Hi!
I have come up with an inventive streagy involving the use of Shed Shell the item to avoid being trapped by the ferocious little mole known as Dugtrio! To display the use of this item, I have decided to post this Rate My Team so that others may learn how I have used it to success!
Mew @ Shed Shell
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
-Dazzling Gleam
I chose Mew because of the obvious choice of having accessibility to every move, so it makes a great lead support! Dazzling Gleam was chosen to counter Grimmsnarl along with taunt for the screens. I picked toxic spikes so I could use venoshock with my Seismitoad!
Kyurem @ Shed Shell
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power
- Freeze-Dry
My Kyurem was chosen so I could have some main ice power on my team. So far I have gotten lucky and he has really done his job well as a special power house. My freeze-dry is countering a lot of current Seismitoads and Keldeo's on the field, so I find that personally valuable!
Cinderace @ Shed Shell
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Court Change
- Pyro Ball
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
My team needed a physical speed demon, a switch in for the steel type domination of Ferrothorn and Corviknight! I like the court change idea incase my Mew is ever countered, and not having to worry about stealth rocks is a added bonus. U-turn for a quick switch and Pyro Ball just offers so much damage it's crazy.
Zeraora @ Shed Shell
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Play Rough
With the release of Pokemon home, this pokemon was a personal choice for me to be interested in, but then I didn't realize that Zeraora actually has good type coverage. Not to mention a crazy speed stat that is outspeeding even dragapult and then shuts it down with Play rough. I don't have much more to say about Zeraora other than, that's a lot of damage!
Seismitoad @ Shed Shell
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Venoshock
- Toxic
My defensive Seimitoad set is to shut down those pesky electric types and take advantage of the toxic spikes I would lay out earlier. If for whatever reason I don't get my spikes up, I use toxic first on my opponents, and if they are steel, I bring in the Cinderace!
Bisharp @ Shed Shell
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
Bisharp was my final choice because I just felt like having more dark power felt nice. Knock off feels great when I'm unsure of the situation, because I have learned items help so much so I figured if I can take that advantage away, I have a better chance. I run swords dance to set up as well when I know Im in a safe situation, and go for the sweep if the opponent can't counter me. Good counter for Togekiss with the Iron Head!
Feel free to use these suggestions in your own teams, thanks for listening!
