[SET COMMENTS]
Gurdurr is a notable tank in ZU thanks to its good bulk and access to decent recovery through Drain Punch. This recovery lets Gurdurr more consistently set up, letting it accumulate multiple boosts. Gurdurr can utilize Bulk Up mid- or late-game against passive foes like Ferroseed and Audino. Knock Off cripples switch-ins such as Tangela, Altaria, and Garbodor. Mach Punch allows Gurdurr to revenge kill foes such as Shiftry and Cinccino. 252 HP and 60 Defense EVs ensure that Gurdurr will only be 3HKOed by Kangaskhan's Double-Edge, while 252 HP and 60 Special Defense EVs allow it to live Choice Specs Hydro Pump from Basculin after Stealth Rock damage. Guts lets Gurdurr absorb Will-O-Wisp from Rapidash and Toxic from Pyukumuku to empower its attacks.

Gurdurr fits on both bulky offense and balance teams due to its solid bulk and ability to generate pressure with both Bulk Up and Mach Punch. Gurdurr appreciates strong offensive support from its teammates to keep initiative throughout the battle, as it is otherwise prone to being worn down by common VoltTurn cores. Wallbreakers such as Centiskorch, Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost, and Magneton can threaten physical walls such as Cofagrigus, Garbodor, and Qwilfish, enabling Gurdurr to better threaten them late-game. Pokemon such as Rotom and Frosmoth benefit from Gurdurr revenge killing foes such as Silvally-Dark and Shiftry with Mach Punch; in return, they can threaten Flying-types such as Rotom-S and Cramorant that trouble it.

Other Options
=============

Defog is an option to turn Gurdurr into an entry hazard remover that poses good matchups against common entry hazard setters like Piloswine and Rhydon, but it generally has difficulty fitting the move. Stone Edge targets foes like Frosmoth, Centiskorch, Rotom-S, and Articuno.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Flying-types**: Although they do not appreciate Knock Off removing their Heavy-Duty Boots, Flying-types such as Rotom-S, Altaria, and Cramorant can threaten to KO Gurdurr.

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Garbodor, Cofagrigus, and Tangela are able to take hits from Gurdurr and pressure it with their STAB attacks. However, they should be wary of Knock Off. Alcremie is a notable foe that is able to take Gurdurr's STAB options and Knock Off and pressure it with its Fairy-type moves.

**Chip Damage and Knock Off**: It is easy to cripple and wear down Gurdurr, as it is reliant on Drain Punch recovery and Eviolite to check its foes.

Gurdurr is a notable Bulk Up user tank (Gurdurr is used for its ability to sponge hits rather than for its sweeping potential) in ZU thanks to its good bulk, access to decent recovery in Drain Punch, and Iron Fist-boosted attacks. The recovery from Drain Punch lets Gurdurr more consistently set up, letting it accumulate multiple boosts. Knock Off cripples switch-ins such as Uxie, Cofagrigus, and Garbodor. Explain what Guts does. Explain the situation where Gurdurr would use BU.

Gurdurr fits on both bulky offense and balance teams due to its decent solid bulk (it's more than decent) and ability to generate pressure with both Bulk Up and Mach Punch. Wallbreakers such as Centiskorch, Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost, and Vanilluxe can threaten physical walls such as Cofagrigus, Garbodor, and Qwilfish, enabling Gurdurr to better threaten them late-game. Gurdurr has trouble with Fairy-types such as Alcremie and Clefairy, so checks to them such as Skuntank and Magneton are appreciated. Pokemon such as Rotom and Frosmoth benefit from Gurdurr revenge killing foes such as Silvally-Dark and Shiftry with Mach Punch; in return, they can threaten Flying-types such as Rotom-S and Cramorant that trouble it. Mention that Gurdurr enjoys strong offensive pressure because it gets easily wear down by VoltTurn which is common.

Guts is an option over Iron Fist, allowing Gurdurr to absorb status such as Cofagrigus's Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave from Uxie to empower its offensive capabilities. Stone Edge allows Gurdurr to hit Flying-types like Altaria and Rotom-S, but it is generally inconsistent. Mention Defog that's it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Alcremie and Clefairy resist Gurdurr's Fighting STAB moves and Knock Off and can threaten it with super effective STAB options.

**Flying-types**: Although they do not appreciate Knock Off, Flying-types such as Rotom-S, Altaria, and Cramorant can threaten to KO Gurdurr. These one should be warry of Knock Off removing their boots

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Uxie, Garbodor, and Cofagrigus are able to take hits from Gurdurr and pressure it with their STAB attacks or status Guts though. However, they should be wary of Knock Off -> none of these examples has to be warry of Knock Off, Tangela is a better example.

**Chip damage and Knock Off** With Drain Punch as sole recovery and being Eviolite reliant, it's easy to cripple and wear down Gurdurr.

Knock Off cripples switch-ins such as Uxie, Cofagrigus, and Garbodor.
Given both Uxie and Cofa run colbur berry to absorb knocks, you're not actually crippling them. I'd replace more with examples of walls that would lose valuable items such as eviolite, lefties, or boots.

Guts lets Gurdurr absorb Will-O-Wisp from Cofagrigus
Cofa's main sets don't run will'o, so I'd replace this with something more relevant such as being able to take toxics from pyuk or cryo

Wallbreakers such as Centiskorch, Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost, and Vanilluxe
Vanilluxe is no longer ZU so you can replace it with something like Mangeton that does the same thing for it

Gurdurr has trouble with Fairy-types such as Alcremie and Clefairy, so checks to them such as Skuntank and Magneton are appreciated.
Gurdurr doesn't have many issues breaking past Clefairy, as after a knock you can pressure it enough with bulk ups and break past it without too many issues. I'd cut this part altogether as its basically just creamie which is also covered in checks and counters.

I'd make note of Stone Edge in OO for hitting stuff like Frosmoth, Centiskorch, Rotom-s, and Articuno (I know the first check asked for it to be removed, but we're fine with it getting added back)

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Alcremie and Clefairy resist Gurdurr's Fighting STAB moves and Knock Off and can threaten it with super effective STAB options.
As mentioned before, Clefairy doesn't give gurdurr issues so I'd just cut this entire part out and list creamie in the physical walls section
