding to this, its typing nails Cofazor, Tapu Lop, and Hatterune. It also dents Masquerajah and Metagon with Flamethrower and hits dragons such as Rhychomp with Draco Meteor or Dragon Pulse. Finally, Nasty Plot lets it boost and potentially snowball. However, it gets hit hard by Cleracross-Mega, Landowak-Alola, and has an unfortunate 4x weakness to Fighting alongside no recovery.

Nasty Plot Sweeper
Duradoom @ Life Orb
Ability: Fiery Metal
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse

came for the ability name, stayed for a pretty cool fusion with 51% poison chance horn leech
DNA Donors: Tapu Bulu / Toxicroak
Fusion Name: Bulucroak
New Types:

Base Stats: 76 / 120 / 100 / 85 / 90 / 80 [BST: 551] (+0 HP / +2 Atk / +10 Def / +0 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Touch Grass = (Grassy Surge + Poison Touch)
Ability Description: Contact moves and Grass-type moves have a 30% chance to inflict poison.
Notable Moves:
horn leech, gunk shot, earthquake, knock off, stone edge

Swords Dance
Intended Role: Very powerful physical attacker
Role Justification: Hits extremely hard after a swords dance or two, and sets Grassy Terrain for itself. Also has some nice coverage options in Earthquake for Fire-types, Knock Off for Psychic-types, and Stone Edge for basically everything.

:swsh/bisharp::swsh/piloswine:
defiant mon (final draft)
DNA Donors: Bisharp / Piloswine
Fusion Name: Pilosharp
New Types:

Base Stats: 87 / 112 / 90 / 60 / 85 / 75 [BST: 509] (+5 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +20 SpD / +15 Spe)
New Ability: Nanomachines = (Defiant + Thick Fat)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Icicle Crash, Earthquake, Ice Shard, Knock Off, Sucker Punch
Lol
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Defiant mon, bulky physical attacker
Role Justification: It's a defiant mon with great STABs, great coverage, and swords dance

:swsh/articuno-galar::swsh/armaldo:
Speed Defiant
DNA Donors: Articuno-Galar / Armaldo
Fusion Name: Armacuno-Galar
New Types:

Base Stats: 82 / 105 / 92 / 117 / 90 / 90 [BST: 576] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +20 SpA / +0 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Abrasive = (Competitive + Swift Swim)
Ability Description: The user's Speed is raised by 2 stages for each of its stat stages that is lowered by a foe
Notable Moves:
Stone Edge, Earthquake, Superpower, U-Turn
Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Future Sight, Psyshock, Freezing Glare, Shadow Ball
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Recover
Intended Role: Speed Defiant Mon, Special Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Speed Defiant is cool, and it has an actually good rock special move due to Meteor Beam. It has decently high Atk and a good physical move pool (and swords dance), but it only really has one physical STAB so special is probably better.

I will resub a sub from my rough into to the mod:

:swsh/xurkitree::swsh/drampa:
Just your (slightly more) eccentric grandpa.
DNA Donors: Xurkitree / Drampa
Fusion Name: Xurkiampa
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 74 / 78 / 164 / 81 / 69 [BST: 526] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +10 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Beast Mode = (Beast Boost + Berserk)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail, Wild Charge
Earth Power, all Electric moves, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, etc.
Calm Mind
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Xurkiampa boasts a high SpA, and has good STAB to go alongside it. However, it is slow for a wallbreaker and has low bulk, limiting its switch ins. It is also hit hard by Ground and Fairy-type attacks.

A duo of new subs:

:swsh/milotic::swsh/toxtricity:
So what? I'm still a rock star...
DNA Donors: Milotic / Toxtricity
Fusion Name: Milotricity
New Types:

Base Stats: 85 / 79 / 74 / 107 / 97 / 78 [BST: 520] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Rockstar = (Competitive + Punk Rock)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Wild Charge, Waterfall
All STAB, Aura Sphere, Boomburst
Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Punk Rock Abuser
Role Justification: Milotricity's great ability, along with its good stats, make it able to tank special Electric-type moves. It also can spam Overdrive and Boomburst with Punk Rock. However, it might struggle due to its low Defense and Speed.

:swsh/turtonator::swsh/regirock:
Stuck in a shell.
DNA Donors: Turtonator / Regirock
Fusion Name: Reginator
New Types:

Base Stats: 70 / 89 / 167 / 70 / 92 / 43 [BST: 531] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Clear Shells = (Shell Armor + Clear Body)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail, Dragon Claw, Stone Edge, Close Combat, Iron Head, Head Smash, Earthquake
Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Earth Power
Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Shell Smash
Intended Role: Shell Smash Sweeper / Physical Wall / Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Reginator's good defensive typing, alongside its access to multiple hazard options and Shell Smash, make it quite imposing. However, it has no recovery and it suffers from 4-moveslot syndrome. Also, its role as a staller is hindered by its low HP, and its role as a Shell Smash sweeper is blocked by its deadweight speed.
idk how youre doing this but xurkiampa cannot learn earth power, milotricity cannot learn aura sphere, and reginator cannot learn close combat or spikes

more nitpicky things include "punk rock abuser" and "staller" not being roles. stall is an archetype, what you call "staller" is just a wall. also reginator looks outclassed by rhychomp.

Screw it I'm cold.

New Ability: Air Pressure = (Levitate + Pressure)
Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Earth Power, Focus Blast, Clear Smog
: Roost
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: A strong specs wallbreaker with fantastic coverage, decent STAB, and a defensive typing with weaknesses to fairly common offensive types such as fighting, fire, and dark.

New Ability: Air Breaker = (Mold Breaker + Levitate)
Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: Head Smash, Triple Axel, Ice Shard, Rapid Spin, Knock Off, Earthquake, Iron Head, Superpower, Zen Headbutt
: Freeze-Dry
: Swords Dance, Defog, Recover
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: A powerful offensive typing with the STABs to back it up, the coverage to aid it, and the defensive typing to not make it too overwhelming. On top of that its ability allows it to ignore other abilities which is helpful in a meta where abilities can be quite powerful. The combo of head smash and ice shard allows it to hit hard and finish off those that it can't kill right away. That said Rock/Ice is ass defensively with a 4x weakness to fighting and steel along with weaknesses to common types such as water and ground.

New Ability: Sturdy Link = (Sturdy + Skill Link)
Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, Ice Shard, Rapid Spin, Iron Head, Drill Peck
: Shell Smash, Roost, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Set Up Sweeper
Role Justification: Do I even need to explain what this does? It's cloyster without a rock weakness. Have you used cloyster before? Great then you know how this plays. Anyway sturdy allows it to always get off that first shell smash easier and its rock neutrality means that white herb is back on the table. Also it has less special attack in case you wanted to be upset about something.

Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb, Hyper Voice, Psychic
: Nasty Plot, Destiny Bond, Switcheroo, Spikes
Intended Role: Special Sweeper
Role Justification: A fast special sweeper with access to nasty plot for gains, boltbeam, and coverage for those pesky fairies. On top of that having an immunity to fire types is pretty helpful as it eliminates one of its many weaknesses. Oh yeah and it gets a mega so that's kinda neat.

