VGC Golden Oldie (Dragonite) [GP 1/1]

[SET]
Bulky Attacker (Dragonite) @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Multiscale
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy / Steel
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 52 Spe or 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Scale Shot
- Tailwind / Extreme Speed
- Haze / Stomping Tantrum / Ice Spinner

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragonite uses its high Attack and strong defenses, which are further boosted by Multiscale, to be a very powerful bulky physical attacker. It can be used to check a variety of metagame threats, including Sneasler, Rillaboom, and Torkoal, and provide support for itself and its teammates through the likes of Tailwind and Haze.
- Scale Shot gives Dragonite a consistent and powerful STAB option, and the Speed boost gives it the potential to sweep teams. Tailwind allows Dragonite to support its team through speed control. Extreme Speed gives Dragonite a strong priority option to finish off low HP foes. Additionally, Haze can be used to counter setup sweepers like Dondozo. Ice Spinner provides coverage for Dragon-types with a 4x weakness to Ice such as Garchomp and can be used to clear Terrains, namely Psychic Terrain, from the field, whereas Stomping Tantrum gives it coverage for Steel- and Fire-types such as Kingambit and Incineroar.

- Tera Fairy gives Dragonite an important immunity to Dragon-type moves, particularly Scale Shot from opposing Dragonite, giving it strong defensive utility and the ability to check powerful Dragons like Garchomp while removing Dragonite's Fairy and Ice weaknesses. Fairy is also a good defensive typing, being neutral or resistant to the majority of metagame-relevant attacks. However, this Tera type can leave it vulnerable to other important attacks, including Dire Claw from Sneasler and Make It Rain from Gholdengo. Tera Steel gives Dragonite a resistance to Ice-, Dragon- and Fairy-type attacks, including Blizzard from Alolan Ninetales, Moonblast from Primarina, and Dragon Claw from Garchomp that threaten it, while providing an immunity to Sneasler's Dire Claw and a resistance to Gholdengo's Make It Rain. This Tera type can also make it vulnerable to Ground-, Fire- and Fighting-type attacks.
- 52 Speed EVs with an Adamant Nature allow Dragonite to outspeed Dragapult under Tailwind while allowing it to naturally outspeed Rillaboom and Archaludon and Ursaluna-B with low Speed investment while maximizing its damage output and maintaining its massive bulk. This Speed investment should only be used with an Adamant nature; a Jolly nature and maximum Speed investment can be used to increase the scope of things that Dragonite can outspeed after a Scale Shot; an example of a threat that Dragonite now outspeeds is Dragapult.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Teambuilding
============
- Dragonite is a very common bulky physical attacker on balance and physically offensive Coaching teams. Dragonite shines particularly well against weakened teams. It also appreciates redirection or speed control to make up for its mediocre Speed. It works well at supporting teams against hyper offensive teams, with its Multiscale sets allowing it to survive attacks from many common wallbreakers, including Garchomp and Kingambit. Dragonite works well on balance teams, which value more the great consistency and versatility in matchups and the support it can provide to the team through Haze and Tailwind.
- Dragonite works very well in tandem with Gholdengo and Kingambit, which can cover the Fairy- and Ice-types that may threaten Dragonite. Dragonite also appreciates Coaching support from partners such as Sneasler, which can allow it to mitigate Defense drops from Scale Shot and become difficult to remove for many teams with just a few Coaching boosts. Additionally, redirection from Amoonguss and Fake Out from Rillaboom and Incineroar allow it to better fulfill both its offensive and supportive roles on a team.
- Dragonite's main issues are its relatively low Speed, weakness to Intimidate, and inability to hit Fairy- and Steel-types except with relatively weak coverage options. Therefore, partners like Kingambit and Sneasler can help hit Dragonite's checks heavily. Additionally, Coaching can help shore up its lesser damage output, particularly against Intimidate from Incineroar, and Defiant from the aforementioned Kingambit as well as Annihilape can help punish Intimidate cycling. Another issue for Dragonite are Pokemon that are faster than it and can threaten to OHKO it, such as Dragapult, Alolan Ninetales, and Garchomp. Therefore, redirection is of great use to these Dragonite sets to deal with such threats.

