hacked masterballs

i haven't been able to find this info anywhere so I'll just ask here. will using hacked master balls affect my ability to play in a Nintendo event? also, will it do anything to my online battling either? thanks

Online battling isn affected.

Im not too sure about Nintendo Events but im guessing you could get pass if your talking about cloned master balls. They could proly think you just restarted anotehr cart and traded over the master balls. Gamesharked masterballs,i doubt those would get through tho

I doubt any Pokeballs have any sort of a varying number (such as IV's, trainer ID etc) that could be desperately used to try to spot hacked ones. Of course not counting hacking yourself an unorthodox number of them that could be spotted should anyone look into your bag. Still I'm 90% sure it wouldn't matter as no one would care to look into your bag and I'm not sure if hacking items is even prohibited.

If you really have a paranoia about it, just clone them with the new-ish GTS-glitch.

Yeah, this was something i've been curious about since all of skarm's Pokes in JAA Chicago were caught in Master Balls. I was too lazy to keep starting over just to get Master Balls, so if I had reached finals at JAA Philly I most likely wouldn't have gone to NYC :/

When they take your cartridge, do they check every event you've done in the game?

i have no idea. i have never been and was planning on attending the next one so i wanted to know if master balls would set off the "OMG HAX" alarm. and i have 999 in my bag.....because its the only number action reply will put into it. i also have 999 rare candies and 95 of each TM :) wheee. i dont view hacking items as cheating, i still breed and EV train all of my pokemon so THEY are still legit

I also hacked Master Balls, and me and my friends sometimes mess around with illegal movesets and stuff for fun (never online though, just ingame and against ourselves).

I hope stuff like that doesn't prevent me from being able to compete in official tourneys. I wouldn't be using anything illegal for the tourney, but some of it might be in my game.

Someone told me NoA can see if your pokémons were cloned/are copies, is that true?
I doubt it, cloning doesn't like mark your Pokémon or something. Unless they look at previous save states then they can tell. Even then, the Pokémon isn't hacked and I doubt they'd mind.

if i AR to get shinnings, can they tell? I used my friends AR to get couple of shinnings, im planning to transfer them in to pearl. will the nintendo people find out i cheated?