New Ability: Sink or Swim = (Intimidate + Swift Swim)
Ability Description: On switch in this pokemon lowers the opponent's speed stat by one stage
Notable Moves:
: Icicle Crash, Close Combat, Liquidation, Stone Edge, Play Rough, Iron Head, Fake Out, Knock Off
: Dragon Dance, Swords Dance
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker, Set Up Sweeper
Role Justification: A powerful mon with an ability that can let it be a revenge killer. The fighting type allows it to get around rocks decently enough making its ability a lot more useful than it would be otherwise. However it should be noted that it gets dragon dance so if used it could try and set up that way. Of course it does have the downside that being a slower ice type brings, namely common weaknesses being able to check you more often.

Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
:Fake Out???
: Draco Meteor, Ice Beam, Psyshock, Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb
: Lovely Kiss, Nasty Plot, Synthesis, Leech Seed
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Alright look if I'm being honest here I just want this thing to be visualized, but It does have big special attack with nasty plot to make it bigger. However it also gets Lovely Kiss which makes it even scarier than it already was. Point is you don't want to mess with this thing, however due to its typing it's pretty much locked into boots plus it has common weaknesses.

New Types:

Base Stats: 85 / 105 / 85 / 70 / 85 / 90 [BST: 520] (+18 HP / +3 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +15 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Spiteful Witchcraft = (Defiant + Cursed Body)
Ability Description: Defiant + Disables the move that activated the ability

Notable Moves:
Knock Off, Poltergeist, Sucker Punch
Taunt, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Switcheroo, Trick

Intended Role: Hazard Setter, Hazard Removal Deterrent
Role Justification: Shakes up the Hazard meta by ensuring hazards stay on the field as best as it can. Its immunity to Rapid spin combined with its ability taking advantage of Defog means it can quite consistently set up Spikes or SR without being stopped. Despite a rather mid initial power, it can still pressure opponents quite well thanks to Poltergeist's raw BP and Knock Off's utility. In general, Frossharp is less of an offensive or defensive beast but rather an utility option. It has a bit of the opposite of 4MSS, where it ensures running Polt + Knock + one of Sr or Spikes, but doesn't really have a dedicated move for its fourth slot, and it also is pretty lacking in resistances, which is more or less where its drawbacks come in.

You can attempt SD or even double dance with Rock Polish given its array of immunities and passable bulk, but that's generally a suboptimal strategy and there are fusions more efficient for that role.

:swsh/toxicroak::swsh/weavile:
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 120 / 65 / 65 / 75 / 110 [BST: 515] (+4 HP / +7 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +5 Spe)
New Ability: Pick Your Poison = (Poison Touch + Pickpocket)
Ability Description: Poison Touch + Steals items when it hits with Contact moves and has none

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Gunk Shot, Ice Shard, Knock Off, Poison Jab, Triple Axel, U-Turn
Swords Dance

Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Physical Set-Up Sweeper (Swords Dance)
Role Justification: The main concept here is STAB Triple Axel + Poison Touch, resulting in a very high chance to Poison while using a generally good stab. Its otherwise fairly similar to how Weavile plays, but with the biggest differences being Earthquake access and loss of Dark STAB. U-Turn is a great option as its affected by Poison Touch, Knock Off retains the utility it always had and it has all sorts of Priority options at its disposal (Sucker Punch, Ice sharn and Bullet Punch; with the later's only relevance being that its contact, thus affected by the ability).

Its main downside is its frailty, making it rather difficult to bring safely into the field. Hazards are somewhat of an issue, but the metagame has pretty good partners for hazard support if need be.

New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 110 / 95 / 95 / 65 / 85 [BST: 530] (+2 HP / +1 Atk / +1 Def / +4 SpA / +1 SpD / +12 Spe)
New Ability: Gnawrly = (Strong Jaw + Technician)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities; Technician boost applies first.

Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Poison Fang, Scale Shot
Dragon Dance

Intended Role: Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Physical Set-Up Sweeper (Dragon Dance)
Role Justification: Poison Fang hits 112 BP and Scale Shot averages at 112 most of the time as well, being your two main STAB options. Poison Fang ensures it can break past walls as they cannot risk taking repeated hits due to the Badly Poison chance, and Scale Shot helps it outspeed offensive threats, though makes you rather frail.

After your STABS, you'll have to pick your coverage depending on what Steels you want to hit. Fire Fang is the primary option, but loses a fair amount of power if its ability is removed, while Earthquake is a more consistent option but can't hit Maquerajah. Somewhat struggles vs Hatterune because of the ability removal hard dropping Poison Fang's BP.

You may opt for Breaking Swipe as your Dragon STAB if you prefer consistency, as well as there being the factor that Scale Shot leaves you open for revenge killing thanks to the Defense drops, but Breaking Swipe is generally an inferior option and comes across as niche, but still usable. Other niche options are mostly a coverage of choice to hit specific threats in the meta, such as Bite/Crunch for Ghosts or Ice Fang for Hat and Grapplor.

Fast special wallbreaker with an excellent defensive typing.
DNA Donors: Raichu-Alola / Flygon
Fusion Name: Flychu-Alola
New Types:

Base Stats: 70 / 92 / 80 / 100 / 87 / 113 [BST: 542] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +15 Def / +13 SpA / +5 SpD / +8 Spe)
New Ability: Hoverboard = (Surge Surfer + Levitate)
Ability Description: Combined effects.

Notable Moves:
Dragon Claw, Thunder Punch, U-turn…
Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Heat Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
Dragon Dance, Nasty Plot, Roost, Taunt…

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Mon with an excellent defensive typing with plenty of utility and a statspread that allows it to be a Set-up Sweeper and Special Wallbreaker. Nasty Plot is potent alongside a good speed tier, and Draco Meteor and Thunderbolt are great standard STAB options, while U-turn and Volt Switch allow it to act as a good offensive pivot with chip. Mons like Sharpiskorch, Landowak-Alola, and Darmanitan-Prime appreciate Flychu's ability to switch-in on bulky Water-types and use them as set up fodder or threaten them outright with it's STAB moves, and Steel-types like Masquerajah, Togetops, Cofazor, and Deodon-Attack can switch-in on Ice and Fairy-types that threaten Flychu and the latter 3 appreciate Flychu's Ground-type immunity and good offenses with Nasty Plot to help them wallbreak more easily. Has some other neat options that allows it to work well as a Stallbreaker, the aforementioned Nasty Plot alongside Roost or Taunt are options.

Dragon/Electric is very good as a defensive typing, but it gets completely walled by specially bulky fairy types or ground types. Some special mentions go to Goodevoir which not only is not prone to Flychu's common coverage options but is also completely immune to Flychu's most powerful STAB attack and can OHKO it with its own, and Hatterune which basically counters Flychu even harder than Goodevoir as it not only walls every single Flychu set but also steals it's ability so that it can hit it super effectively. Flychu is also prone to Mold Breaker specifically by Vikadrill as it ignores Hoverboard and Flychu's paltry defenses means its not going to survive any hits by them. Flychu is very prone to being statused through mostly Toxic as the poison damage hamper's Flychu's longevity without Roost in it's moveset, but Burn is also really bad for sets that use Dragon Dance and really cuts Flygon's utility as a Setup Sweeper. Fast attackers and scarfers can also revengekill it easily with mons like Sharpiskorch, Darm-Prime, and Venuroar.

