After getting swept by a Mega Gardevoir with a Geomancy Smeargle, I decided to make a "gimmick" team.

I decided to use mega diancie because it was a new mega I wanted to use and because it has great stats.

Then I added smeargle and whimsicott because they are standard on the type of team I want to use.

Then I added kyurem black to the mix because Spoilers: I ran shift gear on smeargle too and it really benefits from that.

Then I added crawdaunt and heatran because they benefit from smeargle too and heat ran can take the bullet punch that kills mega diancie and crawdaunt can take the heatran that kills mega diancie too.
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Hyper Beam
I chose mega diancie because it is better than mega gardevoir (in my opinion) because of its better defenses and magic bounce. Because of magic bounce it cannot be whirl winded or toxiced or t waved or leech seeded. I chose to run a special set so that I could run psyshock and hit both ends of the spectrum, and because I don't like diancie's physical move pool. Moonblast and psyschock are obvious for hard hitting coverage. HP fire is for scizor, ferro, and skarm. Hyper beam is for the laughs and because there was no better move :). Modest instead of timid because at +2 I will only be outsped by max speed timid choice scarfed electrode.
Smeargle @ Power Herb
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 156 Def / 100 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Geomancy
- Cotton Guard
- Baton Pass
- Shift Gear
Smeargle is for my baton passing needs. Geomancy, cotton guard, and baton pass for obvious reasons. Max speed and some bulk to get all my stat boosts. Shift gear is for the physical attackers on my team and in case an opposing poke uses bulldoze or something. Power herb is for geomancy, and own tempo is for confusion people. I am considering running magic coat somewhere because of taunters on teams, though that doesn't usually happen.
Whimsicott @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Memento
- Tailwind
- Encore
- Taunt
Whimsicott is my lead. Usually I taunt to stop other pokes from using taunt, tailwind to outspeed their priority (I'm looking at you, jolly Talonflame) and memento. The ev spread is to outspeed most priority and have some bulk. Focus sash is for bullet punch scizor and to live a hit. Encore is basically filler.
Kyurem-Black @ Leftovers
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Iron Head
- Stone Edge
- Fusion Bolt
This pokemon just loves shift gear. After +2 speed and +1 attack it can ohko almost anything. I went physical to take advantage of the gigantic attack. The moves are pretty standard so I won't explain those. Adamant because of the same reason I made diancie modest. Leftovers are basically so I can heal myself after a priority attack or something. I am open to taking this poke out and replacing it with something else.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Ancient Power
Heatran, like Mega Diancie, loves geomancy cotton guard combo. And it is very bulky even without investment. Leftovers is to heal from an aqua jet or something, Evs to maximize special attack and speed. Modest because of the same reason as diancie and KB. No attack because of foul play and confusion. My move set is standard except for ancient power. I chose ancient power because of the stat boost I could get and for filler. I am open to taking this poke out and replacing it with something else.
Crawdaunt @ Leftovers
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Crabhammer
- Brick Break
- Knock Off
I chose crawdaunt becauseit is awesome of the way it can take a bullet punch. It also loves shift gear doesn't outspeed everything at +2, but can take that stuff out with a +1 adaptability aqua jet (except greninja at full hp). You should know by now why it has leftovers, and its jolly for maximum speed. I chose brick break over superpower because I could not deal with the attack drop. Evs are standard and so is the moveset. I am open to taking this poke out and replacing it with something else.
