My very favorite tier-hopping annoyer strikes again in this painstakingly crafted team complete with all the tools it needs to make the most out of its namesake! I've been using the Wobbuffet / Blissey ("Blobuffet") core quite successfully in Ubers ever since the beginning of BW, but it has been much more challenging to utilize the combination well in OU, until now! Thanks to the careful construction of the team, I've "swept" countless teams with the tag team dream that is Blobuffet, and I'm passing the joy onto you!
At a glance, the team looks like this:
Wobbuffet / Blissey / Landorus-T / Rotom-W / Bisharp / Sableye
Wobbuffet is a Pokemon with a very specific role. As such, I have prepared the remaining five team members to make the most of each particular niche fulfilled by Wobbuffet. Blissey provides crucial Wish and Cleric support, which is what makes the lategame Blobuffet cleanup possible at all. Landorus-T provides Stealth Rock support, which takes advantage of the switches that this team can cause, but it also provides a great check to Volcarona and the Megazards, with whom previous builds have greatly struggled. He also gives me access to U-Turn, which is incredibly useful to provide safe switches to Wobbuffet. It is for this same reason that I run Rotom-W, who completes the exceptional VoltTurn pivot duo, while also providing useful burn support that helps Wobbuffet handle physical attackers with ease. Sableye also performs this useful function, but faster. He also spinblocks, handles physical Pokes pretty much single-handedly, and covers Blissey's Fighting weakness well. Finally, I've chosen Bisharp to hold everything together after much trial and error. He provides the Pursuit trapping to accompany my Tickle Wobbuffet. He can set up for a sweep. He handles the Fairy types to whom I am otherwise a little soft. His powerful Knock Off devastates the likes of Skarmory and other walls which I could never outstall otherwise. Lovely.
That being said, prepare for more in-depth analyses below:

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 28 HP / 232 Def / 248 SDef
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Encore
- Tickle
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
With proper team support, there really isn't much that Wobbuffet can't handle. By safely VoltTurning him in, there is a ridiculous amount of Pokes he can beat, including:
- Aegislash, Encore/Tickle beats physical SD sets, Mirror Coat beats CRUMBLER
- Alakazam, who has no hope (even Mega 252+ SpA Shadow Ball is only a 2% chance 2HKO)
- Azumarill, pre-BD or post-BD+Burned
- Heatran, who has no hope
- Mamoswine, who I enjoy to Tickle stall to get my health back from LO
- VoltTurners, who provide nice damage to their teammates, lol
- Talonflame, who is unable to do 50% damage to me, and is tragically weak to Counter
I've chosen Tickle over Safeguard because it has greatly increased the amount of Pokemon who I can keep Wobbuffet in against, and it provides me the opportunity to Pursuit-trap Pokemon who Wobbuffet is unable to beat alone.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
- Seismic Toss
Blissey here is first a team supporter and second a special wall, and her moveset reflects it, hence the lack of Softboiled and Toxic. Heal Bell is great because it lets me play much more freely with Wobbuffet and Bisharp, without fear of status. In fact, it allows me to Encore a status move, switch, and revenge kill without curbstomping my lategame or needing Safeguard. Wish+Protect keeps Blisey and Wobbuffet alive, although it can help the other folks on occasion. I've chosen Seismic Toss because Status stall Blissey had failed me far too often, and that 100 damage is far more valuable considering what the rest of my team can do.
Furthermore, I've chosen Blissey over Chansey for several reasons: Leftovers recovery, bigger Wishes, (slightly) less fear of Knock Off, and overall better synergy with Wobbuffet.

Sableye @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
- Foul Play
Lot's of utility with this guy, he's a real gem of a teammate; he's a diamond in the rough, a real cut above the rest. Anyways, priority Taunt and Burn are the real draws of the set, shutting down physical or hazard leads, as well as the unfortunate Ferrothorn and Skarmory, who fall pry to this vile combination. Foul Play helps chip away Burned physical threats that stay in, while priority Recover on their last turn of life keeps me healthy for round 2. Furthermore, he makes a good spinblocker and counter to both Excadrill and Donphan.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
Pursuit trapping ranger of great justice, GO!! This guy's main role is to Pursuit-trap losers of Tickle fights with Wobbuffet. Furthermore, his Knock Off is incredibly useful against opposing walls and defensive Pokemon, like the abominable Skarmory. Also, as the most powerful offensive force on my team, he functions well as a lategame sweeper and cleaner. For great justice.
This guy used to be a Scizor, and I'm still not quite sure who the best choice for this position is. I feel like Blobuffet+Sableye is solid, but I'm still not confident about the other three, this fellow included.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge
Stealth Rock and U-Turn are the main reasons for this set. The residual damage helps immensely, and VoltTurn into Wobbuffet is a very powerful strategy that can be very difficult for some teams to play around. EdgeQuake coverage is nice, as is having some form of offensive threat, and this in coordination with Intimidate makes the Megazard matchups much less scary. I feel much better about this Pokemon than I do about Bisharp and Rotom-W, but he is still questionable in my eyes.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spd
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Volt Switch is so great on this team, I can't even tell you. Combined with this guy's access to burn, it makes VoltTurn into Wobbuffet reliable and effective. Pain Split helps when opposing monstrosities like Blissey and Ferrothorn, or Wobbuffet find their way into play, and I need some extra HP. Furthermore, having Cleric support means that I win Will-O-Wisp battles with opposing Rotom-W's.
