Man I feel stupid for asking this newbish but it's about EV's. Forgive me for it's been awhile since I've been doing this.

I was skimming through Serebii's D/P pokedex when I started to look through the stats and it made me think: Crobat's max speed (beneficial nature+) is listed as 394. Now does that assume max EV's? I know it means max IV's but would you need to max out it's EV's (252) to reach that or would those EV's make it go beyond 400?

Dumb question I know, but I haven't played too much in awhile and I'm trying to get back in when D/P is released and I want to doublecheck my info before placing EV's.
 
While smogon's D/P section isn't up at all, for the 1st / 2nd / 3rd gen Pokemon if you go to the Pokemon's information page you'll find a better breakdown of its stats with various levels of EVs.
 
ok thanks guys. I thought so, but I wanted to be sure so when I started calculating IV's and such, I'll know what numbers I want to it. Thanks again.
