SS OU Gen 8 OU Team, Offensive

Hey Dudes and Dudettes,

After a few days of using sample teams and having some OU matches i made my first own team. It is meant to be offensive and i wanted to make use of mew in it.

Baby Blue (Mew) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 52 Def / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Will-O-Wisp
- Earthquake
- Soft-Boiled

I got this handy utility Mew. Meant to setup rocks and depending on the enemy it has willo wisp to cripple any physical attacker it meets and earthquake as a way to check some of the threats i was not able to hit that effectively before.

Rillaboom @ Life Orb
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- Superpower

Here is my handy Rillaboom, it sety terrain on entry and is able to handle a lot of threats and break some walls for later. +2 Glide basically KOs on effective hits and on some neutral ones aswell. Knock off allows to punish some switch ins like zapdos or other duty boots users. Superpower OHKOs or 2HKOs the steel type threats.
with Jolly it can outspeed modest kyurem, many heatrans and zapdos

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam

Gengar is my alternative Wallbreaker. Shadow ball hits lots of things well, and dazzling gleam hits fighting, dragon and dark typings. Substitute allows for reliable set ups from time to time.

Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Merciless
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Haze
- Toxic
- Recover

Well, its toxapex. I mostly use it as a defensive pivot. Scald is good at hitting landorus and nidoking, and if lucky can even burn and cripple threats like garchomp. Haze is a tool to stop threats from just setting up in my face, like dragonite. Toxic allows for some pressure on threats that tend to dodge away. Rocky helmet helps with u turn users like dragapult and punishes kartana and rillaboom.

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Roost

Dragonite. Always loved it and always will. Multiscale and duty boots allow for reliable set ups even against most effective hitters. Using ice punch and earthquake it can cover dragon flying grass ground electro fire poison and rock covering the majority of types and many dual typings. Mostly used after rillaboom and gengar got rid of any threats it can not reliably handle, or weakened them to a good degree.

Scizor @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost

Scizor is my finisher and emergency mon. It is set up pretty defensively and can take a hit pretty well. Bullet punch allows for taking out most weakened targets that are left and hits very hard with technician. U turn is a good tool to cover some mons and allow for quick switches, due to the lower speed most hitters will outspeed scizor in that case allowing it to tank the hit for its more offensively geared friends.