Strategy Comments
============

- Dragonite's main role on teams is as a bulky attacker that can also provide support for its team through Haze and Tailwind. It uses its power and priority to clean up weakened teams while maintaining usefulness throughout the game.
- Dragonite is best used for its heavy damage output and large bulk, so it must be positioned it carefully around potential threats. Dragonite is at its best when Multiscale is kept intact, so keeping it away from weak attacks that may break it is crucial, as having Multiscale can allow Dragonite to tank a powerful hit from a threatening Pokemon and KO back. It can be used as a strong lead into offensive strategies or as a late-game cleaner against more balanced teams. It can also provide important support for its team if it is running Tailwind.
- Dragonite's biggest issues are against Steel-types that are capable of withstanding its coverage options, such as Gholdengo and Corviknight, and strong Fairy- and Ice-types like Alolan Ninetales. To mitigate these threats, position your other Pokemon that can handle them and hit them with heavy damage early in the game with partners such as Sneasler and Incineroar so Dragonite can pick them off later in the game once correctly positioned. Another way around these threats is with redirection to protect Dragonite or Coaching support so it can overpower its checks.

-Dragonite uses its enormous 134 attack stat and strong defences, which are further boosted by its ability Multiscale, to become a very powerful bulky physical attacker. It can be used to check a variety of meta metagame threats, including Sneasler, Amoonguss, Typhlosion-hisui Hisuian Typhlosion, and counter the likes of rillaboom, volcarona and torkoal Dragonite doesn't counter these pokemon and remember to capitalise all pokemon and move names. It can also be used to tank almost any hit and hit hard back, if not outright koing.
-Tera Flying Tera Blast and Dragon Claw gives Dragonite a powerful STAB options. Dragon claw isn't on this set Extreme Speed gives Dragonite a strong priority option to finish off low hp or physically frail enemies foes, and Low Kick and Stomping Tantrum gives it coverage for Dark- and Fire-types such as Kingambit and Incineroar, whereas Ice Spinner provides coverage from dragons Dragon-types such as Mention an example of a Dragon-type and can be used to clear terrains, namely Psychic Terrain from the field. Additionally on Lum Berry sets Haze can be used to counter Dondozo and other boost sweepers. Haze is also used on the Loaded Dice set, and you need to mention Scale Shot
-Lum Berry allows for Dragonite to avoid statuses You could mention sleep and burn specifically from the likes of Amoonguss and Talonflame, while allowing its team a failsafe against Dire Claw statuses from Sneasler. Loaded Dice allows Dragonite to boosts its speed as to out-speed crucial threats and outright sweep some teams. Additionally it allows it to consistently KO certain Focus Sash Pokemon such as Sneasler. Loaded Dice doesn't do this, it simply ensures multi-hit moves like Scale Shot hit a minimum of 4 times
-Tera Flying allows for Dragonite to use the powerful STAB option in Tera Blast Flying You could mention how Tera Flying helps defensively removing Dragonite's Dragon- and Fairy-type weakness too, whereas Tera Steel gives Dragonite a resistance to the Ice, Dragon, Rock and Fairy moves Ice-, Dragon- and Fairy-type attacks Give examples of these types of attacks and mention what pokemon use them that threaten it super effectively and works better on Loaded Dice sets. It's worth mentioning how Tera Steel provides Dragonite with an immunity to Dire Claw from Sneasler and provides a resistance to Make It Rain from Gholdengo
-52 Speed IVs EVs allow Dragonite to reach 107 speed, which lets it outspeed Dragapult under Tailwind Mention if this is with an Adamant or Jolly nature, while allowing it to naturally outspeed 12 speed Rillaboom and Archaludon and max speed modest Ursaluna Bloodmoon Ursaluna-B, while maximising its damage output and maintaining its massive bulk. If you have any defensive calcs for the 52 Speed EV spread, you should mention them here
-This set is very strong and flexible on Balance teams, and is very customisable to suit your teams need, however it does miss out on the immense damage output of Choice Band sets, as well as the protection against Intimidate and Fake Out that Inner Focus provides. Mention that this set misses the bulk of Assault Vest sets too

