* Power Whip for Water-Types like Bruxish or Cloyster.
* Iron Tail for fairies like Diance.

Set Details
========

* 212 HP EVs for overall bulk.
* Sap Sipper for Grass immunity and boosts attack.

========

* Don't be scared of making him tank strong special hits from the likes of Espeon or Jolteon.
* It can force out many pokemon like Rotom-H, Torkoal, Wishiwashi, Vaporeon, Rotom-C. Make good use of that.

Team Options
========

* Steel and Poison-Types like Registeel or Salazzle force out fairies, mainly Florges and Gardevoir.
* Water-Types like Kabutops appreciate having a safe switch-in to stomach Grass-Type hits.
* Physically defensive pokemon love to have a special tank in their team.
* Wish support is always appreciated due to its lack of recovery.

[SET]
name: Specs
move 1: Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
move 2: Sludge Bomb
move 3: Fire Blast / Flamethworer
move 4: Muddy Water / Thunderbolt
item: Choice Specs
ability: Sap Sipper
nature: Modest
evs: 212 HP / 44 Spe / 252 SpA

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Draco Meteor is a powerful STAB move that deals tons of damage to neutral targets. Dragon Pulse can be used to avoid stat drops.
* Sludge Bomb covers all Fairy-Type pokemon.
* Fire Bast / Flamethrower hits most Steel-Types really hard, and will 2HKO Bronzong, even with max HP and SpD.
* Muddy Water can lower accuracy and hits Fire and Ground-Types like Houndoom and Donphan. Thunderbolt for Water-Types.
* Focus Blast can also come in handy, but Fire Blast is generally preferred, since it does not hit any relevant targets outisde of Normal-Types and Dark-Types like Silvally, Snorlax or Alolan Persian.

Set Details
========

* 252 SpA EVs, Choice Specs and Modest for damage.
* 44 Spe to outspeed other base 80 pokemon and base 85 when uninvested.
* 212 HP EVs for overall bulk.
* Sap Sipper for Grass immunity, but the boost is pretty much useless.

Usage Tips
========

* Goodra is a fantastic pivot that can take special hits from powerful attackers like Swellow. Use that wisely.
* Switch on Grass moves, the boost won't be so useful, but it won't do anything at all.
* Watch out for physical hits, since most will 2HKO if not OHKO Goodra.

Team Options
========

* Water-Types like Cloyster and Milotic need a safe switch in for Grass moves.
* Wish support is appreciated, since it lacks recovery. Florges and Espeon can provide that feature quite easily, but their physical defense is paired with Goodra's, so physical walls would be needed.
* Ground and Rock-Types like Gigalith and Diancie also like having a Grass immunity on the team.
* Physical wallbreakers like Toxicroak appreciate having a strong special attacker to deal with physical walls.

[SET]
name: Assault Vest
move 1: Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
move 2: Sludge Bomb
move 3: Fire Blast / Flamethrower / Ice Beam
move 4: Thunderbolt / Muddy Water / Dragon Tail
item: Assault Vest
ability: Sap Sipper / Hydration
nature: Modest
evs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 SpA

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Draco Meteor is STAB. Dragon Pulse less damage but does not drop your SpA.
* Fire Blast or Flamethrower for Steel-Types. Ice Beam for Gligar and other Flying-Types.
* Thunderbolt for Water-Types like Slowking.
* Muddy Water for Ground and Fire-Types and can lower accuracy. Dragon Tail for phazing.
* Sludge Bomb covers Fairy-Type pokemon that are immune to Draco Meteor.

Set Details
========

* 252 SpA EVs and Modest for damage.
* Assault Vest to make its SpD huge.
* 248 HP EVs for overall bulk and reduced residual damage.
* Sap Sipper for Grass immunity. Hydration is can be useful if your team has rain support.

Usage Tips
========

* Can tank all speciall hits, no joke. For instance, Goodra is only 3HKO'd at best by Choice Specs Swellow's Boomburst, while Goodra will almost OHKO it with Fire Blast.
* Never switch in on physical hits, since it will be 2HKO'd by most of them. Examples inculde Choice Scarf Heracross's Close Combat, which will do up to nearly 80% of its HP, and it will KO 100% of the times when at +2
* Can hit hard on most special attackers that is supposed to check.

