FWG core and TTar OU

This is a regular OU team, not pokebank, sorry for the prefix.. Anyway, I wanted to build a team with a FWG core and TTar. Ive been using this team to relative success, but of course it's always nice to recieve constructive criticism.. Also, this is my first post, been a long time forum lurker and have been playing pokemon since RBY but only competitively since DP..without further ado

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Lonely Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Flamethrower

OK so here is Tyranitar. I wanted to give assault vest a go on something and Tar has been a long time favorite poke of mine. With vest and sand stream his special defense is high enough that it doesnt require any EV investment. So instead I put the focus into hp and attack to make him hit as hard as possible and as specially bulky as possible. Crunch and Stone edge are obvious STABs, pursuit traps psychics and ghosts. Flamethrower hits unsuspecting ferrothorn, forretress, scizor on the switch in etc. I prefer flamethrower to fire blast because i only use it in super effective situations and the accuracy

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang
- Swords Dance

Defensive Garchomp may seem weird, and in fact it is. With rocky helm and rough skin this thing checks aegislash, talonflame and kangaskhan quite well. The Def and HP EVs allow him to take hits like a champ. This thing is so surprisingly bulky it even checks any fighting types that dont run ice punch. If I predict a switch Ill Swords dance and then spam the appropriate attack. EQ and Claw are obvious stabs and Fire fang rounds off coverage nice

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunder Wave

I like this set more than the scarf set personally. T wave and WOW on the same set is sort of redundant but I like running both because I can usually predict what the opponent will switch too and choose what status to hit it with, or volt switch out of course. Then hydro pump is there for when they switch in a ground type to check volt switch. I also run Specially defensive over defensive because garchomp takes care of most of the scary physical threats.

Delphox (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Psychic/ Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Grass Knot

What does Delphox say? lol sorry i had to. But the fire in my FWG core. Natural Special Bulk and typing lets me come in on lots of fire, bug, grass, figthing, steel pokes, force a switch and get a calm mind up. Flamethrower and Psychic are my stabs and Grass knot hits stupid gastrodons that think they can come in and lol at me.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sleep Powder
- Sludge Bomb
- Leech Seed

This thing is a beast and my grass part of the core. When it mega evolves it gets thick fat which mitigates the fire and ice weaknesses. Pretty simple. Sleep powder/leech seed where appropriate, force switches and attack with STABs when needed. Added bonus, if sunny day is still up from an opponents ninetails or charizard y, and they are already dead this guy can abuse chlorophyll if needed. doesnt happen often, but it has gotten me a couple of quick sleep powders.

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Surf
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse

My revenge killer. This thing hits like a truck. I prefer scarf to specs simply because I need this thing to revenge kill and most of the time it comes in on things that have already been siginifcantly weakened by garchomp. Flamethrower/dark pulse kills aegislash, surf kills talonflame, Dragon and dark STAB isnt bad anymore thanks to steel nerf. Though if i switch into thorn etc. Im going for flamethroer any lol

Any holes, or constructive criticism is appreciated

This is just a small change right now, but I recomend changing the EVs on your Rotom to 232 HP / 56 SpA / 220 Spe.
It just works better from my experiance. 220 Spe allows you to outspeed alot of things and cripple them with your status of choice, as well as allowing you to hit some thing slightly harder ( The extra SAtk EVs actually grab some notable KOs).

I'll be back later with more stuff :)

Yea ill give that a try, it makes sense considering rotom has a very useable SPATK stat, but do you run that with timid or modest?

Maybe it's a personal thing, but i just don 't feel like Delphox is an optimal choice. Possibly Talonflame or Bulky Arcanine would be a better choice?
Talonflame @ Leftovers/LO
Adamant
252 Attk/68 Speed/184 HP
-Bulk Up/Swords Dance
-Roost/Will-o-Wisp
-Brave Bird
-Flare Blitz

Gives you an easy late game clean-up goal, punches holes in teams, and is much more synergetic with the pokes on your team than Delphox. EV Spread lets you switch in on SR twice, outspeed Jolly Excadrill, and gives maximum damage.

Arcanine
name: Physically Defensive
move 1: Flare Blitz
move 2: Roar / Wild Charge / ExtremeSpeed
move 3: Morning Sun
move 4: Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
ability: Intimidate
item: Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
nature: Impish

Arcanine can deal with many physical attackers if you need something more defensive for your Fire type (I'd Recommend Heatran for rocks but...)

Also maybe you should find a way to add rocks to your team, FWG really needs rocks due to the constant forcing of switches. TTAR may not be the best idea since only one thing benefits and the rest kind of suffers from sand stream.

Bliss and special defensive friends wall your entire face.

maybe stealth rocks on chomp over fire fang? yea Im thinking about adding talonflame, I hate how overused it is but it is nice to have a physical fire which is what i need, because blissey does wall this team pretty hard and talonflame is a beast. and TTar is great at trapping ghosts and such so Im probably sticking with him.. team will be updated soon