Wallbreaker (Dragonite) @ Choice Band / Assault Vest
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 50
Tera Type: Normal / Flying
EVs: 4/252/0/0/0/252 / EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Outrage / Tera Blast
- Stomping Tantrum / Low Kick
- Ice Spinner / Tera Blast

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragonite combines its monstrous base 134 Attack Stat, immunity to Intimidate and Fake Out with Inner Focus, and access to very powerful priority in Extreme Speed, which can be further boosted by Tera Normal to become one of the most threatening Wallbreakers in the Metagame
- Dragonite uses the aforementioned Extreme Speed as its primary offensive tool, particularly when boosted by Tera Normal. Outrage gives Dragonite a very strong, if highly inconsistent, STAB option, and Stomping Tantrum/Lowkick , Low Kick and Ice Spinner give Dragonite additional coverage into the metagame at large. Tera Blast can be used on Tera Flying sets to give Dragonite another powerful stab option that is more consistent then Outrage.
-Choice Band gives Dragonite a lot more power and is more immediately threatening, and therefore works better on more Hyper-Offensive teams, particularly against Physically Frail teams. Assault Vest gives Dragonite the ability to switch between its moves, giving the set more versatility and consistency in most matchups, and gives Dragonite back some of the bulk it lost when it forwent Multiscale for the Intimidate immunity Inner Focus provides.
- Tera Normal is the more common option on this set, as it gives Dragonite stab on the very strong priority in Extreme Speed, which can allow for Dragonite to pick up many KOs before the opponent can move, and also removes the weakness to strong super effective moves Fairy and Ice-type attacks such as Moonblast and Blizzard from Primarina or and Alolan Ninetales, respectively. Tera Flying can also be used, as in tandem with Tera Blast it can give Dragonite a very powerful STAB option into much of the format You mentioned this previously, mention that it threatens Grass- and Fighting-types like Rillaboom and Sneasler instead.
- Tera Type Considerations: If Tera types are slashed, explain the rationale behind choosing one over the other in certain situations.
-Whilst this set allows for a lot greater damage output then Loaded Dice or Lum Berry sets, and is much better against common threats such as Sneasler or and Incineroar thanks to Inner Focus, it lacks the bulk The Assault Vest set provides similar bulk to the Multiscale set imo, utility and flexibility provided by the Multiscale set and the ability to use status moves.

(Do the same thing again if there are multiple sets)

Teambuilding
============
-This Pokemon works best on Hyper Offensive or Balance teams, particularly those that are more Physically inclined. It combines well with redirection support such as Amoonguss, speed control such as Tailwind setters such as Whimsicott and Talonflame, which help to support it and maximise its ability to output damage. Strong offensive partners Grounds and Steel to hit the Pokemon that resist or offensively threaten Dragonite, namely Steels and Fairies. Additionally Ghosts and Darks help to hit the Ghosts that are immune to Extreme Speed.
- Gholdengo and Garchomp form a very strong offensive core with Dragonite, each hitting key Pokemon another struggles with. Additionally Dragonite and Gholdengo form a strong defensive core, each covering the others weaknesses. The afore mentioned Amoonguss is also great for redirection support. Partners with Tailwind are also useful, such as Whimsicott. Additionally Pokemon that can help deal with Psychic Terrain teams such as Rillaboom and Incineroar can allow Dragonite to more effectively utilise its strong priority attacks.
- The biggest weakness for Dragonite is Priority Blocking abilities/effects, Ghost Types and faster Pokemon that can OHKO it with Super-Effective Moves such as Alolan Ninetales. To deal with Priority Blocking effects, partners like Rillaboom can be used to reset the terrain, whilst strong attackers such as Sneasler or Garchomp can help KO the Priority blocker, giving Dragonite a lot more room to utilise Extreme Speed. The Ghost type weakness can be patched up by adding strong Dark and Ghost types to your team, such as Gholdengo or Kingambit, and its speed issue can be alleviated by Speed Control such as Tailwind. Again combine this section with the Teambuilding section for the Loaded Dice set

