Generation 6 Bulky Offense Needs help (Currently ranked 1895 on PS)*

This has been a pretty solid team so far if played correctly, but of course still has its flaws. I can win usually four or five games before I run into a team that has an overall advantage against this team. I am posting this team not to brag about its play, but to ask for help finding better teammates to bring up its win to lose ratio. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

Good lead with intimidate and u-turn to provide momentum. Intimidate and STAB earthquake provide the ultimate counter to aegislash, and can act as an awesome scouter and revenge killer. Always liked the idea of leading with something that can bring momentum straight off the bat. Stone edge has helped against Talonflame many times, same for Suupoerpower and pokemon like Chansey and Ferrothorn. If the opponent lead with a pokemon i believe is going to attack, i almost always switch to rotom-w or skarm depending on the type of attack.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt

Great switch in to landorus-t covering his weaknesses. Can tank hits from many special attackers and provide thunder wave support to increase the effect of volt turn with landorus. Thunderbolt has proven helpful for attacking if i don't want to rely on a move that forces me to switch in volt switch. Chose the special defensive set to counter greninja which causes this team problems. Pain split seems fit for this set but the other 4 moves all have their uses as well and I don’t always get around to uing pain split when its on due to rotom-w’s slower speed with no investment. Thunderwave has proven very useful so far as the opponent usually predicts WoW and goes into a counter that thunder wave can completely cripple.

Skarmory (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Defog
- Roost
- Whirlwind

Defog user of the team that can reliably clear the field on most physical attackers. After this is done (or beforehand if appropriate), lay stealth rocks down. Whirlwind for those who try to setup on this set, and rocky helmet due to lack of attacking move and kangaskhan. Roost obviously. Stealth rock and defog on the same set might seem odd but skarm gets so many opportunities to switch in thanks to his high defenses, especially if hes being switched into straight from landorus-t intimidating the opponents pokemon. Brave bird seems necessary, but every time i find myself running it i wish i had whirlwind instead so idk.

Conkeldurr (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

Assault vest makes this thing a tank. Mach punch for some priority. Drain punch for recovery, ice punch for glister and dragons and poison jab for fairies. Much needed to take care of bliss, escadrill and tyranitar counter. Conkeldurr shows up some games and is kind of a waste of space the other games, just don’t know what id replace him with, as he can very very easy to switch in due to the spdef increase.

Volcarona @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain

Another sweeper this time on the special side to keep the opponent on their toes. Pretty self explanatory. Always pretty reliable and destroys lead klefkis with lum and fiery dance (win). And aegislash (double win). Giga drain is needed to get past rotom-w, gastrodon politoed and rare swampert and a few other bulky waters, while also providing a way of recovery.

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Energy Ball

Wanted to use a mega and so far this thing has proven its worth. Its high speed and special attack can destroy a lot of things, and not much can safely switch into its attacks unless they are immune or resisted. Been a great late game poke to clean up whatever volcarona could not. Energy ball has helped against the many rotor-w's that have been going around.

Currently talonflame obliterates your entire team given the chance to set up, and most of it without setting up, so I'd recommend Physically Defensive Washtom > Your current set. It is one the few sure fire counters to talonflame.

Rotom-W @ Lum Berry/Chesto Berry (I forget which one is more useful)
Bold
252hp 220def 36spe
-Volt Switch
-Hydro Pump
-Rest
-Will-o-Wisp/Thunder Wave

Next, since conk is already using a vest, I'd recommend simply switching it to the iron fist variant.

Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Adamant
Iron Fist
120hp 252atk 136sdef
-Mach Punch
-Drain Punch
-Ice Punch
-ThunderPunch

Well, at least that set is what I'd run.

Good luck with your team.

Yeah Talonflame has been annoying and that Conkeldurr set seems like a nice choice that I will be trying out. Thank you for your input.

If you need an assault vest user I recommend switching in goodra for it. Goodra can easily take even a specs hydreigons draco meteor and survive with assault vest without any investment in SDef. And its dragon typing allows it some great resistances against other things which conkeldurr really does not. A bulky special attacking goodra with assault vest does wonders.

Heres my goodra, its got a pretty good coverage and it takes special attacks like a boss.
Goodra (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk
Sassy Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Wave

Again Talonflame still runs through this team. Sure Rotom and Lando can switch in, but they can only take a few hits thanks to their EV spreads. I would keep Lando as it is because the scarf utility is vital. For Rotom-W, shift all those specially defensive EV's to defense so you tank Brave Birds all day. I would take Thunderbolt out for Rest and leftovers out for chesto berry. Also Genesect will get the sp atk boost which isn't as threatening for Rotom
