Introduction
Hello everybody!it's me KvK600 back with another RTM this time featuring an ou balance team with clawitzer,do let me know if there are any suggestions to improve the team or if i missed something important
Let's get right into it
Team Building Process
I was just scrolling through the tier lists looking for a fun mon which can be used successfully in ou and clawitzer caught my eye with its mega launcher ability, this thing hits pretty damn hard and is quite difficult to switch into due to terrain pulse
I quickly decided to build a team around it and hence it came to be
The Team

https://pokepast.es/2f50eb3a4a06fe0d (The PokePaste)
1)
Tapu Koko @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Electric Surge
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- U-turn
- Roost
I decided to use tapu koko on this team as it is a nice offensive pivot being able to check a lot of threats/flying types and provides electric terrain for clawitzer to bait in and KO bulky waters like toxapex and a good swap in to corviknight as well as a fast mon that can take out Weakened mons like tapu lele, garchomp etc.
2)
Clawitzer @ Life Orb
Ability: Mega Launcher
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 188 HP / 252 SpA / 68 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse
- Water Pulse
- Terrain Pulse
Next up is the star of the team aka clawitzer, its my primary wall breaker being able to deal tons of damage to opposing mons and with the help of elec terrain boosted terrain pulse it is able to bait in and ohko toxapex and friends, the speed is to outspeed 0 speed corviknight letting clawitzer to fire off a powerful water pulse or straight up ohko with terrain pulse which opens up Dragonite
3)
Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dual Wingbeat
- Earthquake
- Roost
This is a standard dragonite set which can sweep late game once corviknight has been eliminated, Max speed with Jolly outspeeds mons like zeraora, dragapult at +1
Dragonite is just a fantastic pokemon in general providing defensive utility in swapping into heatran and volcarona with ease when multiscale is intact
4)
Aegislash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 224 HP / 68 Atk / 152 SpA / 64 Spe
Modest Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak
Next up I needed a strong special attacker that can fire off shadow balls freely due to the lack of resists/immunities in the tier
I chose aegislash over dragapult as it provides clean utility in checking tapu lele and urshifu RS
The speed is to outspeed 0 speed corviknight and anything that tries to creep that
Near max hp to be as bulky as possible
Shadow sneak is ran to kill a Weakened dragapult, close combat baits in blissey and obliterates it opening up clawitzer to freely spam its moves
5)
Mandibuzz @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 92 Def / 152 SpD / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Defog
- U-turn
I needed a defogger that can safely swap into dragapults strong shadow ball and Mandibuzz fitted the role beautifully, on top of being a pivot and a defogger it is able to threaten set up sweepers due to foul play which makes it..not completely passive and in general is a good pokmon being able to sponge a lot of different hits
6)
Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Toxic
Last but not least The king of OU lando t himself
This mon is just absolutely fantastic
Provides stealth rock, checks ground types alleviating pressure from Mandibuzz
I needed a stealth rocker that could check opposing ground types which can open up koko
Weaknesses
1)
This mon is a pain in the ass to deal with Once aegi is gone
It comes in and gets a kill
2)
Same thing as lele except even more threatening due to the team having no reliable ice resist except Aegislash
Comes in and gets a kill
3)
Weavile is very threatening for the team
The only way u can kill it with is tapu koko which needs to be healthy
Final Thoughts
Overall,I feel like this team is very good and fun to use
Obviously it does have its fair share of Weaknesses of which are very common but still its able to consistently perform
Thank you everybody for reading through this fully and please do let me know if you have any suggestions to improve the team
That's all I've got this week cya next time folks!
