[OVERVIEW]
•Gastrodon is basicaly the same Pokemon, he didn't learn any useful move but is more useful.
• Excellent ability which allows to boost his good Special Attack and to counter Rain.
• Better because Rain who are easy checking by Gastrodon are more common and he is one of the best counter to Thundurus-T.
• Good Defensive an Offensive typing with a great coverage and only one weakness, grass. Gastrodon outclasses other Water and Ground typing thanks to Storm Drain.
• Excellent HP and good Special Defense which allows to easy take Special hits.
• Really slow, He is outspeed by nearly all Pokemon.
• Is really vulnerable to Toxic, it's not hard to Toxic Gastrodon because of his really low speed.
• Gastrodon has a double Grass weakness, it means Ferrothorn can easy kill him.

• The set maximised the good Special bulk of Gastrodon which allows to take Special sweepers like Thundurus-T, Starmie, Heatran and Volcarona.
• Earthquake is the primery stab and allow to prevent Tyranitar, Volcarona and SubCM Jirachi to set-up on him but Earth Power can be used to take advantage of the boost of Storm Drain and touch harder Scizor.
• Scald is the second stab and has a good rate to burn a Pokemon who would switch on Gastrodon especialy Ferrothorn.
• Ice Beam letting to take care of Dragon while Toxic to threaten Rotom-W, Jellicent, Latios and Politoed.
• Recover for increase the survivability.
• EVs maximise the Special bulk of Gastrodon.
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
• A physical oriented EVs spread can be used for better take physical threats but it reduices Gastrodon's ability to take Special hits.
• More EVs in Special Attack can be used for have more offensive power but also reduices the ability to take Special hits.
• HP Fire can be used for Ferrothorn but he isn't always OHKO while Ferrothorn can OHKO Gastrodon with Power Whip.

• Surf is the primary move which have a great power

• Ice Beam gives an excellent coverage and beats Dragons.
• Recover allows to increase the survivably but HP Grass can be used for another Gastrodon and Rotom-W.
• The Choice Spec gives more power but The Life Orb gives the ability to Switch moves.
• The EVs spread allows to resist to 2 Shadow Ball from Timid Gengar LO.
