[SET COMMENTS]
Hadron Engine Gengar uses its excellent Special Attack, good Speed, and good coverage options to function as a dangerous wallbreaker, pressuring physical and special walls alike. Hadron Engine-boosted Thunderbolt threatens an OHKO on Water- and Flying-types such as Empoleon and Mandibuzz and 2HKOes RegenVest Manaphy, while Focus Blast threatens an OHKO on Heatran and a 2HKO on Blissey, RegenVest Hisuian Goodra, and Roaring Moon. Trick can be used to cripple more defensive switch-ins such as Blissey and RegenVest users, while Sludge Bomb threatens an OHKO on Primordial Sea Zapdos and Ogerpon-C while also potentially crippling switch-ins with poison. Fast wallbreakers such as Barraskewda, Azelf, and Meowscarada appreciate Gengar's ability to pressure their walls like Kommo-o, Empoleon, and Corviknight, allowing them to clean late-game, while in return they can safely let in Gengar by pivoting out of such walls as they switch in. Azelf's Psychic Terrain blocking priority is appreciated by Gengar, as it allows it to avoid an OHKO from Dragonite's Extreme Speed and 2HKO it back with Sludge Bomb. Gengar's ability to absorb Toxic Spikes and OHKO Toxic Debris Great Tusk is greatly appreciated by offensive teams especially, as they can otherwise be crippled by them. Gengar is OHKOed by most Pokemon faster than it, such as Azelf, Barraskewda, and Roaring Moon, and takes takes heavy damage from most priority moves, so defensive teammates such as Corviknight, Great Tusk, and Empoleon are appreciated, with Corviknight and Great Tusk being able to remove the entry hazards that Gengar is prone to being chipped down by. Gengar also appreciates Corviknight and Empoleon being able to safely pivot it in due to their low Speed.

Trick can be used to cripple more defensive switch-ins such as Blissey and RegenVest users, while Sludge Bomb threatens an OHKO on Primordial Sea Zapdos and Volt Absorb Mandibuzz you max out at 85% against Mandibuzz, if you really want to mention something else you can mention the Ogerpon formes, but that's a risky speed tie, while also potentially crippling switch-ins with poison. Fast sweepers wallbreakers such as Barraskewda, Azelf and Meowscarada appreciate Gengar's ability to pressure their walls like Kommo-o, Empoleon, and Corviknight, allowing them to sweep clean late-game, while they can also safely let in Gengar by pivoting out of their walls gengar isn't really coming in safely against corv brave bird or empoleon knock, rephrase this to be bringing gengar in against foes it answers. Azelf's Psychic Terrain blocking priority is appreciated by Gengar, as it allows it to avoid an OHKO from Dragonite's Extreme Speed and OHKO 2HKO 252 SpA Choice Specs Hadron Engine Gengar Sludge Bomb vs. 120 HP / 0 SpD Dragonite: 295-348 (83.5 - 98.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO back with Sludge Bomb.
