Hacked Pokemon and Nintendo Events

I have noticed a recent surge of concern about hacked Pokemon obtained through the GTS and the Wi-Fi center and Nintendo Events. Obviously Nintendo must have considered that the lack of accountability would allow those who wish to to trade Pokemon that are not legit to unsuspecting players. I was wondering if perhaps we can get a bit more detail on how Nintendo searches for hacked Pokemon.

Did anyone here go to a Nintendo event or have any information about this, even from the older versions? If you do have hacked Pokemon in your account, are you allowed to remove them?
 
If you're talking about the event-only pokemon, then Nintendo can check with OT and the ID number; Serebii has a list of the event-only pokemon and the OT/IDs. If you mean a regular hacked Latios and such.. then... I doubt, unless their stats are just WAAY out there.