Strategy Comments
============
- Dragonite's main role on a team is to break through offensive teams with Extreme Speed, or cripple defensive teams and checks for your other Pokemon with strong STABs such as Outrage. It shines best against teams that are weakened to the point where it can easily clean up with Priority or strong coverage and STAB options.
- Dragonite is best saved for the late game where is can easily clean up weakened teams, but can also be utilised in the early game against teams that are weak to it, particularly those vulnerable to Extreme Speed to pick up an early KO or two, and it can also be utilised to weaken checks for teammates, so they can shine in the late game.
- Pokemon likes Alolan Ninetales and Primarina can tank a hit from Dragonite and KO back with powerful Ice or Fairy types moves, so to deal with these you can use Pokemon likes Gholdengo or Sneasler to deal heavy damage to them. Ghost types, or Pokemon that have Terastalised into the Ghost type can be a problem from Dragonite's locked into Extreme Speed, so adding Pokemon like Gholdengo or Incineroar can help mitigate this issue. Same as above

It can be used to check a variety of metagame threats, including Sneasler, Rillaboom, Hisuian Typhlosion. It can also be used to tank almost any hit and hit hard back, if not outright koing.
-Tera Flying Tera Blast gives Dragonite a powerful STAB options, and on Loaded Dice Sets Scale Shot can be used as a consistent and powerful STAB option, which gives Dragonite a speed boost. Extreme Speed gives Dragonite a strong priority option to finish off low hp foes, and Low Kick and Stomping Tantrum gives it coverage for Dark- and Fire-types such as Kingambit and Incineroar, whereas Ice Spinner provides coverage from Dragon-types such as Garchomp and can be used to clear terrains, namely Psychic Terrain from the field. Additionally Haze can be used to counter Dondozo and other boost sweepers setup sweepers like Dondozo. Reorder this bullet point to match the set order, so talk about Scale Shot and Tera Blast first followed by Extreme Speed and then the rest of the moves in the order they are listed
-Lum Berry allows for Dragonite to avoid statuses, specifically sleep and burn statuses from Sneasler and Incineroar. Loaded Dice allows Dragonite to get a minimum of 4 hits on multi-hit moves, namely Scale Shot, which allows it to become Dragonite's most consistent STAB option, and consistently KO Sneasler through Focus Sash. Reorder this bullet point to Loaded Dice before Lum Berry
-Tera Flying allows for Dragonite to use the powerful STAB option in Tera Blast Flying, and provides defensive utility in removing Dragonite's Dragon- and Fairy-Type weaknesses, whereas Tera Steel gives Dragonite a resistance to Ice-, Dragon- and Fairy-type attacks, including Blizzard from Alolan Ninetales, Moonblast from Primarina and Dragon Claw from Garchomp that threaten it, whilst providing an immunity to Sneasler's Dire Claw, and resisting Make It Rain from Gholdengo. It works better on Loaded Dice sets.
-52 Speed EVs with an Adamant Nature allow Dragonite to outspeed Dragapult under Tailwind Mention if this is with an Adamant or Jolly nature, while allowing it to naturally outspeed 12 speed Rillaboom and Archaludon and Ursaluna-B, while maximising its damage output and maintaining its massive bulk. If you have any defensive calcs for the 52 Speed EV spread, you should mention them here I don't think you implemented this comment, if you can't you can remove this comment too
-This set is very strong and flexible on Balance teams, and is very customisable to suit your teams need, however it does miss out on the immense damage output of Choice Band sets, as well as the protection against Intimidate and Fake Out that Inner Focus provides. This set also misses the Special bulk that Assault Vest sets can provide, once Multiscale is broken.

