* Kyurem can utilize the Haban Berry to survive important Dragon-type attacks from the likes of Raging Bolt, Garchomp, and Dragapult.
* Freeze-Dry is a valuable tool that allows Kyurem to win against any variant of Walking Wake and Ogerpon-W.
* Glaciate's ability to lower Speed allows Kyurem to finish off targets, like Substitute + Leech Seed Rillaboom, with Ice Beam later on.
* The special bulk allows Kyurem to live both a Special Attack Booster Energy Draco Meteor from Raging Bolt, and a +3 Hurricane from Galarian Moltres, while living a Choice Band Dragon Darts from Dragapult on the physical side.
* Against Galarian Moltres, it is worth noting that the Kyurem user should be wary of the item that the opponent is holding. If it's Weakness Policy Galarian Moltres, Kyurem may choose to Ice Beam instead of Glaciate, which it would prefer to utilize in Custap Berry variants. While a lot more difficult to deal with, it is not impossible to defeat Assault Vest Galarian Moltres with enough luck in the form of Hurricane misses or Ice Beam freezes.
* Since Kyurem tends to struggle against most Fairy- and Steel-type Pokemon like Metagross and Iron Valiant, good checks to these like Volcanion, Volcarona, and Skeledirge can serve as good teammates.

* Glaciate's ability to lower Speed allows Kyurem to finish off targets, like Custap Berry Galarian Moltres and Substitute + Leech Seed Rillaboom, with Ice Beam later on. move the molt-g matchup to a usage tips bullet, it's niche and unreliable: ice beam against wp, glaciate against custap, and lose either way to av (I think, double check this). I'd also consider slashing earth power here if there's not many other relevant targets. this should probably be the last move too
* Freeze-Dry is an unvaluable valuable or invaluable, english is a dumb language tool that allows Kyurem to win against any variant of Walking Wake and Ogerpon-W.

+4 24 SpA Moltres-Galar Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 144 SpD Kyurem: 340-402 (74.8 - 88.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
standard comp runs
24 spa
with max +4 is a guaranteed ohko tho
but like you actively have to run max
and you get 2hkoed by glaciate > ice beam anyw
so gg
Itchy av moltres vs haban kyurem is extremely luck reliant
so many things can happen
misses, cane confusions, beam freezes
it's super up in the air
i still can't tell who wins with no luck
labbing it is telling me moltres though
cuz
hurricane glaciate (moltres would be faster) -> ice beam hurricane -> sucker punch
this is assuming the moltres is close to max tho
excluding any luck these are the odds for setcomp moltres to ko kyurem
