Glaceon (mini) QC [0/2]

he dropped -mz
[OVERVIEW]
It gets outclassed by Aurorus because of hail chip damage, 100% accuracy Blizzard and Aurorus’ ability to run a scarf set. It also has a terrible movepool which makes it near impossible to use in any way. However, being faster than Aurorus is a sweet bonus for Glaceon as it may be able to outspeed slower threats that Aurorus may not be able to kill.

[SET]
name: Choice Specs
move 1: Ice Beam
move 2: Hidden Power Fighting
move 3: Shadow Ball
move 4: Frost Breath
item: Choice Specs
ability: Ice Body
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This Glaceon set is meant to be used on possible Bulky Offense teams, if that. The main goal of this set is to hit hard and hope to get past one mon at least. Aurorus gets the job done here better than Glaceon ever could though. Scarfed Aurorus beats faster opponents much easier than Glaceon and is overall just a better mon if you need a good ice type because of it’s wider movepool and ability to hit water types. As well as being better at beating fast opponents, Aurorus also hits harder than Glaceon with its always-hitting Blizzard and hail chip damage

am check, feel free to implement what you like :) (comments in bold)

[OVERVIEW]
Due to its extremely low speed stat and below average movepool, Glaceon gets OHKOed by Primeape and Hitmonchan without being able to do anything. This part is pretty unnecessary, Aurorus, its biggest competition, suffers from the same problem It gets outclassed by Aurorus because of hail chip damage, 100% accuracy Blizzard and Aurorus’ ability to run a scarf set. I don't really like the way this is said but this is probably just me, I'd change the way it's said.

[SET]
Glaceon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 SpD Put SpA first, then SpD and Speed
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Frost Breath Ice Beam first, since it's usually what you'll use
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Ice Beam I'd put Shadow Ball here since Jelli and Froslass
are pretty prominent rn

- Shadow Ball Frost Breath here since u generally won't use it

[SET DETAILS]
This Glaceon set is going for All-Out-Attacking while possibly taking a hit or two. The max speed stat is to outspeed slower opponents that may not run max speed and be able to kill them before they get a chance to stop it. Frost Breath is used here with Ice Beam to eliminate Calm Mind users such as Oricorio-Sensu and Clefairy while Ice Beam is used for general stab for mons that may not boost their defenses. Lastly, the other moves chosen are mainly for coverage such as Shadow ball for Froslass. This part as a whole isn't good. You're supposed to explain what is the set's goal and explain why it's outclassed, not to explain what's the use of said move. I'd redo this part entirely.

It also has a terrible movepool which makes it near impossible to use in any way. (this is a bit too short for my tastes. being faster than aurorus is def smth you should mention, but you should also mention how its typing and bulk are worse than aurorus's alongside it not being as versatile and its terrible movepool.)

[SET COMMENTS]
This Glaceon set is meant to be used on Hyper Offense teams. (why specifically hyper offense? not like it's fast enough / it's bulky enough / it has actual stuff it can reliably switch into to preserve momentum.) The main goal of this set is to hit hard and hope to get past one mon at least. Aurorus gets the job done here better than Glaceon ever could though. Scarfed Aurorus beats opponents much easier than Glaceon and is overall just a better mon if you need a good ice type because of it’s wider movepool and ability to hit water types. (why are you mentioning scarf aurorus rather than specs? if you mean faster opponents, specify that.) (you should also mention blizzard hitting harder than ice beam bc of hail chip and how hail chip also wears down switch-ins.)