[SET]
Wallbreaker (Dragonite) @ Choice Band / Assault Vest
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 50
Tera Type: Normal / Flying
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature

- Outrage / Tera Blast
- Stomping Tantrum / Low Kick
- Ice Spinner

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragonite combines its monstrous base 134 Attack Stat, immunity to Intimidate and Fake Out with Inner Focus, and access to very powerful priority in Extreme Speed, which can be further boosted by Tera Normal to become one of the most threatening Wallbreakers in the Metagame, against both Offensive and Defensive teams. It provides any team with immense damage output and strong priority.
- Dragonite uses the aforementioned Extreme Speed as its primary offensive tool, particularly when boosted by Tera Normal. Outrage gives Dragonite a very strong, if highly inconsistent, STAB option, and Stomping Tantrum, Low Kick and Ice Spinner give Dragonite additional coverage into the metagame at large. Tera Blast can be used on Tera Flying sets to give Dragonite another powerful stab option that is more consistent then Outrage. Mention Tera Blast before the other coverage attacks to match the set order
- Tera Normal is the more common option on this set, as it gives Dragonite stab STAB on the very strong priority in Extreme Speed, which can allow for Dragonite to pick up many KOs before the opponent can move, and also removes the weakness to strong super effective moves Fairy and Ice-type attacks such as Moonblast and Blizzard from Primarina or and Alolan Ninetales, respectively. Tera Flying can also be used, as in tandem with Tera Blast it can give Dragonite a very powerful STAB option that threatens Grass- and Fighting- types such as Annihilape and Ammonguss Amoonguss.
-Whilst this set allows for a lot greater damage output then Loaded Dice or Lum Berry sets, and is much better against common threats such as Sneasler and Incineroar thanks to Inner Focus, it lacks the catch all bulk provided by Multiscale when at full HP, but Assault Vest can make up for this with more consistent Special bulk, and also misses out on the utility and flexibility provided by the Multiscale set.

Teambuilding
============
-Synergy: Dragonite is a very common bulky physical attacker on balance and physical offence offensive/coaching teams. Dragonite synergises very well with heavy physical damage dealers, which can weaken its checks, such as Gholdengo or Alolan Ninetales and vice versa. Dragonite shines particularly well against weakened teams. It also appreciates redirection or speed control to make up for its mediocre speed stat. It works well at supporting teams against Hyper Offensive teams, with its Multiscale sets allowing it to deal with survive attacks from many common Wallbreakers including Garchomp and Kingambit. Choice Band and Assault Vest sets are usually better for more offensive-minded teams, particularly those who utilise Coaching, whilst Lum Berry and Loaded Dice works better on Balance teams, which value more the greater consistency, versatility in matchups and the support it can provide to the team through Haze and or Tailwind. Either set also appreciates pairing with Ghost- and Dark-types such as Gholdengo as to threaten the Ghosts that are immune to Extreme Speed.
-Dragonite works very well in tandem with Gholdengo and/or Kingambit, as Dragonite is able to cover their weaknesses of Fighting- and Ground-types, whilst they can cover the Fairies and Ghosts that may threaten Dragonite. Dragonite also appreciates Coaching support from partners such as Sneasler, which can allow it to mitigate Defence drops from Scale Shot of Loaded Dice sets, and become difficult to remove for many teams with just a few Coaching boosts. Additionally speed control in Tailwind or redirection from Amoonguss can help Dragonite achieve its role easier.
-Dragonite's main issues are its relatively weak speed stat, weakness to Intimidate on Lum Berry sets, and being unable to hit Fairy- and Steel-types except with relatively weak coverage options. Therefore partners like Kingambit and Sneasler can help hit Dragonite's checks heavily, and redirection options such as Magmar or Amoonguss protect Dragonite from faster threats, and allowing it to outspeed after using attack safely with Scale Shot. Additionally Coaching can help shore up its lesser damage output, particularly against Intimidate from Incineroar, and Defiant from the aforementioned Kingambit, as well as Annihilape can help punish Intimidate-cycling. Additionally, Dragonite, particularly Banded Sets Choice Band sets, can struggle with Priority blocking effects and abilities, such as Psychic Terrain, so pairing it with Pokemon like Rillaboom to reset the Terrain, or Kingambit to threaten the priority blocker Mention what pokemon the priority blocker is, can help alleviate this issue. Another issue for the Choice Band sets are Pokemon that are faster than it and can threaten to OHKO it with heavy damage, such as Dragapult, Alolan Ninetales and Garchomp, due to a lack of Multiscale. Therefore Redirection and Speed control is of great use to these Dragonite sets as to deal with such threats. This is an issue for all Dragonite sets so combine this with your sentence for the Loaded Dice set

