So i may have copied some of this team from smogon, well just the core, I found it and thought it was very good all the credit for the gyrados/gothitelle core goes to air whoever that is but the other 4 pokemon were all me so idk take it or leave it. Anyway I achieved a rating of 1550 with this team on showdown and trust me I suck at this so without furthur ado here's the team:
Gyrados@Gyradosite
Intimidate --> Mold Breaker
EV's 252 Atk/ 4 Def/ 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
So this is the main sweeper of the team pretty good late game sweeper and is pretty bulky after the intimidate. It should be noted that it gains no speed after mega evolving so I'm debating on running jolly because it gains a nice Atk boost after mega evolving but i decided on keeping it as is so it's more of a wall breaker. The listed moveset hits everything in ou for at least neutral damage and it's common counters are taken care of by the next pokemon.
Gothitelle@ChoiceSpecs
Shadow Tag
EV's 84 HP/ 252 SAtk/ 44 SDef/ 128 Spd
Modest Nature
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Fire
-Trick
So this is the second half of the core that is designed to trap and kill (sorry "knock out") gyrados's counters. These aren't the original EVs I changed them so that I can outspeed base 80's with no investment ie mega-venusaur. The original had those speed evs into special defense. Anyway the purpose of this poke is to facilitate a gyrados sweep and eliminate any stall pokemon along with it if the time comes. The given moveset allows it to OHKO most of it's threats except mega-saur which it can outspeed so assuming it doesn't get 5 turn sleep u should be able to do it, hp fire fries steel types and trick destroys stall.
Ok so this is my part of the team:
Talonflame@Sharpbeak
Gale Wings
EV's 252 Atk/ 4SDef/ 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, - SAtk)
-Brave Bird
-Flare Blitz
-Will o Wisp
-Tailwind/Roost
Ahh Talonflame probably on of the most hated pokemon in the game, for good reason too it has the most powerful priority in ou bar a +2 technician bullet punch. Sharp beak may seem like an odd choice for an item, but it's a great way to bluff choice band, and the rest of the set is built off of that bluff. Will o wisp is a nasty suprise for any physical attacker trying to switch in on it and flare blitz rounds out it's STAB coverage. The last moveslot is what I'm debating, tailwind can win games for you especially with priority, but roost is definitely the more practical option. Let me know in the comments what you think is better. Also it is adamant which mean it will lose Talonflame duels but gyrados can take 2 brave birds after intimidate and OHKO with stone edge.
Landorus@Lifeorb
Sheer Force
EV's 4 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+ Spd, -SAtk)
-Earth Power
-Psychic
-Sludge Wave
-Rock Slide
I needed a special attacker with good coverage and landorus fills that role perfectly, receiving a pseudo "choice" boost on every attack landorus can hit anything hard on the switch, a lot of people like to run focus blast on these things and i don't know why, earth power is more powerful after stab and hit's most of the stuff focus blast hits super effectively anyway. Rock slide is to hit ice and flying types, sludge wave for grass and fairies.
Skarmory@Rockyhelmet
Sturdy
EV's 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, - SAtk)
-Roost
-Defog
-Stealth Rock
-Whirlwind
Needed something to switch in on physical attacks and skarmory can get it done being weak only to fire and electric, which gyrados and landorus take quite nicely, it has good type synergy with the rest of my team. It is to be noted however that in a 1v1 situation it has no way of damaging the opponent so be quick to fodder it if it has served it's purpose of getting rid of hazards/ setting them. Also good for getting rid of boosting sweepers.
Sylveon@Leftovers
Pixilate
EV's 252 HP/ 252 SDef/ 4 Spd
Calm Nature (+ SDef, - Atk)
-Heal Bell
-Wish
-Protect
-Hyper Voice
The cleric/ special wall of my team. Personally I think sylveon is better than Chansey because one it's fairy and currently fairy is one of the best types in the game and 2 chansey is weak to knock off. Anyway hyper voice gets fantastic coverage and the rest of the moveset is just standard cleric stuff.
