Hi, i'm new on this generation so i decided to make a team based on Gyarados, i think something is missing but i don't know what, here the team ! :
Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Bounce
I choose him to start my team because DD Gyarados is a pokemon that i loved in 4th gen so i dicided to base my team on him !
Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Roost
Next, I needed someone who could use Defog or Rapid spin, i've think at Latias who can check Rotom-W, Thundurus-T who are threats to Gyarados.
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip
After, i needed someone who could set up SR so i decided to take ferrothorn because he is a stall who check many sweepers of the game.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect
Next, i needed to have someone who could check bisharp, conkeldurr and the other fighting or dark types, i also needed someone who could remove statues so i took Clefable
Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Steel Wing
I've choose Talonflame because i absolutely needed a good stab fire, and he is also a nice revenge killer
Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Modest Nature
- Magnet Rise
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
It's here i'm not so sure to have make the good choice, he is very useful sometimes but he can also be useless, but i've chose him because i can make come a steel type on clefable and trap him with zone, but i'm not sure that's the good choice.