Strategy Comments
============

-Dragonite's main role on teams is as a bulky attacker, which it achieves through it's high attack stat and incredible bulk thanks to Multiscale, which allows Dragonite to tank almost any hit and deal heavy damage, if not outright KOing with strong priority or STABs. It can be used to great effect against weakened teams, or to weaken bulkier teams for its teammates to pick off.
-Dragonite is best used for its heavy damage output, and large bulk, which can be both emphasised to great effect by Tera, while positioning it carefully around potential threats. Loaded Dice sets are at their best when their Multiscale is kept intact, so positioning it around weak attacks that may break it is crucial when using it, as having Multiscale can allow Dragonite to tank a crucial hit from a threatening Pokemon, and KO back. It can be used as a strong lead into offensive strategies, or as a late-game cleaner against more balanced teams. Choice Band sets are best when they are positioned to throw off powerful Extreme Speeds or other attacks and pick up KOs, whilst avoiding being threatened by faster Pokemon or Ghosts.
-Dragonite's biggest issues are against Steel-types that capable of withstanding its coverage options, such as Gholdengo and Corviknight, and strong Fairy- or and Ice-types like Alolan-Ninetales. To mitigate these threats, position your other Pokemon that can handle them, and hit them with heavy damage early on, such as Sneasler or Incineroar, so Dragonite can pick them off later in the game once correctly positioned. Another way around these threats it with Redirection to protect Dragonite or Coaching Support so it can overpower its checks. Ghost types also provide a problem for Dragonite locked into Extreme Speed, and thus Darks or Ghosts like Incineroar or Dragonite can help eliminate Ghosts for Dragonite.

Hey based off of recent meta changes that have happened after this analysis was written, Lum Berry, Choice Band, and Assault Vest have all fallen off on Dragonite. Remove those and ping me once you're done and I can QC this

