Overview:
This is a UU team that I have had for quite a while and I have been putting touch ups on and editing overtime. It is currently the main team that I use for the UU tier and I have found it to be pretty effective. I have a fire, water, grass core located within this team which does help a lot.
The Team:
Sableye @laggingtail
Ability: Prankster
252hp/252def/4speed
substitute
toxic
trick
confuse ray
This little guy is underrated. Most people think of him as a bit of a pest but don't put much effort into creating a counter for him. Screwing up your opponents items can do wonders for your team. I narrowly have won many times because I have given the foes scarfer the lagging tail. Sableye can also throw around toxics and confusions to mess with your opponents other pokemon. substitute is to toxic stall out pokemon that would be able to KO me if I didn't have a sub up. Over all Sableye is a massive indirect threat to a opponent who is not prepared to handle its tricks pranks.
Swampert @leftovers
Ability: Torrent
252hp/252def/4atk
Stealth Rocks
Waterfall
Earthquake
Ice Punch
Need to take a flare blitz, how bout a V-create? Swampert is just the guy to take it. Being able to switch in on flygon, heracross, darmanitan, and a myriad of other revenge killing pokemon Swampert can do it safety and retaliate by either attacking or setting up some stealth rocks. He is a beautiful physical wall especially since he only has one weakness which my shaymin can wall for days. One of my favourite things to do is switch in on a Flygon's outrage and lash out with a ice punch effectively removing the foe's revenge killer.
Shaymin @leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
252hp/252SpDef/4spA
Seedflare
Earthpower
Leechseed
Aromatheropy
Shaymin is as you can see from its ev placement my special wall. It is able to take those pesky special hits that Swampert can't, act as a cleric, piss off the opponent with leechseed and fire off a couple of attacks to other pokes. This thing is especially great against Suicune even if it has ice beam. Ice beam will do around 30-40% while my Shaymin's seedflare is a 2HKO.
Victini @choiceband
Ability: Victory Star
252atk/252speed/4def
V-create
Fusion bolt
U-turn
Zen headbutt
A true monster with a STAB move that's not even fair to the rest of the game. Once my team has removed the pokemon that can take a V-create from my opponents team Victini can go to town on what remains by decimating their walls and smashing their sweepers. Unfortunately Victini is hindered by stealth rocks and its psychic typing leaves it prone to sucker punches. The other three moves that I have given Victini are meant for coverage but are typically not used a whole lot.
Honchcrow @leftovers
Ability: Moxie
252atk/252speed/4def
Sucker punch
Bravebird
Superpower
Substitute
Honchcrow the ultimate UU sweeper in my opinion. Once that moxie starts going Honchcrow gets to near unstoppable levels. I chose to use leftovers over life orb as I want to preserve Honchcrow and when you have life orb recoil, sub damage, and bravebird recoil Honchcrow goes down pretty fast. I try to get this bird out on an oppents weakened wall or sweeper in order to set my self up. If its a sweeper I'll smash it with a sucker punch, and if its a wall I'll use a sub on the status move. I have swept so many teams with Honchcrow and it will typically get at least 1-2 kills a match.
Heracross @choicescarf
Ability: Moxie
Close Combat
Megahorn
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Like Honchcrow once you set off Heracross's moxie it becomes pretty monstrous. Close combat and megahorn are powerful STABs that dish out a lot of damage, while earthquake is for another coverage move for a pokemon like Chandelure. Some people prefer to use pursuit on in the last slot but I went for stone edge in order to take down Zapdos which troubles my team. This guy functions as a very nice revenge killer but is unfortunately out sped by scarfed Darmanitan as well as having troubles against an Ambipom or Meinshao's fake out after using a close combat.
Threat List:
I have four pokemon that heavily irritate me if my counter/check to them goes down in battle.
Zapdos:
Once this thing is behind a sub it can mess around heavily with my team causing heavy amounts of damage or baton passing off an agility to a sweeper. I typically try and kill it ASAP with a stone edge on a predicted switch in or a toxic from my Sableye but if it gets behind a sub and Heracross goes down, I'm in for a bumpy ride.
Suicune:
If Shaymin is down and this thing is at full HP Suicune will be able to punch some holes in my team before I am able to take it down. From full HP the best I can do to it is 2-3HKO it and in that time it can cause a lot of damage especially burns from its scalds to my fighters.
Bronzong:
Victini is the only thing that I can use to bring this pokemon down and if rain is up its a 2HKO. Bronzong can take multiple hits from the rest of my team while dishing out more damage in order to mess with me. It can pretty much stall me for a while, while being able to chop down my sweepers health.
Gligar:
Gligar can take quite a few hits due to its eviolite and if I see one on its team I will conserve my sableye to take it away from it. Gligar cannot be 2HKO by anything on my team and will stay in throwing around toxics and Stealth Rocks.
I'll be glad to hear all of your rates and suggestions,
