-----Overview-----
We have all seen Pokemon with gender differences. Perhaps you've mistook a female Hippowdon for a shiny, or wished your female Frillish grew up to have a mustache. Why? What advantage in life does having a heart-shaped tail or longer whiskers give you? In this proposed article, you are about to find out.
The gender differences explained would be that of Pikachu's, Frillish/Jellicent's, Pyroar's, Camperupt's, and Hippowdon's gender differences.
-----Summary:-----
Pikachu: Heart-shaped tail is cuter, therefor increasing the chances of being caught. Males are more aggressive and rebellious, and so don't have this modification.
Frillish Line: Pringles sued Game Freak for the use of their signature mustache- it was going to be on all Jellicent, but they lost the case. Exploiting a legal loophole, they kept it on all Male Jellicent.
Pyroar: Females, similar to real lions, do most of the hunting. Mostly feeding on Pidgeots, the evolved their manestyle to blend in. The males just like to be pretty.
Camerupt: Although not obvious, the female has bigger humps. What does this mean? Even more stuff going boom!
Also, Hump Day reference.
Meowstic: WIP
Example Paragraph:
Once upon a time, the majestic Pyroar all looked the same. The males had large, poofy manes- and the females did too. It wasn't much of a problem for the males, as they mostly laid around and looked imposing, but it was rather cumbersome for the lady Pyroar, who did all the hard work. They struggled to catch Pidgeys and Fletchlings- which weren't exactly easy prey. But eventually, a baby Litleo was born with a smaller mane, and quickly became a hunting prodigy. Mother Nature (Xerneas?) caught on, and eventually, most girl Pyroars had a thin, flowing mane that resembled Pidgeot's head feathers. The not-so-smart Pidgey mistake it for a real Pidgeot, and- voila! Dinner was served.