-Dragonite uses its enormous (enormous seems like a bit of an overstatement, replace with high or some other adjective) attack stat and strong defences, which are further boosted by its ability Multiscale, to become a very powerful bulky physical attacker. It can be used to check a variety of metagame threats, including Sneasler, Rillaboom, Hisuian Typhlosion (imo there are better examples for h-typhlosion). It can also be used to tank almost any hit and hit hard back, if not outright koing. (fluff, bulky attacker already implies this, if you want to talk about living almost any attack mention it when you mention multiscale)
-Scale Shot gives Dragonite a consistent and powerful STAB option, which gives also also gives Dragonite a speed boost, giving it the potential to sweep teams. Extreme Speed gives Dragonite a strong priority option to finish off low hp foes. Additionally Haze can be used to counter setup sweepers like Dondozo. Ice Spinner provides coverage from for Dragon-types with a 4x weakness to ice such as Garchomp and can be used to clear terrains, namely Psychic Terrain from the field whereas Low Kick and Stomping Tantrum gives it coverage for Dark- and Fire-types such as Kingambit and Incineroar. (talk about Tailwind somewhere, remove low kick mention, change up the orderto put tailwind before espeed)
- Loaded Dice allows Dragonite to get a minimum of 4 hits on multi-hit moves, namely Scale Shot, which allows it to become Dragonite's most consistent STAB option, and consistently KO Sneasler through Focus Sash and makes Scale shot Dragonite's most consistent STAB option.
-Tera Fairy gives Dragonite an important immunity to Dragon-type moves, particularly Scale Shot from other Dragonite's, giving it strong defensive utility and the ability to check powerful Dragons like Garchomp whilst removing Dragonite's Fairy and Ice weaknesses. (say that fairy is a good neutral type overall)Tera Steel gives Dragonite a resistance to Ice-, Dragon- and Fairy-type attacks, including Blizzard from Alolan Ninetales, Moonblast from Primarina and Dragon Claw from Garchomp that threaten it, whilst providing an immunity to Sneasler's Dire Claw, and resisting Make It Rain from Gholdengo. It works better on Loaded Dice sets.
-52 Speed EVs with an Adamant Nature allow Dragonite to outspeed Dragapult under Tailwind while allowing it to naturally outspeed 12 speed Rillaboom and Archaludon and Ursaluna-B with low Speed investment, while maximising its damage output and maintaining its massive bulk. (if the 52 speed set is only adamant say that)
(talk about the difference between jolly and adamant somewhere please)

-This set is very strong and flexible on Balance teams, and is very customisable to suit your teams need, however it is relatively weak to Intimidate and the Fairies that can stop its coverage. It also can be used to great success on Rain and Coaching teams, and its consistency and power allows it to be used on the majority of teams, as long as they can manage the issues mentioned above. (I'm not sure about this section rn.) (not necescary since it's only one set)

Dragonite synergises very well with heavy physical damage dealers, which can weaken its checks, such as Gholdengo or Alolan Ninetales and vice versa. (this feels better to mention in one of the later paragraphs, move it and mention examples of partners that help) Dragonite shines particularly well against weakened teams. It also appreciates redirection or speed control to make up for its mediocre speed stat. It works well at supporting teams against Hyper Offensive teams, with its Multiscale sets allowing it to deal with survive attacks from many common Wallbreakers including Garchomp and Kingambit. It also appreciates pairing with Ghost- and Dark-types such as Gholdengo as to threaten the Ghosts that are immune to Extreme Speed. (you aren't spamming espeed with this set enough to make this relevant)
-Dragonite works very well in tandem with Gholdengo and Kingambit, as Dragonite is able to cover their weaknesses of Fighting- and Ground-types, whilst they can cover the Fairies and Ghosts that may threaten Dragonite. (this doesn't really make sense, ghost types aren't the biggest issue for dnite, dnite doesn't really deal with fighting and ground types either it just resistances; if you talk about anything just say they help against fairies or something) Dragonite also appreciates Coaching support from partners such as Sneasler, which can allow it to mitigate Defence drops from Scale Shot, and become difficult to remove for many teams with just a few Coaching boosts. Additionally speed control in Tailwind or redirection from Amoonguss can help Dragonite achieve its role easier. (maybe you can keep redirection but it doesn't really need tailwind from partners) (mention bloodmoon, incin, and rilla or just talk about incin and rilla together as fake out)
-Dragonite's main issues are its relatively weak speed stat, weakness to Intimidate on Lum Berry sets, and being unable to hit Fairy- and Steel-types except with relatively weak coverage options. Therefore partners like Kingambit and Sneasler can help hit Dragonite's checks heavily, and redirection options such as Magmar or Amoonguss protect Dragonite and allowing it to attack safely with Scale Shot. Additionally, Dragonite can struggle with Priority blocking effects and abilities, such as Psychic Terrain, so pairing it with Pokemon like Rillaboom to reset the Terrain, or Kingambit to threaten the priority blocker, such as Farigiraf can help alleviate this issue. (prio blocking is irrelevant for loaded dice dnite, and for the point about getting ohko'd merge that into redirection and remove the part about speed control; most dragonite teams use dragonite as the speed control already with tailwind/loaded dice)

Couple of questions here:

Fairy is also a good defensive typing, being neutral or resistant to the majority of metagame relevant attacks.However, this tera type can leave you vulnerable to common metagame attacks including Dire Claw and Make It Rain.

