Glastrier @ Choice Band
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Crunch

Glastrier recently dropped into PU and has already proven to be a strong and flexible offensive Pokemon. Its high Attack stat lets it break past bulky foes like Quagsire with Icicle Crash. Glastrier also has strong neutral coverage: Close Combat hits Steel-types like Aggron, High Horsepower is its best option against Qwilfish and avoids Close Combat's Defense drops, and Crunch 2HKOs Jellicent. However, a crippling weakness to Stealth Rock, its inability to 2HKO bulky Water-types like Poliwrath and Wishiwashi, and the prominence of faster Jellicent sets hinder Glastrier's viability. It appreciates Pokemon that can keep entry hazards off the field like Espeon and Charizard; in return, it threatens Steel- and Rock-types like Ferroseed and Gigalith. Grass-types like Whimsicott threaten the bulky Water-types that Glastrier struggles with while pivoting Glastrier in on Pokemon like Eldegoss. Glastrier is forced out by powerful Fighting- and Fire-types such as Gallade and Magmortar, so Pokemon that can switch into them like Palossand and Gigalith are heavily appreciated. They also provide entry hazards support to help wear down Glastrier's switch-ins.

The Wild Horse Pokemon has recently dropped into PU, and already has taken a spot as a strong and flexible offensive Pokemon. emphasize its raw strength with how it can muscle past fat foes like quag Close Combat gives it solid neutral coverage when combined with its STAB, hitting Steel-types like Togedemaru and Aggron. High Horsepower is Glastrier's best option against Qwilfish can mention how u can avoid CC drops w/ it too (honestly can move the solid neutral coverage bit further up or down to include all of the moves), while Crunch threatens Jellicent with a 2HKO. However, a crippling weakness to Stealth Rock and inability to hit bulky Water-types like Poliwrath and Wishiwashi very hard hinders its viability the horse is amazing and still does a fair amount of damage w/ CC can tone this down. As such, it appreciates Pokemon that can keep entry hazards off like Espeon and Charizard; in return, it threatens Steel- and Rock-types like Ferroseed and Gigalith. Electric-types like Jolteon can threaten out the bulky Water-types Glastrier struggles to break while bringing it in on their switch-ins like Eldegoss Jolteon feels like such a random mention, go w/ smth more relevant like ribombee and/or ninjask bringing it in on slower steels maybe, if you want to use the point w/ waters whimsi/gourg are prob better. Glastrier is often forced out by powerful Fighting- and Fire-types such as Gallade and Magmortar, so Pokemon that can switch into them like Palossand and Gigalith and heavily appreicated. They also provide entry hazards support to help Glastrier wear down its switchins. emphasize jellicent holding back glastrier more than the other bulky waters somewhere

Glastrier has recently dropped into PU (remove comma) and has already become proven to be a strong and flexible offensive Pokemon. Its high Attack stat and powerful STAB let it break past foes like lets it break past bulky foes like (Icicle Crash is not a particularly high BP move, and so I don't think "powerful STAB" is the correct word choice here) Quagsire with Icicle Crash. Close Combat hits Steel-types like Aggron. High Horsepower is Glastrier's best option against Qwilfish and avoids defense drops from Close Combat. Crunch threatens Jellicent with a 2HKO. All three of these moves give Glastrier strong neutral coverage. Glastrier also has strong neutral coverage: Close Combat hits Steel-types like Aggron, High Horsepower is its best option against Qwilfish and avoids Close Combat's Defense drops, and Crunch threatens Jellicent with a 2HKO. However, a crippling weakness to Stealth Rock, its inability to 2HKO bulky Water-types like Poliwrath and Wishiwashi, and the prominence of faster Jellicent sets hinder its Glastrier's viability. It appreciates Pokemon that can keep entry hazards off the field like Espeon and Charizard; in return, it threatens Steel- and Rock-types like Ferroseed and Gigalith. Grass-types like Whimsicott can threaten out the bulky Water-types that Glastrier struggles to break with while pivoting on their switch-ins Glastrier in on Pokemon like Eldegoss. Glastrier is forced out by powerful Fighting- and Fire-types such as Gallade and Magmortar, so Pokemon that can switch into them like Palossand and Gigalith are heavily appreciated. They also provide entry hazards support to help Glastrier wear down its Glastrier's switch-ins (add hyphen).
