Welcome to the very first edition of GSC Slam League! An auction-style lower tier-only GSC team tournament featuring not one, but two slots for each tier! This tournament will feature Ubers, UU, NU, PU, and ZU.

The tournament format will be:
- 4 weeks with a 3 week regular season and a 1 week finals between top 2
- Arbok legal in both PU slots
- Baton pass banned and Smeargle freed in UU unrestricted only

There will be a minimum of 3 substitute slots for each team, totaling to 130k for 10 starters + 3 subs. Restrictions for the second slot will apply to substitutes unless there is no other available substitute.

Lastly, 2 self-buys will be allowed. The first will be 15k and the second will be 25k.

Why should the Hosting Team pick you?: I've managed and drafted for about 15 team tours now, and this would be my third on Smogon. I've also participated in twice as many team tournaments, including starting for GSC UU in UUFPL with my team in the semifinals tiebreaker. I've been connected with the GSC community for a few years now and I'm very familiar with the player base through tours like ALTPL, UUFPL, PUBD, RoAPL, and through Discord, Smogon and Pokemon Showdown, including running my own GSC tournament called Johto League where I connected with a lot of the GSC crowd. My co-manager JoaF is here to round out the lower tier experience and help me draft and support the team that wins the tournament!

I have managed BSSPL twice, reaching the finals both times, and I’m currently leading MSPL. I have managed BKCPL,ADPL,Many other offsite and onsite tours.I’ve also won HGPL As a manager , was a finalist in AXPL, and I’m currently managing NUFL (has gsc nu) and captaining Asia in the BW World Cup.Exguardian has managed NUFL and ghost managed RBYWC and played tours like RoAPL, BLT, UMBD, Teamballo, PUBD and ADVPL. We both can assure creating a good enviorment and drafting the best team possible if give the chance to.

PSA: Due to some valid complaints being brought up (though neglected to be mentioned in the 2 week-long format discussion thread prior), as well as the nature of this tournament and playerbases, restrictions for the second slot for each tier are being removed.

Note that Arbok will still be legal in both PU slots and +Smeargle -Baton Pass will still only be legal in one UU slot.

Why should the Hosting Team pick you?: I've managed multiple GSCPLs, an RBYPL, and an ALTPL to consistent playoff berths and I've been able to successfully foster strong team environments. Both Dawn and I know the lower tier player bases and GSC lower tiers as a whole extremely well.

Why should the hosting team pick you?: We're both experienced in numerous GSC tiers, I've previously managed in RBYOMPL and Lyra is currently managing RUGL + has previously managed ZU Olympiad and RUWC. We're both relatively inexperienced in the management scene but we're keen and we're confident in our ability to create a fun and competitive environment!
