Well this is my first time making an actual wifi team and had a hard time picking guys to do which job and such. Ive ever only played gen 4 on shoddy and it seems that things are much different now with abilities and such so any advice/criticism would be great. Really want this to work.
My team
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First Member: Lead
Ambipom @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252Atk/4Spd/252Spe
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -Spa)
-Fake Out
-U-turn
-Taunt
-Ankle Sweep/Low Kick
Ive always liked/used Ambipom leads because Ive always liked the play style of fake out into a taunt or u-turn depending on my opponents. I chose ankle sweep/Low Kick because it seems to catch lot of Tyranitar leads by surprise. Fake out combined with technician and silk scarf is just way to good to pass up and can sometimes cause really heavy damage to opposing leads. Not much to say about him except for I really enjoy using him as a lead
.
Second Member: Physical Wall/Rocks
Swampert @Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Beam
~ Stealth Rock
~ Roar/Boiling Water
Ive always used Swampert as my physical wall. Im aware he has no self healing movies, but he has many other traits that make up for it. He has alot of resistances and is only weakened to one type of attacker x4 which should not be a problem if played well. I like to bring him out early for the stealth rock and as soon as my opponent attempts to switch, i roar the incoming pokemon for it will most likely be a grass type. Ice beam is for taking out dragons or Gliscor if I predict a switch and EQ is a great stab for hitting everything else. The only this i cant decide on is Roar or Boiling water. Both are great and Swampert benefits from the stab on boiling water not to mention the high chance of burn. He goes great with wish support in which i have added later in my team.
Third Member
Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 4HP/252Atk/252Spee
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Spa)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Extremespeed
Swords Dance Lucario is probably my favorite member of the team. I usually bring him in as a revenge killer with Extremespeed or if i predict an outrage/dragon attack coming. If i see an outrage incoming, ill usually take the time to swords dance up and then proceed to sweep. After about two swords dances, this guy becomes really scary.
Fourth Member
Shanderaa @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252Spa/4Spd/252Spe
Nature: Modest (+Spa, - Atk)
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower
- Shadow ball
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power Ice/ Ground
I chose Shanderaa as my ghost type because Ive always liked the Ghost/Fire type combination. I chose to use a scarf so i could easily revenge kill if i have to and to outspeed other pokes that would be an enormous threat to my team. I could not decide on hidden power ice or ground because on one side, i can kill dragons/grounds/flyers with ice, but theres alot of things i cant hit at all if i dont have ground. Energy ball is to catch people by surprise and could not decide on the accuracy with fireblast/Flamethrower. I looked through all the ghost types and this one impressed me the most. Flashfire seems like a good partner with Lucario.

Dragonite@ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus (Dont want to use dream world ability)
EVs: 4Hp/252Spa/252Spe
Nature: Modest
- Roost
- Draco Meteor
- Agility
- Thunderbolt
OR
Mixed Attacker
Dragonite@ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus (Dont want to use dream world ability)
EVs: 56Atk/252SpA/200 Spe
Nature: Lax
- Thunder Punch
- Draco Meteor
- Roost
- Superpower
Probably my pokemon with my most worries. I did not no what the hell to do with this guy. I wanted a dragon on my team and could not for the life of me pick any good moves. I am willing to switch this guy with anyone you may suggest. I am more a fan of the first one so i could switch in to someone that Dragonite counters, proceed to agility on the switch and kill what ever comes in next because i outspeed them. Once again, i really dont no about this guy, any help would be appreciated.
FINAL MEMBER
Chansey @ Evolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252HP/252Def/4Spd
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic/Thunderwave
- Ice Beam/Flamethrower
I absolutely love having wish support on my team. I used Blissey all the time because i was able to sponge all spa attacks, wish on the switch and heal one of my pokemon. Im sure if Chansey was able to sponge specials anymore but the evolite should take care of this. Toxic is to stall at some moments in time which really helped me but im also thinking of using thunder wave for the switch. Cant really decide on flamethrower or ice beam really.
Well thats it. This is really my first time guys and if ive made any amaetuer mistakes please point them out and i will fix. Any suggestions would help me a shit load and thanks in advance.
