HPL II Team Playoffs Qualifying Requirements
Note: All use of "OR" and "/" means "AND/OR" (inclusive or). Exclusive or will be used as "one of".
Note2: DNQ = Do Not Qualify, X+ means at least X
Note3: Using something like X+ wins means just their wins in their matchup, while X+ more wins means compared to the team being qualified (e.g. For X's analysis, Y 2+ more wins means Y at least 2 more wins than X, not necessarily paired vs each other)

Win - Qualify.

Tie - Tying puts them behind , so they need to be higher than the other 2 teams. cannot pass due to differential, thus, tiebreak with:

Lose - They need to be higher than the other 2 teams. Thus they can only qualify if both:

Pink Giraffes (2) [1.57] vs. (0) Sigma Star Kyogres
USUM PH: Treeko928 (52) vs (48) adriancosmoem
From the teams adrian's brought so far he's not significantly taking advantage of support and Treeko played fairly well last week. From what I can see Treeko and their support are very tryhard (important in USUM) and they have a less detailed scout for the Kyogres to go off of so giving them the edge.
ORAS PH: Clas (50) vs (50) realExcaliju
Fundamental playing skill is pretty similar imo. Excaliju has more familiarity with the meta but has brought team structures that might've been permissible a year ago, but are overall much less effective these days, while Clas has very strong building support and is decently good at learning new metas. If Clas' teammates prep then they are favored, otherwise I favor Excaliju so going for the middle ground.
ORAS PH Bo3: LycanrocWastaken (55) vs (45) jb291
jb probably wins with playable mu but their past teams (bar dual MMX) are easy enough to cteam that neutral mus are unrealistic. If Lycanroc doesn't throw in-game (and they've played decently enough for the most part) they should be clearly favored

USUM PH: betathunder (40) vs (60) aidan amoongus
aidan and their support appear to be much stronger builders, and playing skill almost doesn't matter here. fwiw 6 Kartana's mu last week was genuinely decent (game was just completely misplayed)
ORAS PH: lag=bad (65) vs (35) Dabob95
lag is the more careful pilot and builds diversely enough to not be realistically cteamable with any one idea. Hoping for the upset though
ORAS PH Bo3: Iguana (35) vs (65) NToTheN
N is the better pilot and a somewhat stronger builder, though as shown last week their building tendencies are rather abusable.

I don’t know much about Zane so I’m giving this to nightedge.
SV BH: Fish Gaming (35) vs FlamPoke (65)
FlamPoke is the much better clicker.
SS BH: JQlove (60) vs Kabilapok (40)
Jq is the better clicker and I respect their teams more.
SM BH: sussyamongusdrip (40) vs Mickle314 (60)
Mickle just had the experience gap over Sussy.
ND BH: rightclicker (55) vs maybca (45)
I think rc generally will build this tier better but I think maybca is the better pilot.
SM PH: Treeko928 (30) vs adriancosmoem (70)
Treeko ran a really bad team last week and mainly won because Aidan made a lot of misplays. So cosmoem has the edge as long as he plays well.
ORAS PH: Clas (45) vs realExcaliju (55)
Clas is a good clicker but I’m giving Excaliju the edge here just because I’ve seen more from them.
ORAS PH Bo3: LycanrocWastaken (45) vs jb291 (55)
Jb is really good but the odds here aren’t horrible for lycan. Will come down to who builds better.

SV BH: teamo (55) vs Quinn (45)
Teamo has proved to be a more consistent clicker imo.
SV BH: Taka (55) vs hybone (45)
Again, I just feel like Taka clicks better.
SS BH: quojova (55) vs Nihilslave (45)
I feel like Quojova has built and played better all tour but this is absolutely not unwinnable for Nihil.
SM BH: aerobee (40) vs anaconja (60)
Aerobee is good but Anaconja is better and gaps Aerobee experience wise.
ND BH: damflame 3 (55) vs XxLazzerpenguinxX (45)
Really close game but I think Damflame is better.
SM PH: TheCreatorOfBullsht (40) vs cscl (60)
Most usum matches will favor cscl and this week is no different. Plus I feel like cscl can easily take advantage of common themes in cob’s building.
ORAS PH: Ballfire (60) vs Sheep Liver (40)
Sheep just has not proved their metal this tour and it is so much easier to prep against sheep so I’m giving Ballfire the edge.
ORAS PH Bo3: Podra (40) vs Ransei (60)
Ransei can be easy to prep against but I generally think Ransei is the better player here.