:swsh/tentacruel::swsh/braviary:
Defensive pivot that can ignore statdrops and threatens the big defoggers of the meta.
DNA Donors: Tentacruel / Braviary
Fusion Name: Tentiary
New Types:

Base Stats: 100 / 100 / 70 / 70 / 107 / 90 [BST: 537] (+10 HP / +4 Atk / +0 Def / +2 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Bloodshot = (Clear Body + Defiant)
Ability Description: Clear body effects; If other Pokemon were to lower this Pokemon's stat changes, this Pokemon's Atk is raised by 2 stages.

Notable Moves:
Brave Bird, Close Combat, Dual Wingbeat, Knock Off, Rapid Spin, Waterfall...
Scald...
Bulk Up, Defog, Roost, Swords Dance, Toxic, Toxic Spikes...

Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Special Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Control (Rapid Spin, Defog)
Role Justification: This Pokemon's unique combination of typing, movepool, and ability make it an interesting check to stat drop ability mons in the meta, like Landowak, Venuroar, and Manditop. Tentiary can outspeed these mons and revengekill them and can get a boost to it's Atk with the statdrop. Aside from that though, this mon can run a variety of roles. Swords Dance can be used with it's decent Atk for wallbreaking, and it has some good bulk with its typing to act as a nice special wall, with especially good matchups against Torranadus-Therian, Littlesect, Genebro-Galar, and Shellicham just to name a few. It has Scald and Koff to really fit this mon in with the role alongside reliable recovery in Roost. It also has a very good matchup against the popular Defog mons in the meta and dissaudes them from removing their hazards; Landowak and Masq are prone to Waterfall, Metagon is prone to Close Combat, and Cofazor is prone to Knock Off.

Tentiary's typing, while good defensively still leaves it vulnerable to common types and coverage with Electric and Rock and is whittled down easily over the course of the game by Stealth Rock if it doesn't run HDB. Tentiary also has poor physical bulk and is thus very prone to strong physical attackers like Strikados, Lurodactyl, and Lycansian. Lastly, Tentiary's average STAB combo with its average offenses at base means it has a hard time breaking past bulky walls even after a boost. Mons like Mega Emolggron wall all of Tentiary's offensive sets and faster mons revenge kill it easily. Special mention goes to Raibat who not only outspeeds Tentakrow but can also OHKO it with its STAB Volt Tackle and can switch-in on Tentiary's STAB Flying-type moves.

:swsh/golisopod::swsh/infernape:
STAB First Impression Wallbreaker with better Emergency Exit.
DNA Donors: Golisopod / Infernape
Fusion Name: Infernapod
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 125 / 110 / 82 / 80 / 74 [BST: 546] (+0 HP / +11 Atk / +5 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Tactical Retreat = (Emergency Exit + Blaze)
Ability Description: Emergency Exit but activates at 1/3 HP instead of 1/2.

Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Earthquake, First Impression, Flare Blitz, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Leech Life, Stone Edge, U-turn...
...
Slack Off, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Will-O-Wisp...

Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Revenge Killer, Tanky Fighting-type Wall, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Surprisingly versatile physical attacker with decent bulk and colorful coverage to act as a solid wallbreaker. It's type combo is surprisingly good, but the real deal here is actually First Impression which turns Infernapod into a surprisingly reliable revenge killer for mons like Claylamar, Azekrow, Hypnakart, Deodon-Attack, and Nashifu. It also makes use of the crippling Knock Off as well as both Spikes and Stealth Rock and makes it a great offensive supporter and allows it to play around some of its typical checks like Cofazor and Rotokyu with smart prediction. It's access to Swords Dance and a big attack stat also makes it a good wallbreaker, and access to reliable recovery means that Infernapod isn't so easily whittled down over the course of the match. Lastly it also has a better Emergency Exit, which means Infernapod has a much more lenient HP window before needing to switch out and it does more advantageous in more scenarios.

After using First Impression, Infernapod is prone to being revenge killed itself with it's lower speed and poor special bulk, and it's type though is good both offensively and decent defensively still struggles alot to the very common Flying-types of the tier. Special mention goes to both Masquerajah and Talonsyl; the former being able to completely cripple Infernapod with Metalhead, and the latter not caring about First Impression and OHKOing it with it's own priority Brave Bird, though both have to be wary of Infernapod's coverage options that it may be running like Flare Blitz or Stone Edge. Infernapod also struggles against some of the more bulky Pokemon in the tier like Cleracross, Mega Emolggron, Avarupt, and Zarapex, though the latter 2 have to watch out for Knock Off. Although Tactical Retreat is definitely much more lenient and less punishing than Emergency Exit and it does open up more useful situations, getting forced to switch-out is still disadvantageous in most cases.

:swsh/cryogonal::swsh/bronzong:
Ice/Steel type with a Fire-immunity and excellent role compression.
DNA Donors: Cryogonal / Bronzong
Fusion Name: Cryozong
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 88 / 83 / 100 / 125 / 70 [BST: 545] (+7 HP / +19 Atk / +0 Def / +13 SpA / +0 SpD / +1 Spe)
New Ability: Thermo-Cooler = (Levitate + Heatproof)
Ability Description: This Pokemon is immune to Fire-type moves.

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Explosion, Iron Head, Knock Off, Rapid Spin...
Ancient Power, Flash Cannon, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam...
Calm Mind, Defog, Recover, Stealth Rock, Toxic...

Intended Role: Special Wall, Hazard Control, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Cryozong is a combination of 2 types that are actually comparatively low in the meta and also has a wide variety of roles and unique tools that sets apart with a very complementary ability. It's statspread is suited well for a specially defensive mon and it has access to Rapid Spin and Defog for Hazard Control. It also has Stealth Rock itself to set hazards and it even has Knock Off to cripple other walls; this mon being immune to Toxic accentuates this fact. Lastly with reliable recovery and Calm Mind it can set up for a potential wincon to sweep if the conditions are right. Has good matchups against mons like Torranadus, Goodevoir, Lycansian, and Metagon to name a few, and it's immunity to Fire and it's ability to wall Fire-types and force out Dragon-types, Flying-types, and Ice-types, means it pairs well with mons like Serpeblim, Dialgast, Genebro, Zarapex, and Yangarde.

Cryozong is not without it's flaws. It is still weak to very common coverage and STAB options with Fighting-types and Ground-types and it's defensive typing, though not bad, isn't great either and leaves it neutral to even more common types like Steel, Water, and Rock. It also can't always check the supposed Fire-types it's supposed to be able to switch-in to, like Landowak's secondary STAB EQ and Sharpiskorch's Close Combat coverage. It's offensive type combo is also pretty sad, as other bulky special walls can switch-in free and Cryozong will be used as set up fodder, like with Shellicham for instance. Cleracross deserves a special mention as it shrugs off Toxic due to it's ability and can OHKO it back with STAB Close Combat.

Strength Sap, Sleep Powder, Stun Powder, Toxic
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Tank

Ability Description: Sets hail upon switch in. Resets hail once it faints.
Notable Moves:

Freeze Dry, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Earth Power, Blizzard, Volt Switch, Meteor Beam

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Veil Setter
Role Justification: Electrorus is a fast paced special breaker with perfect coverage in Dual STABs + Freeze Dry, letting its last move option be basically anything it wants, which can range from SR to Meteor Beam to Volt Switch. It sets Hail which is also amazing for it.

Notable Moves:

Nasty Plot, Recover, Shift Gear, Magnet Rise
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Set Up Sweeper
Role Justification: Klinkygon-Z is a spwcial wallbreaker than can also tech with a funny Shift Gear set due to how strong it's dual STABs are, regardless of its lack of coverage.

Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Superpower, Head Smash, Wild Charge, Double Edge, Flare Blirz

Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Golemboar uses it's High attack and it's signature ability that essentially gives it two Pseudo STABs in Flare Blitz and Head Smash, which is helpful considering how many Ground immunities exist and the unreliability of Superpower.

New Ability: Tough Claws = (Sheer Force + Static)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Brave Bird, Crabhammer, Superpower, U-Turn, Wild Charge

Swords Dance
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Choiced Abuser
Role Justification: Clicks SD, clicks attacks, the opponent dies. Click TC-boosted STABs to blow away opponents, Brave Bird for any bulky Grasses foolish enough to think they can stop you, or Superpower in case of a rogue physdef Metagon. Band sets are funny.

DNA Donors: Skuntank / Tornadus
Fusion Name: Skuntorn

Base Stats: 91 / 120 / 70 / 103 / 70 / 107 [BST: 561] (+0 HP / +16 Atk / +2 Def / +5 SpA / +0 SpD / +10 Spe)
New Ability: Puffed Up = (Stench + Defiant)
Ability Description: Defiant effects. Defiant also triggers when flinched.
Notable Moves:
Acrobatics, Knock Off, Play Rough, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, Superpower, U-Turn
Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Hurricane, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave
Bulk Up, Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Physical Wallbreaker, Defog Punisher
Role Justification: Hilarious Defiant abuser. While 120 Attack and 107 Speed with Defiant might sound like way too much for the tier, you have to keep in mind that its best STABs are Acrobatics and Poison Jab, leaving it rather weak on the physical side without a Defiant boost. However, if it manages to get to +2, it's a force to be reckoned with, thanks to its rather solid defensive typing and mediocre bulk giving it extra longevity to set up on and take out anything that would wall it. Nasty Plot sets are also strong, with much better STABs in Hurricane and Sludge Bomb/Wave, as well as great coverage in Fire Blast and Focus Blast. Hates not getting access to Roost, but makes up for it with U-Turn, allowing Band, Scarf, or even Specs sets to shine as well. Unpredictable and very useful in the current meta.

New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 95 / 100 / 115 / 65 / 90 [BST: 555] (+3 HP / +0 Atk / +13 Def / +5 SpA / +0 SpD / +18 Spe)
New Ability: Cauterize = (Flash Fire + Regenerator)
Ability Description: Flash Fire effects. Restores 1/3 max HP when hit by a Fire move.
Notable Moves:
Dark Pulse, Fire Blast, Overheat, Sludge Bomb
...
Nasty Plot, Sleep Powder, Will-O-Wisp
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Tank
Role Justification: Fairly strong Nasty Plot breaker, with only one problem in that its Speed is just a little low for it to do anything relevant without being hit. Luckily, it has Flash Fire+ in order to enable more switch-in opportunities (and allow it to wall itself unless they bring Sludge Bomb). Dark/Fire/Grass is pretty great coverage, and nothing in the tier really likes taking repeated hits, which Houngrowth is able to give out thanks to its nice physical bulk. However, the mega is where things get fun.

DNA Donors: Houndoom-Mega / Tangrowth
Fusion Name: Houngrowth-Mega
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 95 / 140 / 145 / 75 / 110 [BST: 655]
New Ability: Solar Power
Notable Moves:
Dark Pulse, Energy Ball, Leaf Storm, Fire Blast, Overheat, Sludge Bomb
...
Nasty Plot, Leech Seed, Roar, Sleep Powder, Synthesis, Taunt, Will-O-Wisp
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Tank
Role Justification: Zarude 2. Tons of offensive pressure, amazing physical bulk, Will-O-Wisp, reliable recovery, this mon's got everything it needs to be effective. Of course, it's burdened with a 4x U-Turn weakness as a physical wall, but it makes that up with the ridiculous amount of pressure it applies to teams once it gets in, particularly if their main breakers are physical.

:swsh/haxorus::swsh/floatzel:
haxel baxel
DNA Donors: Haxorus / Floatzel
Fusion Name: Haxel
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 130 / 75 / 75 / 60 / 106 [BST: 526] (+0 HP / +4 Atk / +3 Def / +3 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Fever Breaker = (Mold Breaker + Water Veil)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
Aqua Jet, Close Combat, Dragon Claw, First Impression, Liquidation, Ice Punch, Outrage
...
Swords Dance
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Physical Wallbreaker, Choice Scarf
Role Justification: Pretty simple SD sweeper. Blows through many of its would-be checks thanks to Mold Breaker, and gets the coverage for nearly anything that it still can't hit with its STABs. Zero bulk makes it fairly difficult to find setup opportunities, and it's prone to being revenge-killed by mons like Lycansian. Still, 130 base attack is nothing to scoff at, and it'll certainly be an impactful force on the tier.

:swsh/regieleki::swsh/dunsparce:

DNA Donors: Regieleki / Dunsparce
Fusion Name: Regidun
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 105 / 60 / 90 / 60 / 125 [BST: 530] (+0 HP / +20 Atk / +0 Def / +8 SpA / +3 SpD / +3 Spe)
New Ability: Resistor = (Transistor + Rattled)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Speed is raised one stage when it uses an Electric-type attack.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Explosion, Extreme Speed, Poison Jab, Rapid Spin, Wild Charge
Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Thunder Cage
Calm Mind, Coil, Glare, Light Screen, Reflect, Roost, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Breaker, Sweeper, Choice Abuser, HO Enabler
Role Justification: Honestly a really nice, straightforward mon. Great offensive coverage with Electric/Ground on physical sets, or BoltBeam on special sets, but extremely flaccid STABs, poor offenses, and very little defensive utility. STAB Extreme Speed is good on physical Coil sets, making it near-impossible to revenge kill if it gets enough boosts. Special sets have much better coverage, but come off of 90 Special Attack, which is a good deal lower than normal. However, they also have setup in Calm Mind, or you can run Specs for more immediate power. Additionally, with the second highest speed in the tier combined with access to screens, Stealth Rock, and STAB Explosion (or Volt Switch for more longevity), Regidun is an amazing HO enabler, though it does struggle with an unfortunate lack of Taunt. Overall, a versatile and powerful mon thanks to the many unique tools it has at its disposal.

probably the full list. yell at me if anything's a problem

New Ability: Defying Flames = (Defiant + Flash Fire)
Ability Description: Combined effects.
Notable Moves:
Fire Lash, Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Power Whip, Earthquake
Coil, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance
Intended Role: Defog punishment, physical breaker, Stealth Rock
Role Justification: Outspeeds Lando and does pretty well against the Steel defoggers. A Defiant boosted Fire Lash sounds pretty hard to switch into. Has its own Stealth Rock access too. is really funny if we ever get to add PLA moves

New Ability: Shadow Eyes = (Compound Eyes + Shadow Shield)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Hex, Moongeist Beam, Focus Blast, Ice Beam, Bug Buzz
Teleport, Quiver Dance, Roost, Defog, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Substitute
Intended Role: special breaker
Role Justification: Moongeist with 91% acc Focus Blast sounds pretty cool for a QD mon, especially with Shadow Shield being as it is. Has other utility possibly as a defensive mon. Drawbacks include a requirement to hold Boots to keep Shadow Shield, which cut into its bulk. has a very funny LC mon if you needed more of a reason to vote for it

New Ability: Impartiality = (Unaware + Clear Body)
Ability Description: This Pokemon ignores the foe's and its own stat changes when attacking or receiving damage.
Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Draco Meteor, Hex, Scald, Earth Power
Recover, Thunder Wave, Will-o-Wisp, Yawn
Intended Role: offensive pivot
Role Justification: offensive unaware was a thing people wanted so here's a whirl. Does pretty well against Kommotot due to Ghost-type and has big Draco (effectively without a drawback) to scare it out. Hex with all of its status options are funny.

