Golisopod functions as one of RU's premier revenge killers, utilizing its sky-high Attack stat and priority First Impression to threaten common threats like Gardevoir, Virizion, and Barraskewda. Liquidation complements First Impression and handles Bug-resistant Pokemon like Centiskorch, Coalossol, and Steelix. Knock Off allows Golisopod to cripple foes like Mantine, Bronzong, and Vaporeon. Golisopod's last moveslot is flexible and can be customized to handle threats that the team struggles against. Spikes is preferred for its general utility, helping Golisopod wear down bulky walls like Dragalge and Bewear that serve as switch-ins to First Impression. Drill Run threatens Steel- and Poison-types like Klefki and Toxicroak, whereas Close Combat allows Golisopod to hit Porygon2 and Copperajah harder as well as improving its matchup against Bewear. Leech Life provides Golisopod with decent recovery, giving it more opportunities to switch in and use First Impression, while Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill Salazzle and Golurk. An alternate spread that has 176 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed maximum Speed Copperajah.

Golisopod is found on balance and offensive builds that benefit from its revenge killing capabilities. Fighting-types such as Virizion, Bewear, and Toxicroak help weaken bulky Water-types like Mantine and Milotic as well as foes like Porygon2 and Vileplume; in return, Golisopod can pressure Psychic-types like Gardevoir, Xatu, and Sigilyph while providing Spikes support. The aforementioned Psychic-types also make for good partners, helping Golisopod against Bewear and Poison-types like Dragalge, Galarian Slowbro, and Toxicroak. Golisopod struggles against Electric-types like Heliolisk, making checks like Dragalge and Claydol vital, with Claydol also acting a switch-in to Indeedee-F. Fire-types such as Salazzle, Arcanine, and Charizard check Steel-types like Copperajah and Klefki and benefit from Golisopod threatening faster foes like Inteleon and Barraskewda.

not qc, just some suggestions

- remove salazzle from liquidation mentions, fire blast forces you out and sludge wave can, too. rhyperior can be faster, so i'd just use coal instead. maybe add steelix mention if you want to have a ground-type example, but not the biggest deal
- not sure about the spread, would make it 252 252 in all honesty or creep umbreon if you really want to. 88 speed had some application in sm, albeit there was still some creeping, but nowadays it's impossible to tell what you're really safe with. telling people that 88 speed evs allow you to outpace rhyperior seems wrong, plays into the idea that you're winning some creep war because you only need 4 evs to outpace opposing uninvested base 40s when in fact this is not reliable. also iirc speed creep is just a no no in analysis spreads, but take this last part especially with a grain of salt
- probably wouldn't mention rock-types in the second sentence, pod has water stab. steel types also don't really switch into it, i would focus on electric- and flying-types and maybe mention teammates that handle its hard stops (mantine, toxicroak (these are examples of hard stops, not necessarily teammates) i just read a bit more and noticed you touched on the hard stops with psychic-types mention and had a mantine mention as well, so you're probably fine with this, i would just rework the 2nd sentence in particular
- last sentence with grass-types mention is a little ??, i would just remove that. fire-types don't add much to golisopod in that vein, since pod just beats grasses
- would add close combat as potential move on golisopod somewhere. cc is especially cool for bewear, but has other uses like hitting p2 copper etc harder than pod's other moves

you could add priority before "First Impression" in the first sentence as well, just adds some clarification for anyone potentially confused on move mechs. otherwise looks okay

Liquidation complements First Impression and handles Bug-resistant Pokemon like Centiskorch, Coalossol, and Steelix. Knock Off allows Golisopod to cripple foes like Mantine, Bronzong, and Vaporeon. Spikes provides Golisopod with tremendous utility, helping it wear down bulky walls like Dragalge and Bewear that serve as switch-ins to First Impression. Golisopod's last move slot is flexible and can be customized to handle threats that the team struggles against. think that these two sentences should be swapped order wise. Drill Run threatens Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types like Salazzle, Klefki, and Toxicroak, whereas Close Combat improves Golisopod's matchup against Bewear, Porygon2, and Copperajah. you already threaten fire-types with liquidation, so not sure about this example. also porygon2 really doesn't like being knocked. Leech Life provides Golisopod with decent recovery, giving it more opportunities to switch in and use First Impression, while Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill Salazzle and Golurk. 36 Speed EVs let Golisopod outspeed 0 Speed invested Dragalge, although an alternate spread of 176 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed max Speed Copperajah. agree w/ roman that the spread seems suboptimal, but qc can deal with that if they want to.

Golisopod is found on balance and offensive builds that benefit from its revenge killing capabilities. Fighting-types such as Virizion, Bewear, and Scrafty help weaken bulky Water-types like Mantine and Milotic as well as foes like Porygon-2 and Vileplume; in return, Golisopod can pressure Psychic-types like Gardevoir, Xatu, and Sigilyph while providing Spikes support. no mention of toxicroak? it can pressure bulky water-types like mantine that pod can struggle with. also it appreciates pod pressuring dragalge if it's runnign drill run. The aforementioned Psychic-types also make for good partners, helping Golisopod against Bewear and Poison-types like Dragalge, Galarian Slowbro, and Toxicroak. Golisopod struggles against Electric-types like Heliolisk, making checks like Dragalge and Claydol vital, with Claydol also providing Rapid Spin support to remove entry hazards. considering that you'll be keeping your boots 80% of the time, is removing entry hazards really that good for pod? could mention how claydol can switch into stuff like indeedee-f that annoys pod. Fire-types such as Salazzle, Arcanine, and Charizard benefit from Golisopod threatening faster foes like Inteleon and Barraskewda to check opposing Steel-types like Copperajah and Klefki. this sentence reads like faster foes prevent the fires from checking steel-types, so should probably reword that. probably a gp thing but its also sort of relevant here.

The way this sentence is worded implies that Golisopod has a poor matchup against Porygon2, which just isn't true. The same goes for Copperajah. I think that this sentence can instead be worded to something like "whereas Close Combat allows Golisopod to hit Porygon2 and Copperajah harder, as well as improve its matchup against Bewear. Leech Life provides Golisopod with decent recovery, giving it more opportunities to switch in and use First Impression, while Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill Salazzle and Golurk. Entry hazards aren't a huge deal for Golisopod, especially when it would prefer keeping its Boots the whole match. Also, you don't need to say Psychic-types here when they're all smacked by Impression besides Galarian Slowbro, just say "a switch-in to Indeedee-F." Fire-types such as Salazzle, Arcanine, and Charizard check Steel-types like Copperajah and Klefki and benefit from Golisopod threatening faster foes like Inteleon and Barraskewda.