Team Options
========

* Physical walls can compliment its bad 70 base defense and form a defensive core that will be hard to break. Examples include Cloyster, Gigalith and Durant.
* Frail pokemon that need a safe switch in for special attacks.
* Wish support is Goodra's dream, since it lacks any kind of recovery

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Rain Dance + Hydration + Rain Sweeper (Kabutops, Thunder Jolteon...). It also allows more usage of rest, but only 1 offensive move can be problematic
* Curse to boost its lower defense and its attack. Can cause problems with the speed drops and loses coverage.
* Toxic + Rest for a stall team, but loses out on good coverage options, letting it walled by either Steel or Fairy-Types
* Gooey can prove to be useful in some situations, but its generally worse due to its lower defense, which means it can't really handle some sweepers.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Gardevoir, Florges, Diancie. They are immune to its STAB.

**Physical Attackers**: Band or Scarf Flygon, Pangoro, Rhyperior. Goodra can be obliterated by physical attackers due to its low defense.

**Toxic**: No recovery -_-

**Special Walls**: Meloetta, Registeel, Slowking. Can take most attacks but have to be careful of its coverage moves. The Choice Band set completeley demolishes them with Power Whip and Fire Punch, so they are only soft checks.

**Faster Dragon and Ice-Types**: Boosted Tyrantrum and Mega-Glaile, who also has Ice-Shard to pick off a weakened one. They can KO Goodra before it can't do anything thanks to their superior speed stat.

tbh the first 2 sets are ok but they're lacking in content in a lot of areas, mainly in usage tips, team options, and c&c. you failed to mention many examples and provided very little details in a lot of cases. i dont think you should write about a pokemon with little knowledge about it / the tier.

rejected

But in a lot of other analysis, many of you said "change a b c and d. Once you do that, QC Approved". If there is a significant difference tell me

the reason for that is because your analyses show a lack of effort and are relatively uninformative and have superfluous information. there's a difference between pushing a writer in the right direction and having to write the analysis for them, which is what qc would have to do for this to continue.

Here's an example where the information is not sufficient:

Wish support is appreciated, since it lacks recovery. Florges and Espeon can provide that feature quite easily, but their physical defense is paired with Goodra's, so physical walls would be needed.

While Specs Goodra would benefit from Wish support, it isn't imperative for it to function. Furthermore, one of the Wish users you mention is a poor user of the move (Espeon). The other problem would be is if you did mention Wish support, the example you gave was an unviable wish passer (espeon) over the best wish passer (umbreon).

Let's look at checks and counters:

**Physical Attackers**: Band or Scarf Flygon, Pangoro, Rhyperior. Goodra can be obliterated by physical attackers due to its low defense.

Flygon isn't a bad revenge killer, but you choose to mention two Pokemon in checks and counters that are both slower than Goodra and struggle tanking its Dragon STABs, meaning they aren't actually checks. You listed Pokemon in checks and counters that lose to Goodra, so the information here is misleading.

The Choice Specs set also lists poor coverage options:

Muddy Water can lower accuracy and hits Fire and Ground-Types like Houndoom and Donphan.

The thing is, neither Donphan nor Houndoom can withstand a Specs Draco Meteor, unless Donphan has Sturdy intact in which case Muddy Water isn't going to KO either. The other problem is that you listed Dragon Pulse as an alternative to Draco Meteor without realizing that two Draco Meteors (one with full strength and one at -2), are more powerful than two Dragon Pulses. So unless Goodra would stay in for more than two turns, Dragon Pulse is not an adequate option on Specs. This also doesn't take into account that Specs Goodra absolutely needs Draco Meteor to pose as a major threat or it's too easily walled.

sorry, i didn't want to lock again, but it's clear that the quality just isn't there. between mentions of unviable pokemon, superfluous information, and poor move choice on certain sets, it's clear that the experience isn't there either. you should take some time to read up on other analyses to see what standards are expected before you jump back in.