New Ability: Livewire = (Transistor + Tangling Hair)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Electric moves lower the foe's speed.
Notable Moves:
Explosion, Rapid Spin, Earthquake, Wild Charge
Volt Switch, Thunderbolt/Thunder Cage, Earth Power/Scorching Sands
Light Screen, Reflect, Stealth Rock, Memento
Intended Role: speed control, suicide lead (hazards/screens)
Role Justification: talking on discord about how we want some fast mons. Ability is functionally useless for it as it outspeeds everything already (by a lot!), but creates some cool interactions either through Volt Switch (fast pivot in something taking advantage of the speed drop) or Thunder Cage (use the free switch). It lacks the stats to completely sweep on its own (and its dire movepool means it never touches Grasses), but helps enable its teammates pretty well. Also enables some HO builds as a cool lead.

New Ability: Hydrothermal Extract = (Flash Fire + Torrent)
Ability Description: Immune to water moves, getting hit by a water move boosts the effect of fire moves
Notable Moves:
Flare Blitz, Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Thunder Punch, Knock Off
Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Scald, Ice Beam, Extrasensory
Swords Dance
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: I swear to fuck that this wasn't just for legends, it just happened to work out that way. Even besides the ability, Typhlosion and Samurott cover each other in stats and move sets quite elegantly, and now you'll see why. Aside from STABS, you see Typhlosion with a physical option for coverage in Thunder Punch, and Samurott with a special option in Ice Beam. Typhlosion also has a special coverage option in Extrasensory (allowing for a full special set to hit everything effectively), while Samurott has a physical coverage option in Knock Off. Through these coverage moves, these mons end up covering each other very well. Also, we have a lot of water mons, and while this is another one, it at least has an answer to water moves.

New Ability: Preload = (Download + Anticipation)
Ability Description: When Anticipation would normally activate, raise this Pokémon’s highest attack stat by one stage.
Notable Moves:
Double Edge, Close Combat, Knock Off
Tri Attack, Focus Blast, Dark Pulse
Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Recover, Teleport
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Fellas, we’re seeing a lot of Toxicroaks this slate, and by now you must be wondering “what makes this one different?” To that, I say quite a few things. Of course we begin with my classic Anticipation stat boost fuckery, as per usual. However, the boosts provided by Download allow for physical or special sets, with STABs, dark coverage, and setup moves to back each up. This also brings Recover for bulkier sets and Teleport for Choice item sets.

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Bulky Set-Up Sweeper (Calm Mind / Meteor Beam), Utility
Role Justification: Espaldo is a neat Meteor Beam abuser that can fulfill a variety of roles. It’s decent bulk and massive movepool make it a very intimidating presence, whether it be as a sweeper with Meteor Beam, an all-purpose special wallbreaker, or even a utility pick due to good utilitive options in Heal Bell, Wish, and more.

Intended Role: Defensive Stealth Rock Setter, Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Mudsela is a solid Stealth Rock setter due to its ability to heavily annoy opponents with status while also maintaining longevity and momentum with Temporal Healing. U-Turn
Water Spout, Surf, Hydro Pump, Draco Meteor, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Sludge Wave
Nasty Plot, Toxic Spikes, Spikes
Intended Role: Special Sweeper, Hazard Setter, Scarf User
Role Justification: Nagaraid may have bad defenses, but it has a solid movepool. Put a Choice Scarf on it with Water Spout, and there you go. As a hazard setter, Nagaraid may not be the best candidate for this role, but its great typing with barely weaknesses allows it to set some Spikes. Its ability randomly raises one of its stats, which may be kind of difficult for this Pokemon. However, those boosts may come in handy.

Fusion: Yveblast
Type: Bug/Dark
Stat Distribution: 98/105/71/85/71/85 [515 BST] (+10 HP/2 Atk/1 Def/0 SpA/0 SpD/6 Spe)
Ability: Swarm Aura (Swarm + Dark Aura)
Ability Description: While the user is active, the power of Bug type moves used by active Pokemon is multiplied by 1.33x.
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Foul Play, Knock Off, Megahorn, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, U-turn
Status: Defog, Swords Dance, Taunt
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker, Physical Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: Bug can often be so underwhelming offensively, so I decided to give it a little boost. Swarm Aura allows Yveblast to fire off stronger U-turns and jack up Megahorn enough that it suddenly becomes scary for non-resists and frailer resists. You also get several options for Dark STAB and Poison Jab for Fairy types.

Fusion: Drudwool
Type: Dragon/Normal
Stat Distribution: 85/100/95/60/95/68 [503 BST] (+11 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/0 SpA/5 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Fluff Skin (Fluffy + Rough Skin) [both effects]
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Body Slam, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Gunk Shot, Scale Shot, Sucker Punch, Superpower
Status: Glare, Roar, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Tank, Hazard Spreader (Stealth Rock), Status Spreader, Physical Sweeper
Role Justification: Drudwool's ability allows it to annoy many physical attackers, both taking less damage from contact moves will damaging the attacker in return. It use this to be a solid utility mon, setting rocks, spreading Glare and/or Toxic, shuffling with Dragon Tail and hitting decently hard with key coverage like Earthquake and Gunk Shot. Alternatively, access to Swords Dance and Scale Shot can leverage its bulk to serve as a surprise late-game cleaner in tandem with solid coverage options.

:ss/Weezing-Galar: :ss/Slowking-Galar:
Fusion: Weezking-Galar
Type: Fairy/Psychic
Stat Distribution: 80/80/100/100/90/45 [495 BST] (+0 HP/3 Atk/0 Def/3 SpA/0 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Stagnant Fumes (Neutralizing Gas + Curious Medicine)
Stagnant Fumes: While user is active, all stat changes are ignored by all active Pokemon.
Relevant Moves:
Special: Dazzling Gleam, Future Sight, Overheat, Psychic, Psyshock, Scald, Strange Steam
Status: Aromatherapy, Defog, Slack Off, Toxic, Will-o-Wisp
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Tank, Hazard Removal (Defog), Cleric
Role Justification: Weezking's Stagnant Fumes nullify all stat changes, preventing enemy sweepers or random stat drops from overwhelming it but making setting up with it pointless. One interesting benefit, however, is that Overheat loses its main drawback, granting strong anti-Steel coverage that Weezking can use to break easier. King can use its movepool to accomplish several roles, whether straight up breaking, clearing hazards or curing its team of status.

