ORAS OU Gyarados doesn't need a mega stone... (1500+)

So I was looking for something to build a team around, and saw gyarados. I was thinking I might as well make it the bulky mega dd set, but then I looked at it's base stats and typing and though I would try the normal dd set and wow this thing is a monster.

Gyarados:

This thing is an absolute monster. Amazing typing, nice attack stat, access to dd. Unfortunately it's option for flying stab is quite limited, but it all works out as bounce isn't exactly bad. This thing gets a free sub on a lot of different mons as well as walling a lot of huge threats in ou. After one dd it is a force to be reckoned with (like anything after a dd) if it gets to +2 it will have no problem 6-0ing a whole team.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 192 Atk / 4 Def / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Venusaur:

This thing has amazing synergy with gyarados because it gets rid of so many things gyarados has problems with such as rotom-w, quagsire, and can be a super safe switch in to ferrothorn as well. Its also my answer to cm clefable which can be incredibly annoying if you don't have at least one check to it. Just an amzing partner for gyarados overall.

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Knock Off
- Synthesis

Magnezone:

I needed something that could trap extremely bulky steels effectively, and here is the new meta whore himself. Amazing ability coupled with astonishing power this thing takes care of so many threats that gyarados can't deal with. It also works as a decent pivot with acces to powerful stab volt switch and good typing.

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon

Latias:

I needed a defogger, but something that could also take hits well so latias came to mind. With access to healing wish it also has the ability to bring back one pokemon that may have been crippled earlier which is honestly the reason it got the nod over latios. It lacks a little bit of power, but it definitely makes up for it with the added bulk/support ability.

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Healing Wish

Landorus:

I needed a stealth rocker and bird spam check and bulky landorus fit the bill. It has amazing synergy with magnezone as well because it resists magnezones weaknesses and has acces to u turn to help keep momentum. It still has it's monstrous attack stat uninvested which also takes care of the more increasingly popular maga metagross.

What was once my rocker is now turned into the other half of a volt turn core. It has much more utility as a revenge killer because it can just pivot out on predicted switches as well as smack almost any pokemon with good coverage. It also is my answer to chansey because it has access to superpower.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

Garchomp:

I needed a way to revenge kill because my team doesn't have priority and even with scarf, magnezone is not going to beat some threats. Garchomp outspeeds just about everything and with it's amazing power it can OHKO so much after rock damage. This thing also serves as a late game sweeper as outrage or earthquake can usually finish off teams with relative ease.

When I was building this team I couldn't decide on suicide lead chomp or to use it as scarf chomp, ever since switching it over I have been more than impressed. It's guaranteed rocks or it can SD and take out multiple mons with it's odd speed tier. Overall I love this thing.

Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw

Any help is appreciated!

alright solid solid has nice coverage and some mons that arent standard for once. Scarf chomp isnt better than scarf lando so switch those keep rocks on chomp and sash. The reasoning is that lando can pivot into venusaur and chomp cant it forces you to outrage on greninja to knock it out. Rocks chomp is great since its one if the fastest mons that get it and also forces your opponent to take 60% from outrage or take rough skin. By all means it will hurt its opponent one way or the other. I dont have the sets since im on mobile but it chomp should be sash,sr,out rage or dragon claw depending on if you want to beat substitutes or not be forced into outrage,eq, and fblast or swordsdance. Venusaur should be 240 spdef instead to switch into gengar and greninja. Also could be running knock off to hit gar and chansey or eq to hit opposing heatrans. Besides that i think your team is really cool just kinda weak to stall like chansey and such since nothing 2hkos besides chomp. lastly i forgot to mention this but have superpower on landorus to beat chansey and air balloon excadrill.

When i saw that magnezone i was like MEGA magnezone confirmed......

*cough* well not much to say this team is great. But i would replace stone edge with knock off on lando-t to get rid of items from the opponent.

I took advice and made Venu special, but i'll need more testing to figure it out. Knock off is really great because it stops gengar easily and two hp fires is quite redundant.
Switching chomp and Lando, wow chomp is going to hurt you one way or another with its amazing power or guaranteed rocks.

Also all changes are in red
