Grassy Terrain-boosted STAB Wood Hammer is one of the metagame's most powerful sources of immediate damage, which can be powered up even further by Tera Grass. It also can use Knock Off to force progress against checks like Foongus and Drifloon and use U-turn to grab momentum on forced switches. Drain Punch rounds out the set, letting Grookey OHKO Pawniard. Grassy Seed Shroodle is a good teammate, as it can use Grassy Surge + Grassy Seed to become LC's most dangerous setup sweeper. Gothita makes a great partner, taking advantage of U-turn to trap Grookey's checks like Foongus. Hisuian Voltorb forms a potent offensive VoltTurn core with Grookey, benefitting from Grookey's Grassy Terrain boosting its STAB moves while wearing down shared checks like Alolan Grimer with Volt Switch.
