A cool monotype system I saw in a previous forum, where we have the top 12 monotype battlers, each amazing in their own type, in this site. The top 4 are designated to be the 'Elite Four' for Smogon for their type, and the rest of them are Gym Leaders for their type for Smogon. This should be made in a new subforum in 'Competitive'. Any one can challenge the Gym Leaders in any order, and if they win or if the Gym Leaders feel like givin' 'em out, they get badges. If all 8 badges are gained, they can move on to... the Elite Four! Once they beat them, they can challenge the non-monotype Champion, the best in all of Smogon, and if they win HIM, they get to be Champion. To sign up, you must test a Tester, with your monotype team, and if the spaces arent filled you get to be Gym Leader. If you want to be a specific type that is already filled, battle the Tester and he will see if you are better than the Current Leader. If there are 8 Gym Leaders and 4 Elite Four, you can test and see if you're better than any of the GL or E4 and the Tester will replace them for you.
Same Idea with the Battle Frontier, except its not monotype. At most 12 Facilites (7 E+5 DPPlatHGSS) each with their own idea: 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, monocolor, Roullete Battles, Knock Out Battles, Rented Pokemon, Battle Arcade style, etc.
