Do you miss when VGC was on the 3DS in the Alola region? Look no further than the throwback tour! Players will compete in a single elimination best of three style tournament where each game in the best of three is a different format of gen 7. Here's some more details on how this will work:
- The first game will shift every round. Round 1 it will be VGC 2017, then VGC 2018, then VGC 2019, and then it will loop back around to VGC 2017.
- The loser of game 1 will choose which of the other two formats they would like to play first.
- Players may only play one VGC 2019 game. The format defaults to Ultra Series, but players are welcome to play whichever of the three formats they wish if they agree.
- Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown.
- Replays will be required for all rounds
