I'm just starting to get into the competitive aspect of the game and made this team more of as a joke to play against my friend and I dominated him and have been doing very well on Pokemon Online and was wondering on any improvements I could make. Be gentle as this is my first team
Abomasnow (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
The obvious lead to get the hail started, I switch out quickly if the other player has a weather changer to keep him safe, if not I set up subseed if the typing is appropriate and blizzard or giga drain based on what I'm against or how my hp is. Lefties and evs o make him as bulky as possible.
Regice @ Leftovers
Trait: Ice Body
EVs: 204 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef / 44 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Protect
- Toxic
- Blizzard
- Substitute
He can wall nearly anything and stall them to death. Lefties, ice body, protect and sub make him nearly impossible to take down without taking serious passive damage.
Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Surf
- Blizzard
I get up both layers of spikes up as early as possible and switch out to protect him if they have a spinner or hazzarder, if not I'll keep him out based on the match up. I picked surf over scald because I have plenty of toxic going around.
Kyurem @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Blizzard
- Draco Meteor
- Focus Blast
- Outrage
My sweeper, he can do surprising amounts of damage. Focus blast is for coverage, the rest for various STAB attacks
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- Earthquake
- Facade
He's here to take out rock and steel with eq and resist fighting. Facade is for the high damage due to the toxic going around
Reuniclus (M) @ Leftovers/Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
A basic bulky calm mind set, mostly here to take out the fighting types that threaten my team. Not sure on which item to go with but I'm favoring lefties to help set up but lo without the passive damage is nice as well
