and in return he will deafeat the attaker .
* protect to scout for mixed attakers .
* shandow ball to deal with psychic types.
* and destiny bond to get an extra KO .

with the right prediction thise set can realy be usable

Counter Gengar kind of ruins one of Gengar's greatest niches as being an offensive spinblocker and a revenge killer, and it's completely helpless against special attackers that resist Shadow Ball. Gengar shouldn't be a suicide lead like that, it wastes its potential. This is more OO material, if that.
