ORAS OU Going For Surprises

Okay, so I like to focus more on unconventionalism, surprises, and bulk when it comes to my teams. This is the team I've been using for a while and even almost ranked up to the 1400s with it, but it needs work-diversity-and I can't seem to get it right.

----------------------------
Dragonite @ White Herb
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 248 HP / 76 ATK / 108 SpA / 76 SpD
Quiet Nature
-Draco Meteor
-Extremespeed
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake

This guy right here is by far, the best lead I have ever had. First and foremost - most people expect the typical DD/EQ/DC/Roost set so they usually waste a turn using taunt while I'm capable of 2HKOing most pokes. It's amazing how many people are shocked when I FB their ferros and finish off low health pokes with ES.

The EV spread allows Dragonite to take a few hits while dishing out his own before falling valiantly.1

Togekiss @ Choice Band
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 248 HP / 252 ATK / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
-Aerial Ace
-Drain Punch
-Extremespeed
-Zen Headbutt

Contiuing my theme of surprises, I don't know about you but I would never expect a physical Togekiss and here she is bright and beautiful. Most people will switch into a special wall and be shocked when my Togekiss sends out a Drain Punch or an Aerial Ace for a 2HKO.

Medicham @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
Evs: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Fake Out
-Bullet Punch
-Zen Headbutt
-Power-Up Punch

Eh, point blank - I'm not happy with my mega here. He's more of a filler - good on paper, but pretty mediocre on the field. I like Mega Medicham so I'd like to keep him if I could, I just can't find a real, unique and viable moveset that people already would expect with him. I'm open to suggestions for a different mega as well.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Ability: Leftovers
EVs: 144 HP / 112 Def / 140 SpA / 112 SpD
Modest Nature
-Ice Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Psyshock
-Toxic

Same thing here. Great on paper, I'm IN LOVE with Cresselia's bulk but she simply doesn't have that great of a movepool to back it up. EV spread makes the best of her natural bulk, allowing her to sponge hits and offensively handle her own. Again, she's not great though. open to new ideas.

Chandelure @ Assault Vest
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 180 HP / 180 Def / 4 SpA / 144 SpD
Bold Nature
-Shadow Ball
-Energy Ball
-Flamethrower
-Dark Pulse

Chandelure is fun. He takes hit surprisingly well since his natural great offense allows me to solely focus on making sure he can handle his own defenses. The Assault Vest make him an unexpected special wall to throw off many while dishing out his own attacks. I love Chandelure but again, open to ideas.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpA
Bold Nature
-Wish
-Moonblast
-Flamethrower
-Calm Mind

I love her. I love it when someone tries to set up their stats, I send her in and watch their bewilderment as the damage didn't change. Allows me to Wish her right up, and once she's set up with a couple Calm Minds, she's a force to be reckoned with.

-------------------------

Well there's my team! I'm open to comments, questions, constructivre criticism, so go for it!

Howdy, nice team Alkasesler ! Although, I have a couple of changes to improve it.

Taking a quick glance at your team your team has a pretty big weakness to Azumarill and Weavile both are which pretty common threats in OU. To fix your weavile weakness may I suggest Rotom-Wash > Cresselia. I don't really see what cresselia does on your team apart from maybe granting another ground immunity. With rotom-wash you can switch into weavile avoiding getting 2HKOed and can counter azumarill to an extent. Rotom-wash also allows you to cripple physical attackers (Once again, such as weavile and azumarill) which can really threaten your team if misplayed against.

Now with this change you are extremely weak to medicham and I realised you lack bulky waters so for that reason Slowbro > Togekiss. Once again, I don't really see what togekiss does on your team, so I think slowbro can help you deal with physical attackers a bit, especially Mega Medicham. Slowbro also is great against Mega Medicham thanks to having access to T-Wave being able to slow it down and access to slack off which can provide slowbro with some reliable recovery.

Now what comes to mind is the fact that your team REALLY needs a spinner/defogger considering the fact that you have a dragonite so for that reason Specially Defensive Skarmory > Chandelure. Specially defensive skarmory is always nice especially due to it's amazing physical defense despite dumping the EVs onto special defense. Skamory also somewhat helps against your Weavile/Azumarill weakness thanks to it's amazing defense and typing.

Mixed Dragonite is really mehh. So for that reason Choice Band Dragonite > Mixed Dragonite. Choice band Dragonite allows you to break through walls and put dents in other teams, not much to say about this one but this is a change worth making, trust me.

You should also consider changing your Medicham set to High Jump Kick/Fake Out/Zen Headbutt/Ice Punch or Bullet Punch. Power up punch is nice but then you miss out on an extremely hard hitting fighting STAB which is pretty much essential on mega cham so it can make use of its Pure Power ability to the max. Protect is pretty much unneeded thanks to fake out being enough for Mega Medicham as it's able to get it's mega evolution up guaranteed on any mon other than ghost types.

Anyways, hope I helped and good luck with your team!

Sanjay. Wow those are actually really great suggestions! I love the Rotom-W idea, considering I've noticed my serious issue with Azumarrill's. And I love Togekiss' surprise element but slowbro is much more tactical, understandably.

I'm gonna try out the Skarmory set too to deal with the hazards. thank you a lot for the input!
