Hacking Parents and TMs

Would you guys consider a Pokemon hacked if...

A legit, Kanto-arrived Charmeleon was bred with a hacked Belly Drum Snorlax to get Belly Drum Charmanders.

One of those Baby Charmanders were given a TM02 - Dragon Claw which was obtained via an all-TMs cheat.

If this is posted in the wrong place, sorry.

it all depends on preference but I prefer pure legit pokemon meaning they do not have hacked genes in them. A hacked tm on the other hand can not be distinguished from a legit one so the tm I think is okay.

I've got a Snorlax anyways so the example is kind of moot, but I was just wondering. The answer to this might come in handy later.

Does the game even keep track of "genes"?

For some reason, I don't think so, but that's something I'm curious about, too.

Well, I guess my opinion actually hinges on the answer to that question. The only thing that matters to me about a particular Pokemon is that I can use it in PBR and Gamestop tournaments (if there are any in my area and I care enough to go to them). I think that's what matters to all of us, doesn't it?

I dunno.

I don't go to those tournaments, but I wouldn't want to trade a pokemon who has one hacked parent, if the game keeps track of that stuff.

Personally, I'd consider it hacked if either of the parents were hacked in any way. But I'm a freak. xD

TMs I could care less about, since not everyone can go out and buy a second game to get multiples.

yes but almost everyone can clone those they got(it's what I did...) provided they have wifi. I think somewhere it does keep track of it's blood heritage

Some people kinda quit the while cloning thing since the level 9 tradeable Mew code was found. And some others like myself can't hide behind a Shaymin or Arceus request to get cloning done. >>;

There's nothing wrong with that, though. I see where you're coming from.

...and cloning them via GTS gets to be a hassle. Then again, I tried it the hard way (1 cloned Stealth Rock in 20 minutes XD), so I wouldn't know if the easier method is less of a hassle. It's probably still enough of a hassle, though.

EDIT @ Tailwind's last post: Simple way around that. Search for a Pokemon that someone likely wouldn't have. If someone actually has such a Pokemon up for trade, keep searching until you find something that no one else has. Then attempt to clone your Pokemon and ask for what you last searched for. Unless someone puts up such a Pokemon that you "requested" for trade while you attempt the trick (in that 1-2 minutes it takes, if that), there's almost no additional risk involved. That's what helped me clone a Stealth Rock.

I clone through AR so I don't have any problems I suggest you look for someone to trade you a Shaymin or an Arceus so that you use it to clone from the GTS.

If you hack the parents than breed them then no. The babies don't count as hacked so long as they don't have an illegal move combination. The only thing passed down when breeding is the moves and IV's so technically your offspring is a legal baby.

I wouldn't consider the all TMS cheat to be unfair, It don't really matter to me.
The hacked parents thing, Could matter, but as long as the baby is legit. It's all good ( usually )
People going around with hacked smeargles with 31's accross the board and get whatever move they want on their breeds doesn't really count as fair ):

There have been enough topics that have been about exactly the same recently and I see no need to keep this one open.