In back-to-back sentences, you state that Tera Fairy is neutral or resistant to the majority of metagame-relevant attacks and also weak to common metagame attacks, which sounds like a contradiction. Could you please clarify this?

Dragonite's main issues are its relatively low speed stat, weakness to Intimidate, and being unable to hit Fairy- and Steel-types except with relatively weak coverage options. Therefore partners like Kingambit and Sneasler can help hit Dragonite's checks heavily, and redirection options such as Magmar or Amoonguss protect Dragonite and allowing it to attack safely with Scale Shot. Additionally Coaching can help shore up its lesser damage output, particularly against Intimidate from Incineroar, and Defiant from the aforementioned Kingambit, as well as Annihilape can help punish Intimidate-cycling. Another issue for Dragonite are Pokemon that are faster than it and can threaten to OHKO it with heavy damage, such as Dragapult, Alolan Ninetales and Garchomp. Therefore Redirection is of great use to these Dragonite sets as to deal with such threats.

You mention redirection twice in this one bullet point; does the first sentence add any sort of extra detail to how redirection benefits Dragonite?

- (AS) Dragonite's main issues are its relatively low Speed stat, weakness to Intimidate, and being unable inability to hit Fairy- and Steel-types except with relatively weak coverage options. Therefore, (AC) partners like Kingambit and Sneasler can help hit Dragonite's checks heavily. Additionally, (AC) Coaching can help shore up its lesser damage output, particularly against Intimidate from Incineroar, and Defiant from the aforementioned Kingambit (RC) as well as Annihilape can help punish Intimidate-cycling Intimidate cycling. Another issue for Dragonite are Pokemon that are faster than it and can threaten to OHKO it with heavy damage, such as Dragapult, Alolan Ninetales, (AC) and Garchomp. Therefore, (AC) redirection is of great use to these Dragonite sets as to deal with such threats.

Strategy Comments
============

- (AS) Dragonite's main role on teams is as a bulky attacker (RC) which that can also provide support for its team through Haze and Taliwind, whilst using Tailwind. It uses its power and priority to clean up opponents, thriving against weakened teams (RC) whilst while maintaining usefulness throughout the game.
- (AS) Dragonite is best used for its heavy damage output (RC) and large bulk, while positioning so it must be positioned it carefully around potential threats. Dragonite is at its best when their Multiscale is kept intact, so positioning keeping it around away from weak attacks that may break it is crucial when using it, as having Multiscale can allow Dragonite to tank a crucial powerful hit from a threatening Pokemon (RC) and KO back. It can be used as a strong lead into offensive strategies (RC) or as a late-game cleaner against more balanced teams. It can also provide important support for its team if it is running Tailwind.
- (AS) Dragonite's biggest issues are against Steel-types that are capable of withstanding its coverage options, such as Gholdengo and Corviknight, and strong Fairy- or and Ice-types like Alolan-Ninetales Alolan Ninetales. To mitigate these threats, position your other Pokemon that can handle them (RC) and hit them with heavy damage early on (RC) in the game with partners such as Sneasler or and Incineroar (RC) so Dragonite can pick them off later in the game once correctly positioned. Another way around these threats it is with redirection to protect Dragonite or Coaching support so it can overpower its checks.

GP Team done

You seem to have missed a couple of things when implementing my GP check; did you use the video's method (that is, using the Copyedit button at the bottom of the post)?
