Entry hazards can severely restrict Hisuian Growlithe's ability to switch in, so it is helpful to have teammates like Vullaby and Tentacool. It also appreciates pivots like Mienfoo and Hisuian Voltorb to bring it in. Additionally, Hisuian Voltorb can pressure common Regenerator cores trying to wall Hisuian Growlithe. Stealth Rock from teammates like Pawniard and Glimmet helps Hisuian Growlithe pick KOs more easily.