:ss/Maractus: :ss/Raichu:
Fusion: Maraichu
Type: Grass/Electric
Stat Distribution: 70/90/65/100/90/85 [500 BST] (+3 HP/2 Atk/4 Def/2 SpA/17 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Stormy Rod= Storm Drain + Lightning Rod [both effects]
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Drain Punch, Extreme Speed, Play Rough, Poison Jab, Volt Tackle, Wood Hammer
Special: Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Surf, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
Status: Encore, Nasty Plot, Spikes
Intended Role: Special Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Role Justification: Maraichu serves as an attacker that can sufficiently use either attacking stat, firing NP boosted attacks off its special or running a fully physical set thanks to its strong STABs and solid coverage between Play Rough, Poison Jab, Drain Punch and priority in Extreme Speed. Its ability allows it to come in freely on Water and Electric attacks, giving it free turns to attack or set up with Plot, though it does have to watch its meh physical bulk.

:ss/Cryogonal: :ss/Duraludon:
Fusion: Cryoludon
Type: Ice/Steel
Stat Distribution: 75/75/85/107/100/95 [537 BST] (+0 HP/3 Atk/3 Def/0 SpA/8 SpD/0 Spe)
Ability: Levy Metal= Levitate + Light Metal [both effects]
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Knock Off, Rapid Spin
Special: Flash Cannon, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Steel Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt
Status: Defog, Recover, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, Toxic
Intended Role: Bulky Special Attacker, Special Cleaner, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin, Defog), Hazard Setting (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: Cryoludon packs the solid bulk, defensive typing and recovery to provide hazard removal for its team, benefitting from a Ground immunity and neutrality to Rocks; as such, it can make for a solid utility mon, especially with support options like status and Knock. However, Cryo is no slouch offensively, packing the famous BoltBeam combo and a respectable special attack to fire off attacks. With the speed boost from Spin, Cryo also thus has to potential to use a fast late-game cleaner set with some combo of STABs, Electric coverage and possible Recover. Just watch out for Fire and Fighting attacks.

Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Fast Utility
Role Justification: The fast Water and fast Grass this meta lacks. Tough Claws+SD looks nice at first, but it's stuck with mediocre dual STABs and very little coverage. It does have a strong Knock Off and U-turn though. It also has Nasty Plot and wide coverage, and even more utility in Scald, Rapid Spin, and Roost, all backed by good offensive stats. Struggles with Toxicargo and Metagon, though. Goodbye, Swampflora!

Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump
Dragon Dance, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Sweeper
Role Justification: Drawbackless Draco Meteor go brr. Dumb ability + STAB combination on paper, but with just 80 SpA, Spindapult won't end the world or anything, so it gets to use the Draco button at the cost of low stats. In fact, physical sets with drawbackless Superpower might be more interesting, with a better 90 Attack, amazing Speed, DDance, and good STABs in Dragon Darts and Double-Edge, plus good options like Fire Punch for Masquerajah, U-Turn for pivoting, Fake Out or Sucker Punch for priority, and Rapid Spin for utility. Spindapult doesn't really have anything for literally any Fairy-type in the meta, however, and it's quite frail in a powerful metagame.

Alright pinheds your time is up. Here's what's going down:

:swsh/kingler::swsh/zapdos:
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 110 / 100 / 90 / 70 / 94 [BST: 539] (+3 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +3 SpA / +0 SpD / +7 Spe)
New Ability: Tough Claws = (Sheer Force + Static)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Despite its overall lack of good physical STAB, this fusion stands out as ratherconcerning due to its combination of hitting very hard thanks to its ability, its capability to set up and a fairly decent defensive type which allows it to have some defensive utility in Roost.

:swsh/skuntank::swsh/tornadus:
New Types:

Base Stats: 91 / 120 / 70 / 103 / 70 / 107 [BST: 561] (+0 HP / +16 Atk / +2 Def / +5 SpA / +0 SpD / +10 Spe)
New Ability: Puffed Up = (Aftermath + Defiant)
Ability Description: Defiant effects. When Defiant triggers, this Pokemon restores 1/4 of its max HP.
This is less of a power issue but moreso the fact that Defiant + Aftermath doesn't quite make sense for healing the user

:swsh/klinklang::swsh/porygon-z:
Fusion Name: Klinkygon-Z
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 95 / 95 / 105 / 80 / 90 [BST: 540] (+3 HP / +5 Atk / +3 Def / +3 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Adaptable Body = (Adaptability + Clear Body)
Ability Description: Both Effects Combined
This Pokémon's combination of Adaptability, Set-Up, stats and coverage make it rather too much for the current metagame

:swsh/crawdaunt::swsh/haxorus:
New Types:

Base Stats: 69 / 143 / 87 / 75 / 62 / 86 [BST: 522] (+0 HP / +10 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +10 Spe)
New Ability: Outside the Box = (Adaptability + Mold Breaker)
Ability Description: Combined effect of both the abilities.
Similarly to the above submission, those offensive stats in combination with Dragon Dance and Adaptability make this too strong for our metagame

:swsh/dragonite::swsh/thievul:
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 96 / 76 / 93 / 96 / 85 [BST: 526] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Behemoth's Strength = (Multiscale + Stakeout)
Ability Description: If this Pokemon is at full HP, attacking stat is doubled.
This ability is rather problematic on a Pokémon with an attack stat as high as 96.

We will give you 24 Hours to fix these submissions.

This Pokémon's combination of Adaptability, Set-Up, stats and coverage make it rather too much for the current metagame
I asked the council what exactly makes this submission problematic in the discord and it fell on deaf ears, so I am asking again here, how is this a too potent of a sub. I would like a real explanation with metagame context and not the ten word veto blurb, because quite frankly my sub needs a buff.

Up next, our one-day discussion phase! After which we will... not have a submission phase right away. Council has decided that it is time for playtesting tours so we can balance the metagame better. More info will be announced soon.

With balance changes in mind though, council has taken the liberty to nerf a rather problematic Pokémon before the tours start:

metagon.png

--->

80 / 90 / 95 / 95 / 95 / 85
Levimetal - Effects of Light Metal and Levitate

Be sure to include Metagon 2.0 in your discussion post!

Alright, time to talk about the mons before the playtesting phase, which will hopefully sort out the balances the meta needs as well as a working and up in coming viability ranking. Before I move on to the winners of the slate:

METAGON
:ss/metang::ss/hydreigon:
Metagon has had an interesting and turbulent history in FERU ever since it's inception. Out of the gate it has possessed excellent traits that made it simply way too good for so many matchups in the meta and completely shuts down and rules over certain matchups that made it impossible to pin down. One of things that made Metagon so weird was just how much it could do and how its traits interacted with the rest of the meta. It's not like Metagon doesn't have any answers in the meta, quite the opposite actually over the past few slates more subs have been made that have traits to put this mon down a peg. Access to reliable recovery, 9 resistances, 2 immunities, and only 1 weakness means and it had an incredibly expansive movepool to boot. Metagon isn't an unbeatable titan, you don't automatically lose when it comes on the field, the biggest problem with this mon is that it was way too centralizing and had traits that made it way too unbalanced in the current power level of the meta.

The recent nerf has made Metagon alot less centralizing and has made it way more balanced while still retaining most of the same things that it did. Losing Dragon STAB is one lost aspect of the mon, but it's different typing has also made this mon take on a much more specialized defensive role while losing the most unhealthy part of its original design which was it's ability to just wall everything. It still retains a good defensive typing, 9 resistances, 3 immunities instead of 2, but now with another weakness in the common Fire- types and now taking neutral from the common Water- and Electric- type attacks.

