Mechanics Gen 3 OHKO moves do damage equal to the target's HP

What type of bug are you reporting? Mechanics

What is the bug?
In Gen 3 (and only Gen 3), OHKO moves are impacted by an oversight where they do a fixed amount of damage equal to the target's HP stat. While in most cases this oversight is unnoticeable, if the target has a substitute and an HP stat lower than the substitute, then the substitute will not break and will be dealt an amount of damage equal to the Pokemon's current HP stat. This oversight is not currently accounted for in PS!.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?

Would it be possible for you to test something? In your cartridge footage, the Substitute activation message appears before the OHKO message.
In Generation 9, the "Substitute fainted" message appears after the OHKO message.
Could you check the message order when the Substitute faints in Generation 3?
