Ok. I see there is another Lead Gallade from LordBerserker, but I also have an idea about it. See:

Feel free to comment or correct me.

Gallade @ Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Spd/252 Atk
Will-o-wisp/Taunt/Destiny Bond/Close Combat

The main thing to do is to burn some kind of physical sweeper and then Taunt incoming special. He attacks and you go to a Sash. Then send it to hell thanks to the Destiny Bond. CC is not to stopped by foe's Taunt. You have max. Speed and a high Attack, so you can take out a big guy. You get both Def drop, so it will be also easier to kill you. The other option for status is Toxic or T-Wave, 'cause Will-o-wisp gives a Special Attacker, but you have some kind of huge SD. There is also an option for Shadow Sneak instead Status, but your first turn should be forcing a switch or Taunting. Ok. Come on, your turn now. ;P

Azelf, thanks for your obstrusiveness.

Nitro, anybody can try, right?

Gallade

[SET]
Name: Lead
Move 1: Destiny Bond
Move 2: Taunt
Move 3: Will-o-wisp/Toxic/T-Wave/Shadow Sneak
Move 4: Close Combat
Item: Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Spd/252 Atk

Why this should be on site?:
- Can spread some status around opponents team
- Gives an element of surprise (Gallade? Oh, I should switch to my best Physical Wall!)
- Can send their best Sweeper to hell with Destiny Bond
- May kill an incoming Pokemon (many Pokes die to STAB Close Combat)

Additional comments:
- Use this spread or else you may not go down to Sash
- Choose the third move, nothing is sure there.

Teammates and counters:
- Oh, really, I don't know any teammate xD Help me :P
- Leech Seeders/Quick Attackers/Fake Out/Knock Off/amother weak attackers gets this Sash not work, so using Destiny Bond may be a hazard then. Also Taunters nearly wall this thing.

Come on, comment, correct, rate, your turn now. :P

Gallade isn't really fast enough to Destiny Bond most leads or sweepers with it's rather low speed. Also this thing loses it's whole purpose if WoW misses, so it's kind of unreliable.

However, if I was using this Gallade, I would T-Wave on the first turn so it it will always outspeed for the DB. If the pokemon is already slower, you can Taunt, and they either lose a turn or die to Gallade DB.

So this thing could work if used correctly.

I doubt this set's effectiveness because Gallade is generally better at attacking right off the bat. =(

Its good that your format is correct though.

Good luck to you, Nenloth.

I don't see it viable. See, there are a bunch of important leads that have no problems dealing with this Gallade set. For instance, Metagross, Azelf, Aerodactyl, Starmie, Jirachi if it flinches you, among others. These leads can perfectly take the WoW, Close Combat, Taunt, and retaliate back with powerful moves that will mostly 2HKO Gallade. Additionally, I believe the list of details that, according to you, make this set viable are not that incredible as to give this set a green card to go onsite. Take a look at the other Gallade lead that's in this same sub-forum, that's a lead that accomplishes a series of characteristics that make it warrant its own place on the site.

With this being said, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to vote against this.

You should have really posted this in my Lead Gallade thread but whatever...

Gallade can run a less attacking orianted set since it has quite a few support options. The main problem for me is that his fraility and medicore speed stops him from DBing what you need to DB, and using T-Wave means you would need to predict any faster switch ins if you wanted to KO them.

Don't get me worng, Gallades non attacking options are great ( I have Will-O-Wisp and Hypnosis as other moves it can use) but as Shiny Azelf said, Gallade is better off attacking at the start of the match.

Please update your OP with the proper format; don't make users look to the third post for it.

Anyway, this specific lead loses a ton of match-ups. Why in the world would I run this when Gallade, with the other set in CE, can beat nearly 3 times as many opposing leads reliably. Gallade is too frail to be adequately using Taunt in the lead slot, and it doesn't even have any entry hazards to set up so that it can function as an adequate suicide lead. Without Shadow Sneak, you now lose to anything faster and lack mid-game priority utility (which is a huge reason why the other lead set posted is so great). You're also giving up on Gallade's Psychic-type STAB, which gives Gallade a leg-up against Machamp, one of its greatest assets. Definitely not seeing this making it on-site.

There is already a Lead Gallade being written up and it outclasses this set in nearly every aspect. Many Stealth Rock leads can set them up before you taunt, and the slower ones can just opt to attack you instead. Also, having just Close Combat as your only attack nearly gives you a lack of coverage and the options you have listed simply aren't worth the in exchange of the coverage loss. Sorry but going to have to reject this.

Okay, right. I see your point. Now I think it's no sense to vote it on, so only if you have a positive opinion... Go for it, it will make me pleasure, but I don't hope it.