SLATE 12 REVIEW

:ss/dhelmise::ss/primarina:
Dhelarina looks like a nice jack-of-all-trades mon that is pretty bulky and can do a lot of stuff with its ability. Jack-of-all-trades is not just a title though, as it can do a whole lot with what it has. Rapid Spin for hazard removal, Knock Off, Flip Turn for pivoting, Calm Mind for set up, and strong attacking stats for both sides of the attacking spectrum. It has good matchups against mons like the newcomers Yangarde and Googersby (I still can't get over this name) as it is immune to both STABs and can switch-in on them freely. Because of it's versatility it has this sense of unpredictability that I am a fan of. Also looks pretty nice on Trick Room teams.

:ss/raichu-alola::ss/flygon:
My baby! If you want to know about what this mon does, I've already explained it multiple times in different slates. Instead I'll explain this mons now new purpose going into the evolving FERU meta. This was a resub that I originally created in Slate 1 to act as a fast pivot with a good defensive typing. As I was subbing this mon again however for this slate, I realized it was golden opportunity to make this mon fill a role that was being tossed around: Splashable source of speed control that was pretty linear to play. Our latest source of splashable speed control was Gourninja which was and still is a nightmare to scout, as well as Pherogonga which has been historically bad but also yet again, unpredictable. Lycansian was another source of speed control as well which is nice, but more generally fast mons are generally appreciated. Entering Flychu-Alola, fast pivot with one or maybe two sets that work well, Choice Specs or NP. It's easy to scout, and also has the speed tier to tie with mons like Lycansian and offers yet another form of speed control on a simple mon. Also, the design is real cute.

:ss/haxorus::ss/floatzel:
This has been a mon I've been rooting for for a long time ever since it was introduced in Slate 9 and now it is here as a Mold Breaker Water-type. Haxel can get around its usual checks with Mold Breaker which is why it works so well, especially in a meta with a ton of type-immunity mons running around. There's nothing real much else to say about this mon, Haxel's playstyle is very simple. It's a straightforward setup sweeper that can do a ton of damage once it gets on the field.

:ss/bisharp::ss/froslass:
Interesting Defiant mon who actually has a surprisingly good synergy with its movepool and type. Frossharp's main goal: Set up hazards and keep them up as long as possible. Defiant dissuades Defog, typing prevents Rapid Spin, while its movepool allows it to set Spikes and Stealth Rock. High BP STAB options makes it still a threat while also providing much needed utility. Honestly, I brushed this mon aside at first, but upon closer inspection Frossharp has some very nice utility options that make it a solid choice on teams that need a dedicated hazard setter or hazard removal deterrent, or both. Very much a fan of this.

:ss/tyrantrum::ss/toxtricity-low-key:
Tyrantricity-Low-Key looks like a very strong breaker that makes use of Technician very well with Scale Shot and has good coverage and STAB options to use with Strong Jaw with moves like Poison Fang (which is also boosted by Technician) for explosive damage. Although once again, this is another mon in this slate that has a very straightforward game plan. Set up using Dragon Dance or use Scale Shot, then just go ham with damage output. It's coverage options allow it to cover most if not all of its walls, but it's also kinda stuck with choosing between coverage options if you opt to run Dragon Dance so be wary of that.

Overall I'm very excited how the meta will progress in the future with the nerf and these new additions.

:dhelmise::primarina:

Cool ig. Fairy, Ghost and Water come together and form a very scary STAB combo, probably very hard to handle in the metagame. Like Deviation brought up, it has a bunch of different options from defensive pivot sets, to Calm Mind, to SD to various Choice items.

:raichu-alola::flygon:

Flychu A is a really cool form of fast speed control, but realistically Nasty Plot is by far one of the most potent wallbreakers we currently have right now. I will admit, the fourth, fifth? Ground immune Electric type is kinda annoying to deal with, especially when said one resists Grass, but it probably isn't wack. I think.

:haxorus::floatzel:

Just your standard scary Swords Dance wallbreaker, I think we have checks for this one. Probably.

:bisharp::froslass:

I HATE this Pokemon. Not because it's broken, or garbage. I just hate Pokémon that hyper-centralize hazard control around them, especially when both hazard removal/detterant AND hazard setters are thriving in the metagame. It just strikes me as a Pokemon for people who are too unskilled or too lazy to pilot some good Pokémon. I'm expecting a sharp increase in Metagon and Manditop usage to combat it.

:tyrantrum::toxtricity:

This is a cool wallbreaker imo. Poison Fang has historically a garbage move, but with access to Gnawrly it turns into a nasty piece of work. Scale Shot is also pretty cool, 4 Attacks sets go dummy here.

Edit: AYO Shift Gear??? A set like Shift Gear + Poison Fang + Breaking Swipe + Close Combat goes hard as shit LMAOOOOO.

Edit 2: No Shift Gear i blame Deviation because I saw reguakr Tox in his post and I obviously followed that instead of mod post

After some internal discussion, the Council has decided it is time for yet another...

gastrocham.png
glasnow-mega.png
BALANCE PATCH
hatterune.png
kingfezant.png

hatterune.png

60 / 95 / 120 / 95 / 110 / 30 [510] ---> 57 / 92 / 120 / 93 / 104 / 29 [495]

Simply put, Hatterune was a little too good for the wrong reasons. Its decent bulk, easy way to force opponents out with its ability, easy way to punish switchins with Status Spreading and great stabs made for an easy S tier. However, it was a little too good at what it was doing. This completely removes any and all stat increases it currently has. This does make it noticeably weaker on the Special side, which should hopefully help remedy the issue.

duramaw.png
duramaw-mega.png

70 / 90 / 115 / 90 / 55 / 75 [495] ---> 65 / 90 / 110 / 90 / 55 / 86 [496]
70 / 110 / 155 / 90 / 96 / 75 [595] ---> 65 / 110 / 150 / 90 / 96 / 86 [596]

Fist things first, Mega still is banned. With that out of the way, Duramaw has been rather powercrept since its introduction, simply not being able to catch up to the meta's Speed and Bulk. This simple change trades bulk for a way better Speed Tier, allowing it to better keep up with the meta's pace while trading away stats that are less important for its role.

dialgast.png

85 / 86 / 110 / 110 / 75 / 52 [519] ---> 85 / 86 / 115 / 115 / 75 / 52 [529]

Not much to go too in depth here, its a very simple buff just so it can keep up against the meta's attackers. Dialgast is not bad by any means, but some recent additions have been stepping on its figurative toes as some physically defensive grounds were creeping up. This one really doesn't need much to shine so here's something small for it.

lurodactyl.png
lurodactyl-mega.png

75 / 125 / 85 / 70 / 85 / 96 [536] ---> 75 / 105 / 84 / 85 / 84 / 102 [535]
75 / 155 / 105 / 80 / 105 / 116 [636] ---> 75 / 135 / 104 / 95 / 104 / 122 [635]
Mega Banned ---> Mega Unbanned

Lurodactyl is being entirely repurposed into a Leaf Storm Special Attacker. On the flipside, its lower physical attack also helps the Mega have more balanced stats, meaning it can now be freed.

mr basc.png

75 / 88 / 70 / 95 / 77 / 84 [489] ---> 75 / 88 / 70 / 95 / 77 / 91 [496]

Another rather simple buff. Mr Basc deals good damage but was too slow to function well, and we gave it exactly that.

cramotricity.png

75 / 98 / 70 / 99 / 95 / 85 [522] ---> 75 / 92 / 80 / 99 / 95 / 85 [526]

