GHIII Stickers = devil

So, I've had Guitar Hero III for the Wii for a while. After I opened it way back in Christmas, I noticed the awesome skull stickers that go on the keys so I put them on. They were kind of weird feeling but overall were actually helpful because it made sliding up and down the keys a lot easier.

... well, eventually this nice slidey effect began to wear off as 2 of the stickers began peeling off, and the stickiness from the stickers are now stuck on the actual keys AND I CAN'T GET IT OFF!!!

I've tried alcohol; I've tried water; and I've tried a lot of scrubbing, but the stickiness hasn't left the keys and trust me, it is HARD to play with sticky keys.

Point of telling you all is:
1.) A Warning to anyone that has GHIII and ever thinks about those key stickers and...
2.) Hopefully a solution to clean my keys so they are more functionable then they currently are. I really want to play badly, but I get so pissed off every time I try and fail.
 
Speak of the damn devil I just removed the stickers last night, First I peeled them off and there was a residue left with my mom got off with pam(dont know why it works) then i just cleaned them a bit more and almost good as new.
 
i did the same thing, i used nail polish remover and alot of scrubbing but it faded the paint, down the side because i slipped and it dripped down the side (thats what she said). If you dont mind the paint fading a bit, and you are careful as to not spill it, you'll be fine.
 
After trying alcohol again and a bit more scrubbing, I was finally able to remove most of the residue. I'm just glad I can play Guitar Hero again, but unfortunately, I suck at the game now.
