[OVERVIEW]
Gliscor is one of the best Pokemon to break bulkier team archetypes like stall and balance. Gliscor's ability Poison Heal allows it to be immune to status effects when poisoned while also providing it with passive recovery, which is useful alongside reliable recovery in Roost. Since Gliscor's low Attack makes it unable to threaten many Pokemon, it needs to run Sword Dance in order to break through bulkier threats. Gliscor acts as a solid switch-in to common foes like Excadrill, Assault Vest Tornadus-T, Heatran, Magnezone, and Clefable that lack Ice coverage. Gliscor does, however, struggle to deal with faster Pokemon that can threaten to KO it, which includes Keldeo, Mega Metagross, and Weavile.

Moves
========
Swords Dance allows Gliscor to easily break through defensive cores while also becoming an immediate threat. Roost gives Gliscor a reliable method of healing, making it extremely hard to wear down, especially when paired with Poison Heal. Earthquake is Gliscor's strongest STAB move, hitting Pokemon like Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor for neutral damage and Heatran, Excadrill, and Bisharp for super effective damage. Facade is extremely strong when Gliscor is poisoned and is used to hit Pokemon that Earthquake cannot, which includes Flying-types like Tornadus-T and Zapdos and Pokemon with Levitate like Rotom-W and Latios. Ice Fang should be used if you feel like your team is weak to opposing Gliscor. Ice Fang is also able to hit Ground-types like Garchomp and Landorus-T and Dragon-types like Mega Altaria and Latios for super effective damage.
Set Details
========
56 Speed EVs allow Gliscor to outspeed Adamant Bisharp. This is important, as 248 HP EVs allow Gliscor to always avoid an OHKO from +2 Life Orb-boosted Sucker Punch from it. More Speed Investment could be run to outpace other Gliscor. The rest of the EVs are thrown into Special Defense to make Gliscor harder to revenge kill while also making moves like Scald from bulky Water-types and Draco Meteor from Latios do little damage. An alternative EV spread of 248 HP / 156 Atk / 48 SpD / 56 Spe with a Jolly nature allows Gliscor to outspeed Jolly Bisharp and Metagross before Mega Evolving. 156 Attack EVs ensure the 2HKO on physically defensive Clefable after a Swords Dance while also giving Gliscor a chance to OHKO Bisharp without a Swords Dance boost. 156 Attack EVs also give it an 87.5% chance to OHKO other Gliscor with Ice Fang. The rest of the EVs are thrown into Special Defense, which ensures that Gliscor is able to tank an Ice Beam from Leftovers Clefable.
Usage Tips
========
Without being poisoned, Gliscor will be unable to utilize Poison Heal and be susceptible to other status ailments, making activating Toxic Orb very important. This means you should avoid switching Gliscor in on Will-O-Wisp or Knock Off before its Toxic Orb is activated. Use Swords Dance on foes that pose no immediate threat to Gliscor, which includes Ferrothorn, Heatran, Assault Vest Tornadus-T, and Clefable lacking Ice Beam. Use Roost as a way to keep Gliscor healthy and out of range from the foe's attacks. Scout for Ice-type coverage moves like Hidden Power Ice from Tornadus-T, Ice Beam from Clefable, and Ice Fang from opposing Gliscor before sending in Gliscor to check them. Do factor in that Gliscor is able to take an Ice-type move from full if necessary.
Team Options
========
Gliscor can fit on any team archetype barring hyper offense. Gliscor is weak to Ice- and Water-types, so teammates such as Rotom-W, Slowbro, and Gastrodon pair well with it. Ferrothorn can also help Gliscor deal with Water- and Ice-types and provide Spikes, allowing Gliscor to take advantage of the switches it forces. Mega Latias is a great partner, as it's able to take on the likes of Keldeo and Mega Charizard Y, which both threaten Gliscor, while also appreciating Gliscor's ability to handle threats like Bisharp, Heatran, Clefable, and Mega Diancie and absorb status effects. Pokemon like Mega Metagross, Excadrill, Heatran, and Mega Scizor can help take on Ice Beam variants of Clefable and appreciate Gliscor's ability to take on non-Ice Beam variants of Clefable like Flamethrower sets.

Other Options
=============
Taunt is a viable option to prevent setup, recovery, phazing moves like Whirlwind, and entry hazards from going up. This is extremely useful against bulkier foes like Chansey and Skarmory that rely on recovery to not faint. Knock Off is also worth mentioning, as it's able to remove your foe's items while also hitting Pokemon like Gengar and Skarmory for more damage.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Water-types and Ice-type Moves**: Strong Water-types like Crawdaunt, Keldeo, and Modest Mega Slowbro are able to OHKO or 2HKO Gliscor. Pokemon with Ice-type moves like Ice Punch Mega Metagross, Ice Beam Mega Latias and Life Orb Clefable, and Icicle Crash Weavile, and Hidden Power Ice Mega Alakazam can all OHKO Gliscor. Zapdos and Tornadus-T that carry Hidden Power Ice can threaten and beat Gliscor as well.
**Physical Walls**: Defensive Tangrowth with Worry Seed, Leech Seed, and Hidden Power Ice can wall and beat Gliscor. Slowbro can take on anything Gliscor does while also threatening it back with Ice Beam or Scald. Rotom-W is immune to Earthquake and can force Gliscor to use Roost with Hydro Pump. Mega Scizor is able to survive two boosted Earthquakes or beat Gliscor in a Swords Dance battle if both don't have a boost yet. Skarmory is immune to Earthquake, can set Spikes while Gliscor is out, and can use either Counter or Whirlwind on it. Physically defensive Clefable can take any hit from Gliscor and threaten it back with Ice Beam. Gastrodon can use Clear Smog to remove any Swords Dance boosts from Gliscor while also threatening it with Counter. Quagsire is able to ignore Gliscor's Swords Dance thanks to Unaware and remove its Attack boosts with Haze.
**Strong Attackers**: Strong attackers like Mega Charizard Y, Ice Punch Mega Lopunny, Serperior, and Choice Specs Latios are able to outspeed and threaten to 2HKO or OHKO Gliscor. However, Gliscor is usually able to take at least one hit from these heavy hitters and attack back if necessary but struggles to beat them one-on-one if they are near or at full health.
