Gamers - the worst consumers on the planet

Why are gamers the worst consumers on the planet?

It makes no sense to me, why the fuck would you be a "Fanboy" of one system and then pay out the other systems and it's games?
Why would you argue about "The PS3 version has 2 less FPS than the Xbox360 version" then go on and defend companies that actively go out of their way to screw you over and give you less features than the norm (at a higher price point) for more profit?

Why don't gamers want more features and benefits in their games? if I'm paying 60 dollars for a game that probably didn't even cost a few million to make, why is my sense of "Entitlement" such a bad thing?

Movies cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make, their market is now smaller than the gaming market and they sell their products for fucking $10.

Modern Warfare 2 - 40 million dollars spent on it by Activision (Budget hollywood movie)
$550 million opening week.
$69 dollar retail.

The Dark Knight - 185 million dollars spent.
$158 million opening week.
$16 dollars retail.
