Go Swellow! my first RMT

as my team's title obviously states, my team is an attempt to build around a swellow. i'm not new to the game but just new to the forums. also, can someone tell me how to post a picture of the pokemon cuz i couldnt find instructions anywhere. . . :P anyways heres my team

images
@ leftovers

relaxed; 240 hp, 216 def, 52 spec def

stealth rock
earthquake
ice beam
roar

swampert sets up stealth rock easily anytime during the match. he also has great bulk, which lets him live explosions from azelf and the like. he's also able to take any electric attacks aimed at gyara & swellow and rock attacks too. works really well with heatran.

gyarados.png
@ leftovers

adamant; 156 hp, 72 att, 96 def, 184 speed

dragon dance
taunt
waterfall
stone edge

i chose to use the bulky tauntgyarados because he can set up on more threats and still perform a sweep. gyara can also employ a double intimidate strategy with hitmontop and survive many physical attacks. he works well with heatran too. gyarados can easily beat up rock pokemon who could otherwise wall swellow (although i dont see many of them. . . )

images
@ leftovers

calm; 248 hp; 228 spec. def; 32 speed

thunderbolt
thunderwave
roost
heat wave

specially defensive zapdos does a pretty good job on my team too. while working together with gyarados, i now have 2 tanks, one for special and physical :) zapdos provides some strong attacks and parahax support too

images
@ leftovers

timid; 252 spec. att; 252 speed; 4 spec def

substitute
fire blast
earth power
toxic

out of all the heatran sets, this one is my favorite. not to mention one of the most difficult to face. with a substitute up, then any team lacking a special wall will have a tough time beating heatran without a sacrifice. toxic also gives heatran a way to hit bulky waters. heatran also easily beats those steel types that wall swellow so much

images
@ leftovers

impish; 252 hp, 252 def, 4 spec def
intimidate

foresight
rapid spin
close combat
stone edge

hitmontop is here to rapid spin away entry hazards, especially stealth rock, which hampers 3 of my team members :( intimidate allows me to employ double intimidate like i stated earlier with gyarados. hitmontop can sometimes use close combat to good effect too and beat some pokemon like ttar down.

images
@ flame orb

jolly; 252 att, 252 speed, 4 hp

brave bird
facade
quick attack
u-turn

swellow. the pokemon i built the team around to help support (kinda) i try to get swellow burned at the first opportunity, then u-turn out to get some decent damage. then i send swellow in late-game to sweep the other team and win :)

@ lum berry

adamant; 248 hp, 252 att, 8 speed

stealth rock
bullet punch
meteor mash
explosion

metagross was here to set up stealth rocks and otherwise defeat the opposing lead. the extra 1 point in speed helps against metagross leads that follow the 4 speed EVs from the smogon page. if metagross lives, then he can also be useful in terms of resistances and to blow up an annoying wall. replaced by swampert

thanks for taking the time to read my team! i'd really appreciate some help, because it has won some battles and lost some, but i'd like to get this team to be a lot better.

Hey, not bad for a first team.

Firstly, pictures are imputted by the insert image button, which looks like a mountain and it is next to the insert hyperlink and quote buttons, which, in turn, are next to the bold, italic, underline, and color buttons.

After clicking on insert picture, a box will come up, prompting you to input the URL or your image. Do so, then click OK. That's all there is to it! Simple, huh?

Perhaps you have some secret super-strategy, but I see little point in out-speeding opposing Metagross leads if you can't really damage them with any of your moves. Without replacing one of your moves with earthquake, you've sort of wasted four EVs.

well ok ill try to add the pictures now. i guess that the 4 extra evs in speed dont really help. i think i'm trying to switch to swampert now to see how it works

OK,first,on Gyara you wanna use EQ instead of stone edge because you have no ground,AND,big AND,you already have electric which serves pretty much the same purpose.
i think SD ape/scarf ape might give this team problems, but other than that, seems pretty awesome.

Suggestions:

changing Swellow to a

Shaymin @ Lefties
252 HP/176 sp atk/80 def
~Leech seed
~Substitute
~Air slash
~Seed Flare

Play shaymin carefully since it cant heal...
and it runs great with heatran!

now for hitmontop...
change it too

Infernape/Blaziken @ Choice Scarf
252 spe/252 atk/4 HP
Adamant
~Close combat is ape/sky uppercut if blazeken
~Fire Punch
~Hidden Power [ water]
~Grass Knot if ape... if blazeken use Mach Punch

no matter which one you decide on,it will do great on your team.

GL!

Best Wishes
~Devin~

thanks for the suggestions. however, i did want to keep swellow, and hitmontop is for rapid spin. i'll switch stone edge to EQ though :) also, i switched from metagross to swampert

Specs Jolteon could be a huge problem for this team. I feel like I've faced this team before and after Swampert was gone, my Specs Jolteon just OHKO/2HKO'd everything on here. I suggest a Scarfed Flygon over Hitmontop. Hitmontop doesn't really seem to do much and ScarfGon would provide an excellent Jolteon counter along with being able to scout with U-Turn.