Cram has issues getting in or setting up dueto its rather poor physical bulk. Its attack is often underutilised in any case, so council has opted to lower that in trade for a Defense boost so it has an easier time taking hits.

glasnow-mega.png

Banned ---> Unbanned

Meta has advanced itself far enough that we can give the mega horse a chance. We'll be keeping an eye on it if it turns out to be overwhelming, but it has earned a shot at the meta.

krookogatr.png

Moxie +Torrent ---> Intimidate + Torrent; Intimidate effects + activates again when it drops to 1/3 HP

Intimidate winds up being more useful than Moxie for Krookogatr as it allows it having an easier time getting into the field and setting up. While it can no longer snowball like before, it gains a niche as an offensive pivot.

absable.png
absable-megax.png

Dark Humour ---> No longer activates on Self-Targetting Status moves
Mega X Banned
---> Mega X Unbanned

Partially to fix a rather stretchy part of Absable's ability, but removing Physical Tail Glow from it allows Absable Mega X to safely be introduced into our metagame.

gastrocham.png
gastrocham-mega.png

:shellos:Shellos:shellos-east: ---> :gastrodon:Gastrodon:gastrodon-east:
Shellicham ---> Gastrocham
88 / 54 / 61 / 58 / 68 / 77 [406] ---> 97 / 71 / 71 / 86 / 78 / 77 [480]
88 / 94 / 61 / 98 / 68 / 97 [506] ---> 97 / 111 / 71 / 126 / 78 / 97 [580]
Chardybis: 2x Sp Atk ---> 1,5x Sp Atk

Shellicham was going nowhere. It simply was never going to hold up with Shellos' low stats and mediocre movepool. So we are doing something unprecedented here and evolving a fully-evolved fusion's component, which as a result, completely removes Shellicham from the mod. Gastrocham makes its big entrance with stats that help it stand out way better now, an expanded movepool and a worse ability to balanceout its stat gains. Along with it, come Mega Gastrocham (who is banned) and Shellitite.

genebro-galar.png

--->

Bug did not help Genebro at all and was rather keeping it behind for no real reason as it tends to not even run Bug STAB. Getting a type change to Steel makes it not only have a lot more switch opportunities, but also directly improves on its best set, as it likes to run Choice Scarf and now no longer needs much team supports for cleaning hazards before it can come in.

kingfezant.png

90 / 108 / 78 / 85 / 65 / 89 [515] ---> 90 / 108 / 78 / 75 / 65 / 89 [505]

Kingfezant had a little too much going on for it with how hard it hit while keeping defensive utility in its defensive type + Roost. This directly nerfs its best offensive sets, taking away a large chunk of its damage output as an attempt to balance it.

With that out of the way, council would also like to announce we will be having another tour at thus Saturday, 4 EST, where we will continue to test the balance of our current metagame and see where we could improve. This tour will include the balance patches in this post. hope to see you there!

Be sure to tell us how you think these will perform after these changes and what you think of them overall!

After a few weeks of playtesting, buffs and nerfs, we will be starting submissions again!

However, we have one announcement to makebefore that:

genebro-galar.png

Genebro is being moved to RUBL. Ultimately, its type change deemed too effective and made its Scarf sets exceedingly hard to deal with thanks to Download and its wide coverage, turning one wrong prediction into a loss. However, it functions decently as an UU pick at the moment, so we have decided its best for it to keep its current iteration and work well in UU than revert its type and make it mediocre in RU.

We do have something to make up for this loss, which will be includedat the end of this slate, alongside winners.

You may now submit.

Work!

:swsh/regieleki::swsh/pyukumuku:

DNA Donors: Regieleki / Pyukumuku
Fusion Name: Pyukeleki
New Types:

Base Stats: 70 / 80 / 90 / 80 / 90 / 105 [BST: 515] (+3 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +15 SpA / +0 SpD / +3 Spe)

Intended Role: Stallbreaker, trapper, offensive pivot, screens/HO lead, spinner
Role Justification: Does Heatran-like stuff with Thunder Cage, with the option of Volt Switch to either chip them down forever or use the free switch to pivot an ally in. Decently fat Unaware mon as well for stuff like Kommo-tot. Spins against Frossharp are kinda cool as its scared of Transistor boosted moves. Still forever sat on by Grounds and Electric immunes, but then reveal clutch SOAK man

:swsh/articuno-galar::swsh/tentacruel:
DNA Donors: Articuno-Galar / Tentacruel
Fusion Name: Articruel-Galar
New Types:

Base Stats: 85 / 80 / 75 / 105 / 110 / 100 [BST: 555] (+0 HP / +3 Atk / +0 Def / +3 SpA / +0 SpD / +3 Spe)

:swsh/necrozma::swsh/porygon:
DNA Donors: Necrozma / Porygon
Fusion Name: Porycrozma
New Types:

Base Stats: 83 / 97 / 87 / 107 / 83 / 79 [BST: 540] (+2 HP / +14 Atk / +2 Def / +1 SpA / +1 SpD / +20 Spe)

Photon Geyser, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Heat Wave, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Future Sight
Recover, Dragon Dance, Autotomize, Stealth Rock, Teleport, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: wallbreaker (physical/special/mixed), defensive pivot, offensive pivot, Stealth Rock
Role Justification: Photon Geyser is an awesome move that compliments this mon's versatility. Provides an interesting way of punishing Knock Off and U-Turn.

:swsh/manectric::swsh/mantine:
DNA Donors: Manectric / Mantine
Fusion Name: Manmane
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 60 / 70 / 95 / 100 / 90 [BST: 495] (+3 HP / +3 Atk / +5 Def / +3 SpA / +0 SpD / +3 Spe)
New Ability: Flare Boost = (Lightning Rod + Water Veil)
Notable Moves:
Hydro Pump/Surf/Scald, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Ice Beam
Roost, Defog, Switcheroo :P
Intended Role: special breaker
Role Justification: Flare Boost is cool. Roost lets it stay around for a while and lets it use some of the cool defensive utility Flare Boost has, such as taking status or knock offs. Switcheroo is also funny. Has all the coverage it wants.

:swsh/manectric-mega::swsh/mantine:
DNA Donors: Manectric / Mantine
Fusion Name: Mega Manmane
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 60 / 90 / 125 / 120 / 120 [BST: 595]
New Ability: Intimidate
Notable Moves:
Hydro Pump/Surf/Scald, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Ice Beam
Roost, Defog
Intended Role: defensive pivot
Role Justification: doesn't hit nearly as hard but is also mega fat. Sizeable eeltoad upgrade if you haven't used a mega slot.

:swsh/barraskewda::swsh/pyroar:
DNA Donors: Barraskewda / Pyroar
Fusion Name: Pyraskewda
New Types:

Base Stats: 73 / 115 / 66 / 84 / 58 / 141 [BST: 537] (+0 HP / +20 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Speedy = (Swift Swim + Moxie)
Ability Description: Boosts Speed after KOing an opponent.
Notable Moves:
Flip Turn, Liquidation, Close Combat, Drill Run, Psychic Fangs, Aqua Jet, Double-Edge, Throat Chop

Work Up lol
Intended Role: speed control
Role Justification: Fastest Pokemon in the meta to take on a strong speed control role. While stats seem scary on paper, the constant Water/Normal immunities will prevent it from easily making progress. Plays a Ninjacross-like role in RU.
