Gen 5 OU team-Ozai and Friends!

Hey there, folks! EchoSierra here, with one of my first teams. I've spent a lot of time working on this team, and I always use Infernape. But, for whatever reason, I'm just never satisfied with it. My biggest problem is finding pokemon that get good synergy with Physically-based Mix Infernape. Here's what I have so far, tell me what you think! =3

Itachi

Mienshao@Life Orb
Regenerator
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
-Fake Out
-Taunt
-Hi Jump Kick
-U-turn

I use Itachi as my lead-in to taunt other pokemon and prevent them from setting up entry hazards. I always use Fake Out to start, just to get that little bit of damage in and break any Focus Sashes. After that, i just comes down to a little bit of experience. If it's a pokemon that I know is gonna try to set up (ie NP Ninetales or Ferrothorn) I follow up with Taunt. After that i pretty much spam Hi jump kick until one of us is dead. If I know it's a bad match-up, I'll use U-turn to switch to Haxorus and finish it off.

Ozai

Infernape@Life Orb
Iron Fist
252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spd
-Close Combat
-Overheat
-Fake Out
-Thunderpunch

This is just your standard Physical MixApe, so I won't go into too much detail with him. The only thing I changed that I really like is Fake Out. I can't count how many times Fake Out has saved my butt, giving Ozai another turn to live and just enough damage to put his opponent over the edge.

Knox

Forretress@Leftovers
Sturdy
252 HP/176 Def/80 SpD
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic Spikes
-Gyro Ball
-Rapid Spin

Knox serves several purposes, being my physical wall, hazard dropper, and rapid spinner. I know that's probably too much to put on one pokemon, but there wasn't a lot I could do, since I've yet to find a pokemon that can wall physical and special without a whole lot of set up. I also prefer Stealth Rock to Spikes, since it encompasses more pokemon than spikes, and lets me get all my entry hazards out a few turns faster.

Pringles

Jellicent@Leftovers
Water Absorb
252 HP/4 Def/252 SpD
-Scald
-Will-O-Wisp
-Recover
-Energy Ball

Pringles serves as the exact opposite of Knox, stopping rapid spinners and walling special attackers. Pringles also helps protect Ozai, absorbing al water attacks and then hitting back with Energy Ball and Scald. Recover and Will-O-Wisp also let it act as a stall breaker, and I admit that I find a bit of enjoyment watching people try to kill him as they slowly burn away.

Amoray

Eelektross@Leftovers
Levitate
252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SpD
-Thunderbolt
-Flamethrower
-Acid Spray
-HP Ice

Amoray acts as my Special Sweeper, in tandem with Ozai's wall-busting physical sweep. He also helps keep Ozai alive much the same way Pringles does, levitating over Earthquakes and the like, then hitting back with HP Ice. Acid Spray isn't much on it's own, but it's secondary effect always lowers the opponents special defense by two stages, giving Amoray a lot of potential for sweeping.

Riptor

Haxorus@Choice Scarf
Mold Breaker
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Dual Chop

I freaking love this guy. In almost all my battles, it's either Ozai or Riptor that end up winning it for me. Riptor here serves as my revenge killer, taking out almost anything that gets in its way with Outrage. Mold Breaker makes sure that levitation folks can't get away from EQ, with Brick Break or Rock Slide taking care of Flying-types for Ozai (plus Ice-types, of course). Finally, Dual Chop serves as my more realiable STAB, letting Riptor also act as a pseudo-wall breaker, since Dual Chop rips right through Substitute.

So there you have it. That's the team I've come up with to compliment my favorite pokemon, Infernape. I hope you guys enjoy it, and feel free to give me any advice about changing my team for the better (just don't ask me to get rid of Infernape, I want him to play as big a part as possible.)
