Skynet ___King Kong_______Mothra_____Leviathan___Behemoth____Mr. Hyde
Deep in the labs of game freak, horrific experiments were done to innocent creatures. A Kabutops coated in metal, devoid of all emotion. A Timbur pumped full of steroids until not even solid concrete could stop it. A freakish Pinsir with wings. A jellyfish that controls fire and water. A beast immune to fire with poison jaws and a poor, poor quilladin who was genetically engineered to be the pokemon equivalent of a tank. All of them cover each other's weaknesses well. They have gotten me to a ranking of 2.5k on pokemon showdown without any trouble whatsoever.
Let's break it up.
Scout/Mixed Sweeper

Skynet (Genesect) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
- Explosion
- Iron Head
A robotic bug, speeding around wreaking havoc at high speeds, and in a blink it's gone. Genesect works as both a sweeper and a scout, U-turning away from threats and demolishing pokemon in its wake.
Flamethrower lets it deal with steel types bar heatran, and bug types such as other genesect (which it outspeeds due to scarf), scizor, and forretress. U-Turn works as great STAB and lets it do its scouting job properly, while shutting down lead smeargle by switching into chesnaught to avoid spore. Iron Head takes down fairies and has that godly flinch chance, causing many an instant 2HKO. Explosion is a bit of a filler moveslot, but if Skynet senses an extreme threat to the team, it can blow up`, taking down its foe with it. However, Skynet's mainframe processor isn't built for bulkiness, and is punished the ground under its feet with spikes. Also, many common threats can take it out, even Mega Mawile's sucker punch.
Bulky Physical Sweeper

King Kong (Conkeldurr) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Knock Off
A mighty ape with enormous concrete pillars, bullets bouncing off its tough hide. One punch destroys the king of the beasts, Tyranitar, and heals up any damage it may have taken.
Assault Vest and Knock Off are the main selling points of this set. With them, Conk can freely switch into common threats like Rotom-W, and brave the fires of Will-O-Wisp with an attack boost and some nice recovery. Knock Off can also throw off Toxic Orb Gliscors that try to switch in, and can shut down ChestoRest Rotom-W. With Mach Punch, Conkeldurr can easily pick off threats that it can't quite OHKO. The mighty ape's only downfall is its abysmal speed, and the fact that it gets stopped cold by Mega Mawile.
Fast Physical Sweeper

Mothra (Pinsir) @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Quick Attack
- Return
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
When some people see a pinsir in OU, they just laugh. Then they watch it sprout wings and completely slaughter them, ripping out their [CENSORED DUE TO INSANE VIOLENCE]. Mega Pinsir has a Monstrous base 155 attack, and a not too shabby base 105 speed. Also, it has great bulk, especially physically. Quick Attack itself can pulverize any threat. Return is almost a guaranteed 2HKO against anything that doesn't resist it. Close Combat is to get rid of those that actually DO resist Return, and Swords Dance is to boost up attack. Mothra finds difficulty breaking through the likes of Greninja and Aegislash. Knock Off can be run to combat aegislash if you want to forgo Close Combat. Hyper cutter is there for normal pinsir so it can switch in on intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Gyrados without losing some of its precious attack. Overall, Pinsir-Mega is a very threatening sweeper and finds its place on my team.
And now, my FWG core.
Physical Wall

Mr. Hyde (Chesnaught) @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Wood Hammer
Special Wall/Phazer

Behemoth (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
Physical Wall/Crippler

Leviathan (Jellicent) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Bold Nature
- Will-o-wisp
- Taunt
- Scald
- Recover
These three. A mutant, a Jellyfish, and a Lava Bug, can resist almost every type in the spectrum, and do some decent damage back as well as cripple a few. Chesnaught is a very underrated pokemon. It's a great spiker and legitimate Gengar counter (Is immune to both of its stabs with bulletproof) and can hit way harder than you'd think with Wood Hammer. Chesnaught can suck your life force with Leech Seed, and make you regret hitting it with Spiky Shield. It can also switch into ground attacks that Heatran fears, and electric attacks that jellicent fears, as well as shadow ball and any bomb attack. Synthesis and Hammer arm can be run if you want to replace wood hammer and spiky shield, but I honestly don't think it's worth it.
Heatran can safely switch into any fire attack aimed at Chesnaught such as genesect's flamethrower, and hit back with a crippling toxic or a Lava Plume which also has a good chance of burn. Heatran can also phase out threats like Dragon Dance gyrados with Roar, and do critical damage to Megazard-Y, Volcarona, and T-Flame. Speaking of T-flame, Heatran counters it perfectly! It's immune to Flare Blitz and resists Brave Bird, as well as being able to roar out swords dance or bulk up variants, and set up Stealth Rock for some good damage. Overall, Heatran is an all-purpose pokemon that finds itself a nice slot on my team.
Jellicent is a rough, tough jellyfish with excellent defenses that does decent damage with scald and cripples with Will-O-Wisp. Surprisingly, Jellicent does NOT fear Ferrothorn, as it can taunt it, burn it, and switch to Heatran. Jellicent can also heal up with recover and water absorb, increasing its longevity to enormous standards. Overall, this is an excellent defensive core that I have used with great sucess.
POSSIBLE THREATS TO TEAM:
Mandibuzz: I don't have a reliable way to deal with it at the moment
Mawile-Mega: Its sucker punch does serious damage to almost everything on my team, and almost nothing can hit back.
