Banned deucer.
Overview
########

  • Access to Stealth Rock.
  • Great physical Attack.
  • Terrifying defensive stats.
  • Good ability in Sturdy.
  • Good counter to common physical attackers such as Scyther and Dodrio.
  • Bad defensive typing with a lot of weaknesses.
  • Low Speed.
  • Faces heavy competition from the likes of Golem, but its niche lies in its high physical Attack and Defense.

Stealth Rock
########
name: Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Rock Blast
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Explosion
ability: Sturdy
item: Leftovers / Air Balloon
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
nature: Impish

Moves
========

  • Stealth Rock hurts opponents on the switch-in, and limits switches.
  • Rock Blast can be used for breaking through Substitutes and Focus Sashes.
  • Earthquake provides good coverage on the overall, hitting Steel-types as main goal, that resist Gigalith's main STAB attack.
  • Explosion has bad coverage, but grants terrifying base power, being able to deal great damage to anything that does not have a resistance against it.

Set Details
========

  • Sturdy prevents Gigalith from being OHKOed in most situations, and mostly guarantees it to set up a Stealth Rock.
  • Leftovers can be used for passive recovery, but Air Balloon is a good option that gives Gigalith a limited immunity to Ground-type attacks
  • The EVs invested maximize Gigalith's physical bulk along with an Impish nature, and also give its Attack stat a slightly low boost.

Usage Tips
========

  • Using this set in the lead position will provide the most utility, as this way Sturdy is kept intact and set up Stealth Rock as soon as possible.
  • If a Pokemon threatened by Gigalith is your opponent, set up Stealth Rock as Gigalith will force the switch mostly and allow it a free turn.
  • You should only use Explosion in a predicted Defog or Rapid Spin user, in order to prevent them from removing your entry hazards, as Gigalith has some useful resistances that will be useful throughout most of the battle.

Team Options
========

  • Sweepers that can take advantage of Stealth Rock up in order to KO theo opponent earlier, such as Sneasel and Scyther, will make good partners.
  • Pokemon that can beat up Gigalith's weaknesses such as Tangela and Rotom-Frost are particularly useful, as Gigalith cannot stand up to them successfully.
  • Spinblockers, such as Haunter, Misdreavus and Gourgeist, make good partners by keeping Stealth Rock up.
  • Pokemon that can take advantage of Defog's evasiveness drop, such as Purugly, are quite good too as they are capable of doing high damage to the opponent after.
  • Offensive partners that can beat weakened opponents from Explosion, such as Tauros, are pretty useful too to use alongside Gigalith.

Other Options
########
  • Stone Edge is an option for more power than Rock Blast, but is less accurate.
  • Superpower can be used for coverage, but lowers Gigalith's usefulness as it drops Gigalith's most useful base stats.
  • Iron Head is a weak option that could mainly only be used to hit Fairy-types such as Mr. Mime.
  • An offensive set with Autotomize is another option, but prevents Gigalith from using Stealth Rock, one of the main reason of its usage.
  • Toxic wears down Pokemon without cleric support or reliable recovery, limiting their staying power.

Checks & Counters
########

**Ground-types**: Powerful Ground-types, such as Torterra and Marowak, resist Gigalith's STAB and can easily beat up Gigalith after, and the latter one is capable of bypassing Sturdy.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types such as Tangela and Quilladin are able to tank Gigalith's hits and beat it with a STAB attack or stall it out.

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Poliwrath, Simipour, and Basculin can easily get rid of Gigalith with their powerful STAB attacks, and other Water-types such as Wartortle and Pelipper can remove Stealth Rock, though the latter one needs to watch out for Rock Blast.

**Taunt**: Taunt disallows Gigalith from doing its main job by preventing it from setting up Stealth Rock.

Moves
Give Stone Edge its own bullet point; separate it from Rock Blast. Infact, does it really deserve a slash :/ I would wait for a QC final opinion but I would personally just list it in the Moves/OO.

Team Options
Remove Dusknoir and mention Misdreavus and offensive Spinblocker such as Haunter who appreciates the Stealth Rocks.
Mention offensive partners such as Ursaring and Tauros who love it when walls are lowered down from Explosion for them to rip through teams.

'Pokemon that can take advantage of Defog's evasiveness drop, such as Purugly, are quite good too as they are capable of doing high damage to the opponent after.'
Don't think this line is really needed^

C&C needs some bumping up a bit :)
Mention Grass-Types and Water-Types in separate bullet points and give some examples

Added your suggestions except for the Defog part that actually is quite useful, thanks Darnell!

Overview

- Honestly, the pros and cons split isn't necessary, especially because many of the pros and cons flow better when paired together.
- It's lack of recovery and small movepool are hardly relevant to its role, so they really aren't worth mentioning. Instead, mention the reason to use Gigalith over Golem and Rampardos.
- It has more Attack and bulk than Golem, make note of that as the main distinguishing factor over Golem.
- Bastiodon isn't really relevant competition, they belong on different types of teams.
- It is also an excellent counter to common physical attacks, such as Scyther, Dodrio, and Purugly.
- What kind of teams does Gigalith work best in?

Stealth Rock Lead
########
- Rename this Stealth Rock, it doesn't HAVE to lead. Sometimes you want its bulk and typing to check and counter stuff like Purugly, Dodrio, Sneasel, and Scyther
- Stone Edge should be unslashed. Rock Blast has much more utility and the power difference isn't too significant.
- I would like to hear QC's thoughts on the EV spread. It does live Bonemerang and Superpower from Marowak and Adamant CB Rampardos after all (and needs to be hit 5 times from CB Torterra's Bullet Seed), but it also is considerably weaker. So the main question is: is Gigaith's niche its great physical bulk or greater power foremost? I think its bulk separates it from Rampardos and Golem, and Rampy also has more power as well, so the bulk ends up looking more relevant. But I have little experience with Gigalith, so thoughts?

Usage Tips
========
- One of the main reasons to lead with Gigalith is to keep its Sturdy intact. The other is to set up SR as soon as possible.
- Explosion should really only be used on a predicted switch to a Defog or Rapid Spin user, as otherwise Gigalith provides some really helpful resistances that you will want throughout most of the game.

Team Options
========
- You really should give some good examples of teammates
- Make sure the teammates work for the types of teams Gigalith thrives in

Other Options
########
- Autotomize is better than Rock Polish just to slightly reduce Grass Knot and Low Kick's BP against it

Checks & Counters
########
- Separate the Pokemon that threaten it. Water-types should receive a large note, with Poliwrath being able to either set up a Sub against it or Scald it and render it powerless, Basculin and Simipour from powering through it (the former can actually OHKO it with Mold Breaker, or flinch it with Waterfall), and Pelipper/Wartortle can Defog/spin against it.
- Grass-types can almost always tank hits from it and recover HP with Giga Drain, Serperior can even Taunt it, and many can put it to Sleep and prevent it from setting up Rocks at all.
- Hold off on Marowak and Torterra for now until we know if the EV spread is correct, but list them as powerful Ground-types that threaten Gigalith and resist its attacks outside of Explosion.

I have edited your suggestions correctly in the analysis, I hope.
